Held up final bend. PHOTONIC SHADOW (3) - slow away. Collided first turn shifted wider. WAERENGA NOVA (4) - tightened making contact first turn. NELLIE LEMON (5) - tightened between runners first turn losing ground. Bumped rounding the bend. WHERE'S NEVILLE (6) - shifted in making contact first turn losing ground. Was lame following the event with a veterinary examination revealing a left metacarpal fracture with x-rays recommended and a 28 day stand down imposed. KAPAI LISA (7) - slow away. Collided first turn shifted wider.
Race 2	MPS Fencing Stakes - C3 - 527	BIG TIME BOSTON (1) - slow away. Shifted out off heels first turn then raced wide. SODA SPLIT (2) - tightened making contact first turn. TRIGGERED (4) - tightened between runners making contact first turn. Found to be lame at the lure with a veterinary examination revealing a right fibula injury with x-rays required and a 28 day stand down imposed. Connections advised TRGGERED was x-rayed in days following this event with no fracture detected and flexion of joints normal. Was presented to the veterinarian at Auckland GRC on 6 November and cleared of injury with this stand down rescinded under Rule 56.5. OPAWA LUCY (7) - contact first turn. OPAWA SANDRIDGE (8) - slow away. Held up for a distance rounding the first turn.
Race 3	Dog Speed PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	SMASH ZONE (1) - steadied when tightened entering the first turn. Raced in restricted room final bend making contact. SASSY LASSIE (4) - contacted start losing ground. Bumped final bend shifting wider. LIVE STREAMING (5) - shifted in start making contact losing ground. Steadied off heels first turn. ALLEGRO WINDY (6) - contact start. Contact final bend. CHIPPER'S CHOICE (7) - contact start. Bumped final bend shifting wider. BLUE BOMBER (8) - raced wide.
Race 4	Book Your Function @ Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C3 - 318	ALLEGRO DRAKE (1) - tightened and hampered first turn making contact losing ground. OPAWA SOLOMON (2) - slow away. Dictated inwards back straight then tightened making contact entering the first turn becoming unbalanced shifting wide losing ground. PORTLAND PEARL (3) - jostled after the start. ZIPPING SAINT (4) - contact start then jostled for a distance becoming tightened between runners losing ground. Contact first turn. SMILE A WHILE (5) - contact start and again soon after. LAGOON TAUPY (6) - shifted in off heels back straight. Tightened and hampered first turn making contact. Presented to the veterinarian with split webbing on the right hind following this event with a 21 day stand down imposed. GO CLIFFORD (7) - hampered after the start losing ground. Hampered first turn becoming unbalanced getting forced wider losing ground. ROCK IT RED (8) - contact after the start.
Race 5	Bon Vovage Marsha Black PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	There was a delay to the start of this event when a lure change was required after stir ups. All runners returned to the kennel enclosure while the replacement lure was tested to satisfaction. BARREL MAKER (1) - collided first turn. HURRICANE BOB (2) - slow away. Tightened first turn contacting the running rail shifting out into the line of FORD MAN. PIPPILOTTA (3) - collided first turn then tightened and checked shifting wider. CAPPIELLO (4) - bumped first turn. FORD MAN (5) - hampered first turn getting forced wider losing ground. DIAMOND TIGER (6) - slow away. CREAMING SODA (7) - tightened and checked first turn losing ground. START BAILING (8) - bumped first turn.
Race 6	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	BORING (1) - bumped first turn. CHI LIN (2) - steadied when tightened first turn then collided on several occasions. Contact rounding the bend into the back straight. Contact final bend. DONNING (3) - collided several occasions first turn. GO EVE (4) - bumped first turn. CANTON (7) - raced wide first turn shifting in rounding the bend into the back straight losing ground. Tightened making contact final bend shifting wider losing ground. GRACE FOOT (9/6) - tired rounding the final bend comin together with CHI LIN then CANTON becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed pain in the right tensor fascia muscle with a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 7	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C2/3 - 318	AMMONITE (1) - tightened making contact for a distance back straight and entering the first turn contacting the running rail losing ground. Checked rounding the bend shifting wider losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed pain in the right shoulder with a 14 day stand down imposed. ALLEGRO SECRET (3) - bumped start. Contact for a distance back straight and entering the first turn becoming unbalanced then contacted the running rail losing ground. Contact for a distance rounding the bend becoming unbalanced. Veterinary examination was not carried out with connections advising a veterinary examination will be carried out in coming days and report any findings. DRIFTER DODGE (4) - bumped start. Hampered first turn becoming unbalanced. SMASH SHADOW (7) - shifted in off heels back straight. Hampered first turn becoming unbalanced losing ground. Tightened onto the running rail rounding the bend making contact for a distance losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed right long head triceps pain with a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 8	SENZ 1476am Stakes - C1/2 - 527	BUCKLAND BOY (3) - contact after the start. Contact leaving the back straight losing ground. ZIPPING LOCKETT (4) - tightened and hampered start losing ground. Checked first turn shifting out off heels losing ground. ABOUT TO DO (6) - bumped after the start. Contact racing into the first turn getting dictated inwards then collided several occasions becoming tightened onto the running rail losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed a laceration of left fore caudal antebrachium with a 10 day stand down imposed. GREAT WORK (7) - shifted in racing into the first turn making contact then collided several occasions rounding the bend. Tightened making contact leaving the back straight. STEVE'S SHOUT (8) - made the final bend awkwardly. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 9	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C4/5 - 318	GO AHEAD CALLER (1) - tightened making contact for a distance entering the first turn losing ground. TEN AFTER FOUR (2) - contact for a distance entering the first turn. MARCUS (7) - collided after the start. Jostled for a distance first turn. PORTLAND OPAL (8) - contact first turn. BANDIT BILLY (9/4) - collided after the start. Jostled for a distance first turn losing ground. PORTLAND JAKE (10/6) - tightened and hampered after the start losing ground. Bumped first turn.
Race 10	Mt Wellington TAB Stakes - C4/5 - 527	There was a delay to the start of this event when the boxes failed to activate. All runners underwent a veterinary examination and were cleared to start. The boxes were tested prior to restarting with the decision made to hand start this event. The club advised electrical work will be carried out on the boxes prior to racing next. THRILLING GEM (1) - bumped start. GO JOHNNY GO (2) - bumped start. Collided first turn. OPAWA ALBERT (4) - tightened and hampered first turn losing ground. BLACK TEA (8) - collided first turn.
Race 11	Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C4 - 318	MINT AS (1) - bumped back straight then collided first turn losing ground. MIRKO (2) - bumped back straight then collided first turn losing ground. LOYAL REDEEMER (5) - tightened making contact start. Shifted wider off heels first turn making contact losing ground then obliged to race wide. PINA COLADA (6) - contact start. Hampered first turn getting forced wider losing ground. STARLIGHT RIA (7) - contact start. THRILLING VERA (8) - contact first turn getting forced wider.
