Trainer R Casey has reported that TAIERI MISSLE had sustained a toe injury during its event and it was his intention to spell the greyhound.

Race 2	Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C2 - 295	LET'S GO YOYO (5) - boxed first. Shifted off heels early stages. FLASHBACK FRED (6) - shifted off heels early stages. HOMEBUSH SPARKLE (7) - contacted the hindquarters of TAMMY THE TOMBOY in the run to the bend before checking inwards off this runners heels.

MINI ADOBE (5) - shouldered with ZIPPING TRACKER early stages before having its hindquarters contacted by OBERON BALE. OBERON BALE (8) - slow early. Contacted the hindquarters of MINI ADOBE early stages.
Race 4	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Sprint - C3 - 295	KNOW BEAST (3) - boxed first. Jostled with HOMEBUSH HARPER in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH HARPER (4) - jostled with KNOW BEAST in the run to the bend. DYNAMITE BOY (7) - slow early. Crowded and lost ground entering the bend. YOUNG MASE (8) - awkwardly positioned to the outside of runners entering the bend.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	GOLDSTAR TOMMY (3) - slow early. Shifted up the track in the run to the bend. Collided heavily with the hindquarters of EPIC BLOSSOM prior to exiting the bend causing this runner to fall to the track. Terminally checked by this runner as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. DENARAU DELIGHT (4) - raced in restricted room entering the bend. HOMEBUSH BENTLEY (5) - placed in tight quarters rounding the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. EPIC BLOSSOM (7) - hindquarters contacted heavily from the inside by GOLDSTAR TOMMY falling to the track as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days as per GRNZ Rule 56A.1
Race 6	Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C5 - 295	LITTLE KID (3) - crowded and lost momentum entering the bend. Losing ground with the field thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. SMASH READY (4) - slow early. MADE THE CUT (6) - shouldered with GOLDSTAR LARSON exiting the bend. SIMON THE PIEMAN (7) - checked and lost its balance for several strides approaching the bend. GOLDSTAR LARSON (8) - shouldered with MADE THE CUT exiting the bend.
Race 7	Suck It Up Ltd Distance - C2d - 645	KNOW GRIZZLES (2) - fell to the track entering the kennels bend when awkwardly placed between runners. Referred to the Veterinarian and found to have hip support soreness with a 7 day stand down recommended. KNOW ACCOUNT (4) - raced in restricted room first turn. Hampered entering the kennel bend by the falling KNOW GRIZZLES. WILLENE BALE (6) - hampered entering the kennel bend when KNOW GRIZZLES fell to the track.

Race 9	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C5 - 520	GOLDSTAR CARLITO (2) - contacted form the outside in the run to the first bend. Crowded entering the first bend shifting up the track resulting in a check from GOLDSATR NOLAN. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CARLOS JEWEL (3) - contacted from the outside in the run to the bend bumping with GOLDSTAR CARLITO as a consequence. GOLDSTAR NOLAN (4) - slow early. Terminally checked entering the first bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. QUINTESSA BALE (6) - collided with CARLOS JEWEL in the run to the first bend. Obligated to check off heels entering the first bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR GIGI (8) - slow early.
Race 10	Real Pet Foods Rolleston Sprint - C5 - 295	THEROUX (1) - boxed first. EMPTY GARDEN (4) - boxed first. Raced in restricted room rounding the bend losing ground. PITCH MARK (5) - contacted form the outside by PITCH MARK early stages. Checked and lost ground when racing in restricted room rounding the bend. referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. AMURI ANDY (6) - contacted PITCH MARK early stages. GOLDSTAR LINDA (8) - checked and forced to become unbalanced rounding the bend coursing wide as a consequence. Race 11	Racing Again Friday 21 October Dash - C3 - 295	KNOW NUGGET (3) - obligated to check off heels early stages. Again shifted off heels exiting the bend hampering HOMEBUSH JETHRO. HOMEBUSH JETHRO (6) - hampered exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR SHARON (8) - gave ground from upon entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have torn its right gracilis with a 42 day incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming.
