General:

1) GO AUDREY (M Flipp) scratched from race 3 today with a veterinary certificate after being examined on Friday 7 October 2022 and referred on for further assessment. Trainer Ms. M Flipp advised Stewards that her veterinarian had further referred GO AUDREY to an ophthalmologist in Wellington with a possible immune issue requiring further treatment. Ms. Flipp has been advised that GO AUDREY is stood down pending an ophthalmologist report and a satisfactory trial.

Race 1	TAB Express Payout Now Here C0 - C0 - 375	OUR WEE SOLDIER (1) - fav- led to nearing the home turn where he eased and turned his head outwards for several strides when clear of other runners . Referred to the veterinarian and cleared of injury. OUR WEE SOLDIER has been stood down ( FTP ) 2nd offence for 3 months and to the completion of a satisfactory trial. BIG TIME STICKER (2) - bumped and pushed sideways racing from the start. Contact enterign the bend was able to hold her position. TABITHA MAGIC (3) - Contact racing off the mats. Bumped and checked entering the bend losing momentum and racing wide for some strides. MISS MAUDIE (4) - slow to jump and was last into stride by several lengths. Hampered and lost momentum when running onto heels entering the bend. ALPHA SHELDON (5) - angled inwards sharply from the jump across the line of MISS MAUDIE and across heels causing himself to be checked. Caught heels and checked again entering the bend. GIANT LURCH (6) - contact in the hindquarters and unbalanced soon after the start .Angled into the bend bumping with BIG TIME STICKER and checking following runners. KUSASA (8) - hampered and checked soon after the start as GIANT LURCH angled out across his line. Checked again into the bend as GIANT LURCH angled across.
Race 2	Greyhound As Pets C0 - C0 - 457	BIG TIME BRINDLE (2) - awkwardly placed on heels between runners entering the bend coming together with FROSTY ANNE catching heels becoming unbalanced for several strides losing ground. Referred to the veterinarian and cleared of injury. BLUE COD (4) - checked soon after the start losing momentum back to the rear. BIG TIME EXPRESS (6) - fav- soon after the start he angled across the line of BLUE COD checking this runner. FROSTY ANNE (8) - angled across soon after the start coming together with BIG TIME BRINDLE entering the bend.
Race 3	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch PBD C1 - C1 - 375	BIG TIME TINK (1) - soon after the start she was tightened and jostled for some strides as PRETTY BELINDA was pushed across onto her for some strides ,then checked into the bend losing all chance thereafter. PRETTY BELINDA (4) - racing off the mats she was dictated and pushed across onto BIG TIME TINK bumping with this runner for some strides and checked losing ground into the bend. BIG TIME AUDI (6) - fav- angled across from the jump tightening and checking runners to his inner for some strides.
Race 4	Outback Trading Company PBD C1 - C1 - 375	ALLEGRO BARREL (2) - bumped with BIG TIME BRIELLE for a couple of strides in the run to the bend. BIG TIME BRIELLE (4) - bumped with ALLEGRO BARREL in the run to the bend, then ran out across heels losing more ground as they raced to the top bend. COMMISSAR (7) - led out to the home turn where he ran wide losing his advantage finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 5	Federal Morgan At Stud C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	OPAWA TRUMP (2) - slow away. ALLEGRO TICKER (3) - placed in restricted room entering the bend. GRASSCUTTER JOE (4) - awkwardly placed behind runners shortly after the start needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room. Raced wide through the home straight. SWEENEY TODD (6) - buffeted shortly after the start and nearing the bend. Tightened entering the bend losing ground and out of contention thereafter. BROTHER PETE (7) - tightened shortly after the start. Raced wide for the majority of the event. BIG TIME DREAM (8) - tightened BROTHER PETE shortly after the start. Buffeted SWEENY TODD shortly after the start and nearing the bend. Tightened SWEENY TODD entering the bend.
Race 6	Big Barrel Palmerston North PBD C1 - C1 - 375	BIG TIME GOAT (2) - contacted from behind shortly after the start. HOT LITTLE ZEUS (4) - contacted BIG TIME GOAT from behind shortly after the start. BIG TIME LOTUS (5) - bumped shortly after the start. CLAWS IN GAGA (8) - raced wide through the home straight.
Race 7	TAB NZ - No Deductions, No Surprises PBD C1 - C1 - 375	OPAWA JASON late scratching at kenneling. LIBERTY TAKER (4) - bumped ALLEGRO TORI entering the bend. ALLEGRO TORI (7) - bumped entering the bend losing some momentum. WAITING GAME (8) - raced wide through the home straight.
Race 8	Dog Speed on SENZ 12pm Sunday C2/C3 - C2/3 - 375	KIRKBY (1) - bumped at the start. Contacted from behind entering the bend. SHOT OF CLASS (2) - began awkwardly bumping KIRBY. Bumped nearing the bend becoming unbalanced and contacting KIRBY from behind entering the bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight. BIG TIME ADISON (3) - bumped SHOT OF CLASS nearing the bend. Raced in restricted room for a distance through the bend. Bumped BIG TIME RITA entering the home straight. HOMEBUSH MANDY (4) - contacted from behind entering the bend. AL'S LOADED (5) - contacted at the start. Bumped and buffeted inwards nearing the bend. Tightened nearing the winning post. BRICKMAN (6) - slow away, then inconvenienced losing ground. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME RITA (7) - began awkwardly inconveniencing BRICKMAN. Bumped and buffeted AL'S LOADED nearing the bend. Tightened entering the bend. Bumped entering the home straight. BIG TIME LOST (8) - tightened BIG TIME RITA entering the bend. Tightened AL'S LOADED nearing the winning post.
