Assessed by vet and found to have a fractured hock with a 90 day stand down recommended. BIG TIME RUA (3) - ran inwards early stages contacting BIG TIME HOTSHOT. GO TINA (5) - ran outwards back straight contacting SOCIAL VERTIGO. Contacted BIG TIME HOTSHOT into bend. SOCIAL VIRTIGO (7) - contacted and pushed wide by GO TINA back straight. OPAWA MAX (8) - raced wide final turn.
Race 2	Greyhound As Pets C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	The area of the track where BIG TIME HOTSHOT faltered in the previous race was inspected and found to be clear of any abnormality. BIG TIME HUGO (2) - raced wide final turn. BIG TIME DOUBLE (7) - contacted BIG TIME RYDER early stages losing ground. BIG TIME RYDER (8) - contacted BIG TIME DOUBLE early stages losing ground. Ran inwards back straight.
Race 3	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C2 - C2 - 375	BIG TIME KILTY (L Cole) was a late scratching at kenneling with a laceration to a toe. BIG TIME OREO (2) - had hind quarters contacted by PAVING WAY early stages becoming unbalanced. Ran outwards on bend pushing BIG TIME AUDI outwards. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. PAVING WAY (3) - heavily contacted by BIG TIME ROYAL early stages and contacted the hind quarters of BIG TIME OREO in consequence. Raced very wide around bend and in home straight. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. BIG TIME ROYAL (6) - ran inwards early stages making solid contact with PAVING WAY early stages. BIG TIME AUDI (7) - pushed outwards by BIG TIME OREO on bend ZAMAH (8) - last on jumping. Pushed outwards around bend.
Race 4	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C2 - C2 - 375	BIG TIME TEA (1) - tightened into bend dropping to rear. Lost ground concluding stages. Assessed by vet and found to have a sprained wrist with a 14 day stand down recommended. SHOT OF CLASS (6) - ran outwards early stages tightening BIG TIME ROVER and contacting BIG TIME TINK. BIG TIME ROVER (7) - tightened early stages losing ground. BIG TIME TINK (8) - contacted by SHOT OF CLASS early stages.
Race 5	Total Bodyshop Supplies C4 - C4 - 375	DRUNKEN LULLABY (1) - awkwardly away settling a clear last. BIG TIME VIOLET (3) - tightened into bend losing momentum. HIGHVIEW SUSIE (7) - contacted by BIG TIME SCOOTER early stages losing ground then pushed down track through the back straight. Appeared to hit the rail on bend and dropped out concluding stages. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. BIG TIME SCOOTER (8) - ran inwards early stages contacting HIGHVIEW SUSIE then pushed that runner down through the back straight.
Race 6	Big Barrel Palmerston North C3 - C3 - 457	BEE LUCKY BANJO (2) - ran outwards into bend pushing WONDER WOMEN outwards. WONDER WOMEN (5) - pushed outwards by BEE LUCKY BANJO into bend contacting XANTHONE in consequence. XANTHONE (7) - contacted and pushed outwards by WONDER WOMEN into bend. Raced very wide concluding stages.
Race 7	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C5 - C5 - 375	ALLEGRO SMOOCH (1) - contacted by outside runners into bend becoming unbalanced for a stride. Ran wide concluding stages. BIG TIME PRADA (2) - contacted by HIGHVIEW JESS into bend then got on heels of that runner after being contacted by ALLEGRO SMOOTH. CLAWS IN MARVEL (3) - tightened into bend and ran wide losing ground. HIGHVIEW JESS (4) - ran inwards into bend contacting BIG TIME PRADA and was dragged down losing momentum as that runner ran outwards. ALLEGRO PEACHES (6) - forced outwards into bend pushing SCREAMING VIKING wider. PORTELLI PUNK (7) - last on jumping. SCREAMING VIKING (8) - pushed wide by ALLEGRO PEACHES into bend.
Race 8	Federal Morgan At Stud C4 - C4 - 457	ALLEGRO PIPPA (1) - ran outwards final turn pushing BIG TIME RIPPER wider. BIG TIME RIPPER (2) - pushed wide by ALLEGRO PIPPA into bend.
Race 9	Premier Meeting @ Palmerston Nth 9th September C5 - C5 - 457	MUSTANG CHARLIE (1) - checked outwards off heels of FREEDOM LEAGUE into bend. FREEDOM LEAGUE (3) - had heels clipped by MUSTANG CHARLIE into bend. HIGHVIEW ANNA (6) - checked outwards off heels of NOT EVEN OWL into bend. Race 10	Outback Trading Company C5 - C5 - 375	CLAWS IN COBRA (2) - checked on bend and appeared to strike rail losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. ALLEGRO ENVY (4) - contacted by ALLEGRO ASHER into bend becoming unbalanced for a stride. BEES AND BIRDS (6) - contacted by ALLEGRO ASHER early stages. Ran outwards final turn. HIGHVIEW MOOSE (7) - slow in early stages. ALLEGRO ASHER (8) - ran inwards early stages contacting BEES AND BIRDS. Continued his inwards movement into bend contacting ALLEGRO ENVY.
Race 11	Great Mates Rehoming Programme C3 - C3 - 375	BIG TIME PIKEY (L Cole) was a late scratching on retrieval from the kennels after he bit his tongue causing profuse bleeding. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the dog in the coming days. No racing incidents to report.
Race 12	Dog Speed on SENZ 12pm Sunday C3 - C3 - 375	BIG TIME CHARM (5) - tightened and became unbalanced on bend losing momentum. Contacted by ALLEGRO MOOCHI final turn.
