1) All runners engaged in the SENZ Duke of Edinburgh Silver Collar were required to provide urine samples for Out of Competition testing during the week leading into today's race.

SADIKI BALE (2) - jostled with UP YOUR QUOTA in the run to the bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have lameness and a cut to its right fore wrist with a 7 day incapacitation issued.. UP YOUR QUOTA (3) - jostled with SADIKI BALE in the run to the bend after being crowded by BIG TIME VARSACE. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. BIG TIME VERSACE (4) - hindquarters raced on when crowding UP YOUR QUOTA. CLAWS IN COBRA (6) - slow early.
Race 2	Auckland Oaks - R/A - 527	WILLENE BALE (1) - crowded entering the first bend losing momentum. Checked off heels entering the back straight. BLACK TEA (2) - jostled with MANDY JEWEL early stages placing this runner in restricted room. Hindquarters briefly raced on first bend. MANDY JEWEL (3) - placed in restricted room early stages losing ground. Collided with LAR GRAND OAKS first bend. THRILLING VIOLET (4) - jostled with MANDY JEWEL early stages placing this runner in restricted room. LAR GRAND OAKS (6) - collided with MANDY JEWEL first bend. Obligated to check off heels prior to exiting the first bend. BIG TIME JOY (7) - crowded and had to check entering the final bend. OPAWA GINA (8) - raced on the hindquarters of BLACK TEA briefly rounding the first bend.
Race 3	Dog Speed Sprint - C4 - 318	GEORGIA'S GIRL (3) - lost momentum when awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. FOR YOU PAGE (4) - checked from behind entering the bend. OPAWA RANGER (6) - hindquarters raced on early stages. PORTLAND JAKE (7) - slow early before contacting the hindquarters of OPAWA JAKE. Clipped the heels of FOR YOU PAGE entering the bend. MIRKO (8) - awkwardly positioned to the outside of PORTLAND JAKE entering the bend losing ground.
Race 4	Ring The Bell Distance - C2d - 603	THEA WHO (2) - shifted off heels entering the home straight on the first occasion. GITAN (4) - raced in restricted room early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels prior to entering the back straight. Weakened entering the home straight. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stewards spoke with Kennel Representative Miss K Wylie regarding the greyhounds performance. Miss Wylie expressed disappointment with the performance but could offer no explanation. She undertook to inform Stewards should anything become apparent in the coming days. HE'S ALI (5) - raced in restricted room early stages.
Race 5	Mt Wellington TAB Series Final - C1f - 527	SWEET POTENTIAL (1) - shouldered with OPAWA DRAGON early stages. OPAWA DRAGON (2) - shouldered with SWEET POTENTIAL early stages. OPAWA MEG (3) - hindquarters raced on approaching the first bend. OPAWA BARREL (4) - raced on the hindquarters of OPAWA MEG approaching the first bend. STEVE'S SHOUT (6) - coursed wide entering the first bend. BLUE ON BLACK (8) - obligated to shift inwards across the heels of GRACE FOOT early stages.
Race 6	Royal Commission Sprint - C5 - 318	NIGHTHAWK SWIFT (2) - began awkwardly. THRILLING BREEZE (3) - clipped heels and obligated to race wide entering the bend. ZIPPING SAINT (5) - heels clipped entering the bend losing momentum. KNOW RATIO (6) - slow early. Shifted up the track exiting the bend dictating Flappable wide. BIG TIME GWYN (7) - slow early. FLAPPABLE (8) - dictated up the track exiting the bend.
Race 7	Waterloo Cup (Group 1) Final - C5f - 527	MILKY TEA (2) - collided with UNO ME NOW entering the first bend. WHEELHOUSE (4) - jostled with MUSTANG CHARLIE on jumping. Awkwardly positioned on the hindquarters of MUSTANG CHARLIE entering the first bend before having to check off this runners heels. Hampered when p[laced on heels first bend. MUSTANG CHARLIE (5) - jostled with WHEELHOUSE on jumping before having its hindquarters raced on by this runner entering the first bend bumping UNO ME KNOW up the track as a consequence. UNO ME NOW (8) - bumped up the track entering entering the first bend before coming back down and colliding with MILKY TEA.
Race 8	SENZ Duke of Edinburgh Silver Collar - C2df - 779	KNOW ACCOUNT (2) - shifted up the track early stages colliding with KNOW KEEPER resulting in NIGHTHAWKE STYLE being placed in restricted room. Shouldered with KNOW KEEPER entering the first turn. NIGHTHAWK STYLE (3) - placed in restricted room early stages losing ground. KNOW KEEPER (4) - collided with KNOW ACCOUNT early stages resulting in NIGHTHAWKE STYLE being placed in restricted room. Shouldered with KNOW ACCOUNT entering the first turn. Continued to shift up the track through the initial stages colliding with NOT EVEN OWL. OPAWA ROWAN (4) - obligated to race on the hindquarters of MELVILL BALE on jumping before being shouldered by THRILLING WATSON. THRILLING WATSON (5) - checked inwards off heels early stages shouldering with OPAWA ROWAN as a consequence. Jostled with NOT EVEN OWL final bend. RAMBLIN' ANDRE (6) - slow early. Awkwardly positioned to the inside of THRILLING SNIPER first turn having to check and lose momentum. NOT EVEN OWL (7) - contacted from the inside in the initial stages.
