1). Selected greyhounds competing in solo training trials were required to provide a sample of urine for the purpose of out of competition testing.

Injury trial:

1). BUDDY BOOM (J Udy & D Cottam) - completed an injury trial as required. A urine sample was taken following this event.

MY BENTLEY (5) - tightened making contact after the start losing ground. Checked first turn shifting up the track then taken wider first turn losing ground. ZIPPING SPOOK (6) - contact back straight. Angled in first turn into the line of MY MATE SPEIGHT making contact losing ground. Shifted in onto the running rail rounding the bend. Veterinary examination revealed a large left hind laceration over lateral stifle including a puncture wound to biceps which required suturing. A 28 day stand down was imposed. VERDUN BALE (7) - contacted hindquarters first turn losing ground. THRILLING RAPPER (8) - slow away. Hampered first turn shifting wider. MARCUS (9/2) - slow away shifting in off heels. Checked first turn getting on heels. Tightened making contact final bend.

COOLIBAH KID (2) - collided back straight becoming tightened. HOT LITTLE NANCY (3) - tightened and checked after the start. Bumped first turn. Held up rounding the bend shifting out off heels making contact. OPAWA SOLOMON (4) - tightened and hampered after the start losing ground. Bumped first turn. Checked rounding the bend shifting out across heels colliding with NUTTY NUTS losing ground. PORTLAND JAKE (5) - tightened and checked after the start losing ground. Bumped first turn and again rounding the bend shifting wider. Solid contact rounding the bend. NUTTY NUTS (6) - tightened and checked after the start. Bumped first turn and again rounding the bend shifting wider. Hampered rounding the bend getting forced outwards onto PORTLAND JAKE becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. OPAWA RHINO (3) - tightened and hampered rounding the first turn shifting out off heels into the line of HIGHVIEW TOBY becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. Shifted out off heels back straight. OPAWA MEG (4) - inconvenienced after the start. Tightened and hampered rounding the first turn. Jostled back straight. Inconvenienced final bend. OPAWA TRUMP (5) - tightened and checked leaving the back straight. Tightened and checked final bend losing ground colliding with THEA WHO. Contact throughout the final straight. STEVE'S SHOUT (6) - shifted in rounding the first turn into the line of OPAWA RHINO. Contact leaving the back straight.
