Palmerston North GRC - 4th May 2022

1). EFFORTLESS RUN (W Hodgson) - Mr Hodgson reported this greyhound had undergone x-rays subsequent to this race day with these revealing a fractured tarsal bone.

2). JUMP ELLE (W Hodgson) - Mr Hodgson reported that this greyhound had aggravated an previously injured hock when being used as a fill in for a satisfactory trial at this meeting.

BORN TRIXIE (4) - raced wide exiting the bend forcing AL'S CASINO and BIG TIME MAY up the track. NUTTY NUTS (8) - slow early. AL'S CASINO (9/6) - dictated wide exiting the bend. BIG TIME MAY (10/7) - dictated wide exiting the bend.
Race 2	Greyhound As Pets C2 - C2 - 375	MY BENTLEY (1) - contacted from the outside on jumping. BIG TIME ADISON (2) - shouldered with BIG TIME CHARM entering the bend before being placed in restricted room and losing momentum. DENUTO (3) - checked inwards off heels on jumping colliding with MY BENTLEY. ZAMAH (4) - placed in restricted room approaching the bend. BIG TIME CHARM (6) - crowded ZAMAH approaching the bend before shouldering briefly with BIG TIME ADDISON.
Race 3	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C3 - C3 - 375	ROYAL RACCOON (1) - boxed first. checked from behind entering the bend. THRILLING SNIPER (2) - hampered entering the bend. ALLEGRO MADDIE (3) - shortened stride rounding the bend continuing to lose ground thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian and found to be painful upon flexion of her left carpus. A 7 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME HOTSHOT (4) - heels clipped early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing ground. BIG TIME RITA (6) - shifted down the track initial stages clipping the heels of BIG TIME HOTSHOT. GOTCHA COOPER (8) - awkwardly positioned to the outside of ALLEGRO SMOOCH rounding the bend checking up the track and losing ground.
Race 4	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C3/C4 - C3/4 - 375	BIG TIME STAR (2) - jostled with BIG TIME ANGEL early stages losing its footing for a stride. Held up and had to check rounding the bend. BIG TIME ANGEL (3) - jostled with BIG TIME STAR early stages. ALLEGRO PEACHES (4) - lost ground when awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend. MAD WORLD (6) - checked off heels entering the bend.
Race 5	Total Bodyshop Supplies C3 - C3 - 457	MONEY TRAIL (1) - contacted and forced to race up the running rail in the run to the bend effectively losing its chance. Referred to the Veterinarian and found to have a laceration on the inside of his left hind leg with a 14 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME ODETTE (5) - lost ground when awkwardly positioned to the outside of BIG TIME BOSTON rounding the bend. BIG TIME RYDER (6) - shifted down the track through the initial stages checking off the heels of BIG TIME BOSTON before colliding with MONEY TRAIL. Awkwardly placed on heels prior to exiting the bend.
Race 6	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457	LAR GRAND OAKS (1) - contacted from the outside on jumping. Lost ground when obligated to check entering the bend checking trailing runners as a consequence. BIG TIME SEATTLE (2) - contacted LAR GRAND OAKS on jumping. Hampered approaching and again entering the bend before shouldering briefly with BIG TIME REWARD. COILED SPRING (3) - lost ground after being awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend. ALLEGRO ZIPPY (4) - awkwardly placed between runners losing ground when entering the bend. BIG TIME RIPPER (5) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. WONDER WOMEN (6) - raced on the hindquarters of BIG TIME RIPPER early stages. BIG TIME REWARD (8) - shouldered with BIG TIME SEATTLE entering the bend.
Race 7	Big Barrel Palmerston North C5 - C5 - 457	LAR GRAND SOPHIA (1) - crowded entering the bend being obligated to check and lose ground. AGENT LEVI (3) - jostled with MUSTANG CHARLIE rounding the bend.
Race 8	SP Betting Now On @ tab.co.nz C5 - C5 - 375	TYPHOON TIM (1) - awkward out of the boxes. Crowded entering the bend. BEES AND BIRDS (2) - checked outwards off heels approaching the bend shouldering with BIG TIME EDDIE briefly. BIG TIME EDDIE (7) - shouldered briefly with BEES AND BIRDS approaching the bend.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C3/C4 - C3/4 - 375	XANTHONE (3) - hindquarters raced on early stages. THRILLING MAPLE (4) - crowded and obligated to check in off heels early stages. Contacted from the outside in the run to the bend. BIG TIME YONKERS (5) - raced on the hindquarters of XANTHONE early stages. Collided with THRILLING MAPLE in the run to the bend.
Race 10	Great Mates Rehoming Programme C5 - C5 - 410	BIG TIME JOY (3) - began awkwardly before jostling briefly with MARRAY PRINCE. Crowded and lost ground entering the bend. MARRAY PRINCE (4) - raced in tight quarters early stages jostling briefly with BIG TIME JOY. ALLEGRO MARS (6) - obliged to check off heels approaching the bend.
Race 11	Dog Speed on SENZ 11am Sunday C2/C3 - C2/3 - 410	BIG TIME GIRLY (1) - shouldered SUPER COLD up the track and onto PENNY MOHAWK in the run to the bend SUPER GOLD (4) - forced up the track and onto PENNY MOHAWKE in the run to the bend. PENNY MOWHAWK (7) - contacted from the inside by SUPER COLD in the run to the bend.
