Race 1	TAB Racing Mega Multi Buster C0 - C0 - 375	BIG TIME RICH (1) - fav- began awkwardly and was unbalanced as he came off the mats. He settled back in the running and was unable to make ground to the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. BLUE ACHIEVER (2) - racing handy when bumped and forced wide in the run onto the top bend. DAWN LIGHT (4) - looking to improve across the top bend when running onto heels losing momentum and ground COMMISSAR (5) - racing handy into the bend and was forced to abruptly check out across heels bumping and jostling with BLUE ACHIEVER, raced wide thereafter.
Race 2	Total Bodyshop Supplies Distance C0 - C0d - 660	HIGHVIEW NESS (1) - fav- angled wide to the lead into the back straight, angled inwards into the bend finishing strongly yo the line. Kennel connections were questioned into todays much improved performance over the distance due to a poor showing in her last distance run in March at Auckland greyhounds. Connections reported that the greyhound had not travelled well to Auckland and performed below expectations. The greyhound had been given a break and has come back refreshed . Comments noted. DELPHI'S ACE (6) - awkwardly away and was last into stride.
Race 3	Greyhound As Pets Distance C1/C2 - C1/2d - 660	SWEENEY TODD (1) - began awkwardly and was slow into stride. He settled back in the running and appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. MR FARENHEIT (8) - fav- began awkwardly for a stride or so. Angled to the rail entering the first turn and improved towards the lead.
Race 4	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C0 - C0 - 457	THILLING ZIGGY scratched -change of trainer. BILLIE BRUISER was a late scratching. MISS FISCHER (3) - contact and checked entering the bend losing momentum and ground. Recovered ground to the line. BLUE COD (7) - in the run to the bend she was bumped and pushed sideways becoming awkwardly placed for a couple of strides. Soon after she was severely tightened and checked entering the bend losing momentum and ground. HIGHVIEW TOBY (8) - angled across in the run to the bend coming together with BLUE COD. Soon after he angled into the bend tightening runners to his inner.
Race 5	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C1 - C1 - 375	ALL CHECKED OUT (4) - clipped from behind and was momentarily unbalanced entering the bend. Checked again on the home turn as SHOT OF CLASS ducked out across his line. BIG TIME TEA (5) - awkwardly placed between runners and checked in the run onto the top bend losing momentum and ground. OPAWA LYNDSAY (6) - began awkwardly and was last into stride. He soon after angled to the rail into the bend and finished best in the run to the line. SHAKE A LEG (7) - contacted the hind of BOBBY DAZZLER entering the bend and was then tightened and checked back off heels to the rear. BOBBY DAZZLER (8) - contact and pushed wide into the bend.
Race 6	Big Barrel Palmerston North C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	GRASSCUTTER JOE (2) - proved difficult to load. Stewards spoke with handler Ms. S Archer who explained that GRASSCUTTER JOE had become unsettled when other runners had become restless in their boxes. Ms. Archer's explanation was accepted on this occasion, with her comments being noted. BROTHER PETE (4) - raced widest throughout.
Race 7	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C1 - C1 - 375	SOLO PARTY was a late scratching. AL'S CASINO (2) - raced handy into the bend ,was then tightened and forced back catching heels and checking back through the field towards the rear. CHOICE SISTER (3) - awkwardly placed between runners being tightened and checked back to the rear racing into the bend. EXPRESS WAY (6) - awkwardly away and was last into stride. Held up entering the bend making good ground thereafter to the line. OPAWA JODY (7) - jostled with BIG TIME NOAH for some strides in the run to the bend and was unbalanced for a stride or so. Referred to the veterinarian and found to have split webbing between the middle toes on her left hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was recommended. BIG TIME NOAH (9/8) - jostled with OPAWA JODY for some strides in the run to the bend and was contacted and unbalanced for a couple of strides. ADOBE BETTY (10/5) - angled into the bend and was crowded and checked going down on her haunches and lost all chance thereafter. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 8	SP Betting Now On @ tab.co.nz C2 - C2 - 375	BUDDY was a late scratching. BIG TIME FAYE (1) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. AL'S LOADED (4) - fav- severely crowded between runners into the bend checked onto heels and was severely hampered losing ground back to the rear finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. CRISPY CHICKEN (6) - began awkwardly and was unbalanced as he came off the mat . He settled in the rear racing into and around the bend. WEBBER COME (7) - angled inwards in the run across the top bend causing a severe check to AL'S LOADED at this point.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2 - C2 - 375	LIBERTY TAKER (1) - checked soon after the start as runners were tightened inwards. TRUTH HURTS (2) - checked soon after the start as ALLEGRO ENVY angled across. BIG TIME ADISON (3) - checked racing from the start as ALLEGRO ENVY angled sharply inwards. NUTTY NUTS (4) - checked racing off the mats as ALLEGRO ENVY angled across his line. ALLEGRO ENVY (5) - fav- angled inwards sharply from the jump checking inside runners. Settled handy in the running and gave ground nearing the home turn finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. PENNY MOWHAWK (8) - became unbalanced for a couple of strides and lost ground entering the bend.
Race 10	Dog Speed on SENZ 11am Sunday C1 - C1 - 410	ADOBE FOX and OSCAR'S REALITY were both late scratchings GO ROYCE (1) - soon after the start he steadily angled out across heels to race wide onto the top bend. OPAWA ZIVA (6) - contact soon after the start for a couple of strides. BIG TIME SCOOTER (7) - contacted OPAWA ZIVA soon after the start. ALPACA SUITCASE (8) - began very awkwardly and was last into stride.
