YOUNG MASE (3) - badly checked by EPIC ADDI into bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and found to have a cut to a webbing with a 7 day stand down recommended. GOLDSTAR WYNTER (6) - badly checked into bend losing chance. Stewards will follow up the recovery of this bitch with connections in the coming days. GOLDSTAR HARPER (8) - forced wide around bend and home straight. EPIC ADDI (9/5) - ran inwards into bend checking inside runners and falling in consequence. Assessed by vet and found to have a displaced compound fracture of the right fore ulna and radius with soft tissue damage up to the elbow joint. Due to the catastrophic nature of this injury the Greyhound was euthanised on humane grounds. |
