1) The Club will have an electrician check the systems for the starting boxes before the next meeting on Friday.

False start.

1 ) There was a false start race 3 with this race being delayed for 7.30 minutes.
2 ) The meeting was subsequently put back for one race at the request of race day control.

Injury trial completed.

1). Selected greyhounds undertaking solo training trials and/or reserve trials were subjected to having a sample of urine taken for the purpose of out of competition testing.

Race 1	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C0 - C0 - 457	SOCIAL VIRTIGO (1) - in the run to the bend he was bumped and jostled for some strides. Was unbalanced entering the bend and angled outwards between runners racing onto the top bend. BIG TIME GRENADE (2) - fav- pressured inwards onto SOCIAL VIRTIGO bumping and jostling for some strides in the run towards the bend. HIGHVIEW HOWARD (3) - dictated across bumping and jostling with BIG TIME GRENADE for some strides in the run into the bend. BIG TIME PEDRO (5) - contact in the hindquarters racing off the mats and checked outwards. Contact entering the bend and checked soon after losing ground. BILLIE BRUISER (6) - ran in sharply across heels racing from the start. settled in the rear to the line. GRASSCUTTER JOE (8) - went up in the boxes as the lids opened and was slow into stride.
Race 2	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 457	RIDGELINE ROCKER (1) - away well. Soon hampered as BIG TIME TINK crossed his line resulting in him checking outwards over heels of LOSING DAYS AND running into the hind of BIG TIME BOSTON losing ground entering the bend then raced wide thereafter to the line. LAR GRAND OAKS (2) - ran outwards sharply coming off the mats checking runner to her outer. LAR GRAND SOPHIA (3) - checked at the start as LAR GRAND OAKS ran outwards. She carried out angling outwards for some strides. HIGHVIEW SAMMY (4) - checked racing from the start angling outwards onto BIG TIME BOSTON. BIG TIME TINK (5) - contact soon after the start , then angled in across the line of RIDGELINE ROCKER to lead into the bend. LOSING DAYS (6) - looking to angle across into the bend running into and across the line of RIDGELINE ROCKER. BIG TIME BOSTON (7) - slow away then bumped as HIGHTVIEW SAMMY ran outwards. Bumped and checked entering the bend and unbalanced for a couple of strides. made ground to the line.
Race 3	Total Bodyshop Supplies C0 - C0 - 410	The lids failed to activate causing a false start . All runners were vetted and cleared for a restart. This race was restarted 7 minutes over the scheduled time. BIG TIME ROGER (1) - began awkwardly and was unbalanced for a couple of strides. BIG TIME RARE (2) - bumped and jostled for some strides in the run to the bend, then angled across heels racing extremely wide onto the top bend losing ground ,the raced wide thereafter. ALLEGRO ROYAL (3) - awkwardly away and was last into stride. Ran inwards and contacted the rail twice becoming unbalanced for several strides. referred to the vet and cleared of injury. ALLEGRO SCAMP (8) - racing onto the top bend he was forced to abruptly check off heels losing several lengths.
Race 4	Big Barrel Palmerston North C0 - C0 - 410	ALLEGRO ASHER (1) - began awkwardly and was unbalanced for a stride or so. BIG TIME BALLET (6) - checked racing from the start as BIG TIME BONITA ran inwards. BIG TIME BONITA (7) - angled inwards from the jump running in onto BIG TIME BALLET racing from the start. Angled out across heels into the bend running into BIG TIME DAWN. BIG TIME DAWN (8) - bumped and pushed sideways becoming unbalanced for several strides entering the bend losing all chance thereafter. referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Greyhound As Pets C1 Heat 1 - C1q - 410 Heat 1	BIG TIME CLOVER (2) - jostled with BIG TIME FAYE for several strides in the run to the bend. BIG TIME FAYE (5) - jostled between runners and bumped with HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF entering the bend. HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF (6) - away well in the initial stages. Contact with BIG TIME FAYE entering the bend. Raced handy on the outer across the top bend drifting back to the rear entering the home straight and finished a margin in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left hind gracilis muscle a 7 day stand down was recommended. Stewards spoke with kennel rep regarding the dogs run today. After considering comments from Mr S McInerney the performance today has been noted.
Race 6	Greyhound As Pets C1 Heat 2 - C1q - 410 Heat 2	LOVE RACE (1) - racing handy when bumped and jostled into the bend lost more ground when contatced from behind in the run onto the top bend was unable to make ground thereafter. MITCHAM NIKORIMA (3) - contact early stages . Tightened and crowded entering the bend losing ground. PAVING WAY (4) - angled outwards from the start led and raced wide into and around the bend to the line. BIG TIME KILTY (5) - forced to race wide into the bend settled in the midfield and was unable to make ground to the line. TRUE TESTAMENT (6) - crowded into the bend catching heels becoming unbalanced checking for some strides losing ground back to the rear. BIG TIME VIOLET (7) - dwelt at the jump and was last into stride.
Race 7	Greyhound As Pets C1 Heat 3 - C1q - 410 Heat 3	BIG TIME PACKER (1) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. BIG TIME MOSSY (2) - angled into the bend racing handy on the outer. Pushed wide on the home turn and weakened in the run to the line. ENGINE ROOM (4) - hampered racing from the start as runners angled in across her line. BOBBY DAZZLER (5) - checked at the start as ALLEGRO DINKY ran across into him. Checked into the bend as ALLEGRO DINKY crossed his line to the rail. ALLEGRO DINKY (6) - angled across sharply from the jump running in across BOBBY DAZZLER who caught his hindquarters resulting in ALLEGRO DINKY becoming unbalanced in his hindquarters for a couple of strides.
Race 8	Greyhound As Pets C1 Heat 4 - C1q - 410 Heat 4	HIGHVIEW MOOSE (1) - went up with the lids and began awkwardly .Angled into the bend becoming awkwardly placed for a few strides . lost ground nearing the home turn finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and found to have pain over his left gracilis. A 10 day stand down period was recommended. PARADOX PRINCE (2) - began very awkwardly and was slow into stride.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2 - C2 - 410	KIOSK (1) - in the run towards the bend he was bumped and jostled then forced back as runners came across. He lost momentum and ground and was unable to get into contention thereafter. RAPID RENEGADE (2) - bumped and jostled with KIOSK for some strides then tightened inwards across the line of KIOSK and lost ground entering the bend. VAN IVAN (4) - angled into the bend across the line of RAPID RENEGADE. BIG TIME MAY (5) - raced handy to the bend where she angled outwards ,soon after she angled inwards across the line of IDOL MEGHAN racing wide thereafter. IDOL MEGHAN (7) - ran wide into the bend. Forced to check over heels on the top bend and raced wide thereafter.
Race 10	World's Fastest Couch Potatoes C2 - C2 - 410	MOTHER'S TOUCH (2) - angled outwards into the bend and raced wide thereafter. BORN TRIXIE (3) - jostled with PENNY MOHAWK for a couple of strides into the bend. Angled wide into the home straight making good ground to the line. PENNY MOWHAWK (6) - contact and jostled for a couple of strides into the bend.
