1). Selected greyhounds undertaking solo training trials and/or reserve trials were subjected to having a sample of urine taken for the purpose of out of competition testing.

Injury trial:

1) - GINGER MASCARA (R & L Udy) - required to trial prior to resuming.

2) - An unnamed dog, MISTER TWISTER from MRS BROWNS GIRL, from the kennel of R & N O'Regan competing in a post race training trial tore the right hip support with a 42 day stand down imposed and will be required to complete an injury trial.

Stand down presented under Rule 56.6:

1) - LET EM TALK (S O'Neill) - presented to the on course veterinarian to have the 14 day stand down imposed at Waikato 3 February (left triceps pain) rescinded. This dog was found to still be showing signs of pain in the left triceps with the original stand down remaining. A urine sample was taken from this dog.

An investigation was opened and adjourned into NIGHT ACE (J Foot) not being scratched with the club requiring this dog to be to be a late scratching denying a reserve runner a start.

Veterinary examination revealed right fore nail bed infection with a 7 day stand down imposed. SCOTCH MIST (7) - tightened and checked start. Shifted up the track off heels back straight into the line of SMASH VISION. Contacted rounding the bend shifting wider. SMASH VISION (8) - contact start. Dictated wider back straight then checked shifting in off heels. Jostled for a distance rounding the bend. THRILLING POLLY (9/2) - bumped after the start. Collided first turn.
Race 2	Jo's Wholesale Taipa Tavern Sprint - C1 - 318	MEANDERING (1) - tightened racing toward the first turn then steadied away from the rail. ALLEGRO SKYE (2) - slow away. Jostled throughout the bend. ALLEGRO ROBBIE (3) - bumped start. OPAWA ANDREW (4) - bumped start. Contact first turn. MAJOR MARGARET (5) - tightened and checked first turn. WAITERIMU RIPPER (6) - tightened after the start losing ground. Jostled throughout the bend becoming tightened between runners losing ground. AGENT AMY (7) - bumped after the start. Hampered first turn and forced wider becoming briefly unbalanced losing ground. Shifted in making contact rounding the bend. Bumped final bend.
Race 3	Trophies Plus Sprint - C2 - 318	ALLEGRO VEY (1) - slow away. Bumped first turn. TIDES RISING (2) - shifted out start making contact then bumped and dictated inwards. Contact for a distance first turn. TAMANTHA (3) - tightened and hampered start losing ground. Steadied off heels first turn. BIG TIME LAD (5) - collided start then tightened and hampered losing ground. Contact for a distance first turn losing ground. SMASH MISFIT (6) - bumped after the start. STONES (7) - bumped after the start. Tightened first turn shifting out off heels.
Race 4	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 318	FULL OF SECRETS (1) - tightened and checked first turn going back onto trailing runners. Inconvenienced rounding the bend. Shifted in off heels final straight. Jostled concluding stages. FORD MAN (2) - contact first turn. GINGER MASCARA (3) - shifted up the track back straight. Faltered rounding the bend giving ground quickly. Veterinary examination revealed torn right long head triceps with a 42 day stand down imposed. Will be required to trial prior to resuming.
