1). Kennel Representative Miss T MacMillan advised Stewards that BEST BALL(A Hart) had sustained a spike wound necessitating its scratching from todays meeting.

SOZIN'S PRINCESS (4) - shouldered with AMURI EARLY briefly through the early stages. AMURI EARLY (5) - shouldered with SOZIN'S PRINCESS briefly through the early stages. Awkwardly placed to the outside of HOMEBUSH SNOW entering the bend.
Race 2	ADDED ENERGY DASH - C1/2 - 390	SOZIN'S ROYAL (2) - slow early. HOMEBUSH STASSER (3) - shifted out off heels prior to entering the bend. HOMEBUSH HONEY (5) - shifted inwards across heels early stages.
Race 3	FIND US ON TWITTER@SGRCINFO - C1/2 - 457	BREE'S BELLA (3) - checked inwards off heels early stages. FRANK (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages when placed in restricted room losing ground as a consequence. TERRY'S TERROR (5) - raced in tight quarters early stages becoming awkwardly placed on the hindquarters of FRANK being terminally checked as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. SILOUETTE JET (6) - coursed wide in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH CARTER (7) - crowded exiting the bend.
Race 4	OTAGO GREYHOUND RACING CLUB SPRINT - C3 - 390	ROSEHIP (1) - weakened late in the run home. Referred to the Veterinarian as a precaution and cleared fit. VIGNON (3) - shouldered with AMURI LUCK on jumping. AMURI LUCK (4) - shouldered with VIGNON on jumping. Hampered entering the bend. IMPRESSIVE ISLA (5) - dictated down the track through the initial stages. Placed in restricted room approaching the bend. HOMEBUSH GAMBLER (6) - shifted down the track through the initial stages forcing inside runners down the track.
Race 5	[email protected] - C3/4 - 390	MASTER PORTHOS (2) - proved difficult to box. C'MON BENNY BOY (4) - jostled with HOMEBUSH SPARKLE early stages. Faltered and became awkward in its gait entering the bend. Continued to lose ground with the field thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. A warning was placed on the greyhounds performance. HOMEBUSH SPARKLE (5) - jostled with C'MON BENNY BOY early stages before being contacted from the outside by SOUTHERN KING. SOUTHERN KING (6) - crowded and forced down onto HOMEBUSH SPARKLE in the run to the bend. IMPRESSIVE SONIC (7) - shifted down the track through the initial stages placing pressure on inside runners. ROSE THORN (8) - boxed first.
Race 6	TOP CLASS RUN - C5 - 457	Nothing to report.
Race 7	ASCOT FRUIT MARKET - C5 - 390	AMURI FURY (1) - jostled with BUSTER'S BROTHER exiting the bend. YOUNG ROMEO (2) - raced in tight quarters early stages before having to check inwards of heels. BUSTER'S BROTHER (4) - jostled with ROMEO in the run to the bend. Jostled with AMURI FURY exiting the bend. ARAMOANA (6) - checked from behind entering the bend. AMURI ANDY (7) - slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing balance for a stride. Referred to the Veterinarian as a precaution and cleared of injury. MR FESTUS (8) - hampered and forced to course wide entering the bend. ROMEO (9/3) - boxed first. Jostled with BUSTER'S BROTHER in the run to the bend. Raced in restricted room approaching the bend losing ground.
Race 8	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 390	OPAWA STUBBORN (3) - turned inwards early stages when jostling with BALDRICK. IMPRESSIVE MARIO (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages losing ground. Shifted off heels rounding the bend. I'M A ARMADILLO (6) - squeezed for racing room early stages having it muzzle coming adrift from its nose and losing ground. Checked from the outside in the run to the bend losing further ground. Hindquarters raced on entering the bend being turned inwards and shifting up the track as a consequence losing its chance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. DOUBLE QUEENIE (7) - awkwardly placed on heels early stages checking inwards causing an inconvenience to I'M A ARMADILLO. Raced on the hindquarters of I'M A ARMADILLO entering the bend having to check off heels and lose all chance. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a slight pain to its left gracilis with a 14 day incapacitation issued.
Race 9	MARK TURNER PAINTER PH021737111 - C1 - 390	AMURI JOSIE (2) - came together with HOMEBUSH GRIMMEN on jumping. HOMEBUSH GRIMMEN (3) - came together with AMURI JOSIE on jumping. HOMEBUSH ZENA (5) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. SIR CLIVE (6) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend shifting marginally up the track and causing an inconvenience to EZRA BLUEBLOOD. HOMEBUSH FUDGE (7) - checked inwards across heels early stages. Held up for racing room rounding the bend checking off heels as a consequence. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (8) - inconvenienced and lost ground entering the bend.
Race 10	RACING AGAIN 28 JANUARY - C1 - 390	PRETY KEEN was a late scratching when found to be in season en route to the course. AMURI SPOT (4) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH RIVER in the run to the bend. Checked outwards off heels entering the home straight. HOMEBUSH RIVER (6) - shouldered with AMURI SPOT in the run to the bend. Lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend after being contacted by STIR FRY. STIR FRY (8) - slow early coursing wide through to the bend. Collided with HOMEBUSH RIVER entering the bend losing ground and becoming awkward in its gait. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. A warning was placed on the greyhounds performance.
