1). This meeting was closed to the public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid-19 Level 3 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

Adjudicative Committee Referrals:

1) L Cole - for presenting BIG TIME BANGER 2 kgs up from its last recorded weight, this being the kennels 5th breach within the 120 day reset period.

Satisfactory Trials Completed:

1) PORTELLI PUNK (K Lincoln-Papuni).

Fines:

1) M Gowan (ENGINE ROOM) - for failing to present this Greyhound for kenneling by the prescribed time.

Race 1	greyhoundtips.co.nz C0 - C0 - 410	BIG TIME LAD (1) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. Hampered entering the bend soon after he was checked and lost ground as BLUE COD angled in across his line. BLUE COD (2) - attempted to angle into the bend hampering runner to her inner. Soon after she angled in across the line of BIG TIME LAD checking this runner. FLASHBACK FRED (4) - angled outwards entering the bend checking MISS FISCHER and SHAKE A LEG. SHAKE A LEG (5) - bumped with MISS FISCHER racing from the start. Checked and pushed wide entering the bend. MISS FISCHER (7) - bumped with SHAKE A LEG racing from the start .Tightened and checked entering the bend.
Race 2	Speed Legend At Stud C0 - C0 - 457	ENGINE ROOM (2) - racing towards the bend she was tightened and jostled between runners for several strides. EDDIE EVEREST (3) - bumped and jostled entering the bend becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides as he came back off heels. He checked out across heels across the top bend and raced wide thereafter. HIGHVIEW SAMMY (6) - bumped and ran inwards racing from the start. Angled outwards nearing the bend racing wide around the bend. JOAN JET (7) - dictated inwards from the start bumping into HIGHVIEW SAMMY losing some momentum and ground.
Race 3	Total Bodyshop Supplies Distance C2 - C2d - 660	SPEED MACHINE (4) - hampered for several strides racing into the first turn when avoiding heels. FINE INTENTION (7) - ran wide into the back straight.
Race 4	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C1 - C1q - 410 Heat 1	CRISPY CHICKEN (2) - fav- fell pulling up to the lure and was referred to the vet and found to have slight triangle muscle injury with a five day stand down imposed. HIGHVIEW SPUD (4) - entering the bend he was severely crowded and galloped on from behind becoming unbalanced losing all chance thereafter. Referred to the vet and found to have small graze on left front foot and small laceration left hind foot with a 10 day stand down imposed. HOMEBUSH VASSY (6) - tightened inwards entering the bend being contacted and unbalanced losing ground. SHOT OF CLASS (7) - entering the bend he was severely tightened going back onto the heels and hind of HIGHVIEW SPUD becoming unbalanced losing all chance. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. DEFER FIRE (8) - angled across entering the bend causing severe crowding to several runners to his inner.
Race 5	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1q - 410 Heat 2	BIG TIME MASON (1) - fav- only began fairly. In the run towards the bend he was bumped going in making contact with the rail. A few strides on he contacted the rail again dropping out to the rear finishing in last placing at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. BIG TIME HARRY (5) - checked in the run towards the bend and went inwards bumping into BIG TIME MASON, a couple of strides on he was tightened in onto BIG TIME MASON . WIFI WILBUR (6) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. In the run to the bend he angled across the line of BIG TIME HARRY checking this runner, a couple of strides on he angled in again checking BIG TIME HARRY back in onto BIG TIME MASON. HERE'S HEMI (7) - came out across heels and lost ground entering the bend.
Race 6	Big Barrel Palmerston North C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	CUMBRIA LAD (2) - ran outwards from the start causing checks to several runners. WIFI BOLT (3) - racing from the start he was crowded between runners and checked back becoming unbalanced as he went in across heels. BIG TIME LEBRON (4) - racing from the start he was bumped and jostled between runner's and checked back losing momentum and ground to the rear racing wide across the top bend. BIGTIME COOPER (5) - fav- awkwardly away for a stride or so. He was then crowded being pushed out on to BIG TIME ANGEL. and went back from between runners settling in the midfield. BIG TIME ANGEL (6) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. he then came together with BIGTIME COOPER as this dog was pushed outwards. BIG TIME DOMINO (7) - began awkwardly and was slow into stride. BEES AND BIRDS (8) - forced to race wide into and around the bend.
Race 7	Allegro Gun At Stud C3/C4 - C3/4 - 410	RAPID FIRE (1) - hampered when tightened in the run across the top bend. POWER BOOM (2) - fav- dwelt at the jump and was slow into stride. Angled out to gain clear ground in the run to the bend where he then angled inwards catching heels stumbling losing momentum and ground. he was unable to improve to the line. Referred to the vet and was found to have bruising to the right lateral chest wall. A 5 day stand down recommended. ENTREE ONLY (3) - away well towards the lead. She was shouldered into the bend and lost momentum and ground back to the rear as BIG TIME VERSACE crossed her line. BIG TIME VERSACE (4) - angled inwards in the run towards the bend angling in onto ENTREE ONLY jostling this runner then crossed to the rail. BIG TIME GWYN (5) - tightened and jostled between runners for a few strides in the run across the top bend.
Race 8	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C1 - C1 - 457	HIGHVIEW ANNA (2) - soon after the start she came together with BIG TIME REHAN. BIG TIME REHAN (5) - soon after the start he came together with HIGHVIEW ANNA. SWEENEY TODD (7) - began awkwardly. Settled back being a clear last in the running. Made some ground in the latter stages to the line.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2/C3 - C2/3 - 410	BIG TIME SPOT (2) - came together and jostled for some strides with ALLEGRO KAIRO in the run into the home straight. ALLEGRO PEACHES (3) - returned to the wash bay with a laceration between toes left hind. A 10 day stand down was recommended. GAZZA'S GIRL (4) - soon after the start she came back from between runners angling out across heels to race widest into the bend. She made very good ground around runners thereafter to the line. MACHINE GUNN (5) - entering the bend he was crowded between runners and jostled for some strides coming back off heels losing momentum and ground. SUMMER GLEE (6) - crowded on the inner jostling with MACHINE GUNN for several strides into the bend. Contact and checked entering the home straight as ALLEGRO ZAC angled inwards. ALLEGRO KAIRO (7) - vying for the lead in the run into the home straight jostling with BIG TIME SPOT for some strides. ALLEGRO ZAC (8) - began awkwardly and was slow into stride. he settled back racing wide into and onto the top bend. he angled across towards the rail entering the home straight. Effort told in the latetr stages.
