Race 1	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C0 - 457	LUCAS JEWEL (3) - slow to jump. Shouldered with MABLE JEWEL in the run to the bend. Raced greenly rounding the bend. Stewards questioned the performance of this greyhound with kennel representative A Washington. Ms Washington advised that given this was the greyhounds first start she wasn't concerned with the effort and that the greyhound will derive benefit from the experience. MASTER ARAMIS (4) - jostled with CLAWS IN ROCKY in the run to the bend. MABLE JEWEL (5) - slow early. Shouldered with LUCAS JEWEL in the run to the bend. Raced greenly rounding the bend. Stewards questioned the performance of this greyhound with kennel representative A Washington. ADOBE BETTY (6) - dictated down the track in the run to the bend. CLAWS IN ROCKY (7) - jostled with MASTER ARAMIS in the run to the finish. RAIN AND SHINE (8) - dictated ADOBE BETTY down the track in the run to the bend.
Race 2	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 457	SPEEDY LUCY (2) - slow early. BREE'S BELLA (3) - raced on the hindquarters of GO JOHNNY GO in the run to the bend. Raced in restricted room entering the bend. GO JOHNNY GO (4) - hindquarters raced on in the run to the bend. LETHAL LETTIE (5) - coursed wide exiting the bend and through the run home. Referred to the Veterinarian as a precaution and cleared of injury. CLAWS IN COBRA (7) - hampered early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels exiting the bend losing momentum. VIGNON (8) - turned outwards early stages when shifting down the track.
Race 3	Mr Whippy Southland - C1 - 390	HOMEBUSH JET (2) - forced down the track early stages. YES BRO (3) - forced down the track early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend. AMURI EARLY (4) - forced inside runners down the track early stages. Checked off heels in the run to the finish. SPOT LU (5) - checked and lost ground in the run to the bend.
Race 4	FIND US ON TWITTER@SGRCINFO - C2/3 - 457	LONGSHANKS (3) - shouldered with MARVAHA BALE in the run to the bend. MARVAHA BALE (5) - jostled with CHARLOTTE LU on jumping. Checked inwards off heels in the run to the bend before shouldering with LONGSHANKS. Awkwardly positioned between runners entering the bend losing its balance and ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CHARLOTTE LU (6) - jostled with MARVAHA BALE on jumping.
Race 5	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C3 - 390	NASSOR (3) - shouldered with FIREBALL FUDGE on jumping. FIREBALL FUDGE (4) - shouldered with NASSOR on jumping before being checked when contacted from the outside. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (6) - shifted inwards early stages checking FIREBALL FUDGE.
Race 6	TOP CLASS RUN - C5 - 457	RIPSLINGER ROXY (4) - slow early before being crowded having to check off heels as a consequence.
Race 7	MARK TURNER PAINTER PH021737111 - C1/2 - 390	STIR FRY (1) - jostled with TIDAL TAPESTRY approaching the finish. TIDAL TAPESTRY (2) - jostled with STIR FRY approaching the finish. OVENS ANGLER (4) - contacted frm the outside by SILOUETTE JET. SILOUETTE JET (5) - crowded early stages losing ground and contacting OVENS ANGLER. SIR CLIVE (6) - crowded early stages losing ground. Placed in restricted room entering the bend falling to the track as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury with a precautionary 5 day stand down imposed. C'MON BENNY BOY (7) - checked by the falling SIR CLIVE entering the bend. SOUTHERN ANGEL (8) - faltered entering the bend becoming very awkward in its gait losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian with no abnormalities were found. Kennel Representative M Hamilton undertook to notify Stewards should anything become apparent in the coming days which would explain the action of the greyhound. .
Race 8	ADDED ENERGY SPRINT - C5 - 390	BUSTER'S BROTHER (1) - contacted from the outside in the run to the bend. EVER RESTED (2) - forced down onto BUSTER'S BROTHER in the run to the bend. BOLTY (3) - forced down the track onto EVER RESTED in the run to the bend. Hampered entering the bend. Checked off heels exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MITCHAM IVAN (4) - forced down onto BOLTY in the run to the bend TUCKER (7) - hampered entering the bend. Checked from behind exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH FANTA (8) - coursed wide in the run through to the bend. Hampered entering the bend.
Race 9	GORE TOWN & COUNTRY CLUB - C4/5 - 390	MONTY MAD HAMMER (1) - crowded and lost ground entering the bend. SEVE (2) - crowded and obligated to check off heels early stages. TIGGERLONG DEMON (3) - boxed first. Slow early checking off heels and losing ground. THUNDER HALLOWS (4) - crowded early. HOMEBUSH CAESAR (5) - shifted down the track early stages crowding inside runners. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend losing ground.
Race 10	GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C4 - 390	ST ANDREWS (3) - awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend losing ground. HENDRIX BALE (6) - slow and placed in restricted room on jumping. HOMEBUSH MONKEY (7) - raced on heels entering the bend.
