Wanganui GRC - 28 May 2021

1) Co-trainer G Frederickson advised Stewards that WIFI ROBYN, who had been requested for a veterinary examination which was not carried out due to a communication error, was showing no signs of injury.

Auckland GRC - 30 May 2021

1) Trainer L Cole re-presented BIG TIME ELSA who was a late scratching at this meeting with her being examined by the veterinarian at today's meeting and found to be free of injury with the stand down being rescinded.

General.

1) There were no weights recorded today due to the new scales being unable to be correctly calibrated prior to the start of kenneling.

FRECKLE (2) - moved up the track shortly after the start to race wide for the majority of the event. Bumped nearing the winning post. ADOBE BROOKE (4) - raced wide through the bend. BIG TIME BLITZ (5) - buffeted nearing the bend. AGENT ANNIE (6) - stood in the boxes, then voluntarily turned her head inwards without making muzzle contact. Settled several lengths last and raced wide at various stages. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain over distal gracilis. Not with standing that she has been stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue and to complete a satisfactory trial. EDISON (7) - slow away. FLASHBACK FRED (9/8) - slow away. Awkwardly placed behind runners on the point of the bend. Raced wide through the bend and early stages of the home straight. Bumped FRECKLE nearing the winning post.
Race 2	Greyhound As Pets C1 - C1 - 410	POP FLASH (1) - bumped at the start. Contacted ZERO TOLERANCE from behind entering the bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight. BIG TIME TED (2) - bumped POP FLASH at the start. LITTLE SCAMP (3) - moved up the track shortly after the start contacting SLAM IT. Jostled, briefly, with ADOBE GIRL nearing the bend before becoming slightly unbalanced and moving up the track entering the bend. BIG TIME SCOOTER (4) - slow away. Awkwardly placed behind runners entering the bend needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room. Raced wide through the home straight. ZERO TOLERANCE (5) - contacted from behind entering the bend, then buffeted by ADOBE GIRL losing ground and inconveniencing SLAM IT. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain over left quadriceps and thigh muscles. SLAM IT (6) - contacted shortly after the start, losing ground. Inconvenienced by ZERO TOLERANCE entering the bend. ADOBE GIRL (7) - boxed first. Jostled, briefly, with LITTLE SCAMP nearing the bend. Buffeted ZERO TOLERANCE entering the bend. Raced wide through the home straight.
Race 3	Affordable Pet Accesories C1 - C1 - 410	SUMMER GLEE (1) - boxed first. Bumped shortly after the start then buffeted HOMEBUSH SURGEON. HOMEBUSH SURGEON (2) - bumped at the start, then bumped SUMMER GLEE shortly after the start before being buffeted between runners and losing ground. Raced wide through the latter stages of the home straight. ADOBE SPINNER (3) - contacted at the start, then bumped HOMEBUSH SURGEON. Buffeted HOMEBUSH SURGEON shortly after the start. Contacted from behind on the point of the bend, losing ground. Checked across heels entering the home straight in an attempt to find clear racing room. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed general muscle pain. BIG TIME DIOR (4) - contacted ADOBE SPINNER at the start. Jostled with ALLEGRO PEACHES nearing the bend. Coursed wide through the bend and home straight. JUST LIKE LUCY (5) - began awkwardly. Moved up the track nearing the bend contacting PENNY MOWHAWK. Raced wide through the home straight. PENNY MOWHAWK (6) - contacted nearing the bend. Contacted ADOBE SPINNER from behind on the point of the bend. ALLEGRO PEACHES (7) - jostled with BIG TIME DIOR nearing the bend before eventually becoming unbalanced and losing ground entering the bend. FATHER LEO (8) - slow away.
Race 4	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 457	HERE'S HEMI (1) - bumped shortly after the start. Tightened nearing the bend needing the move across heels to gain clear racing room, contacting ADOBE TURTLE in the process. Raced wide through the latter stages of the bend and home straight. SWEENEY TODD (2) - slow away. Moved up the track shortly after the start and raced wide through the back straight. THRILLING OTIS (3) - dictated down the track shortly after the start in turn bumping HERE'S HEMI. Coursed wide entering the home straight. ADOBE TURTLE (4) - moved down the track dictating THRILLING OTIS down the track in the process. Crowded shortly after the start losing some momentum. Contacted nearing the bend. Moved up the track to race wide through the home straight. ARM TURNER (5) - crowded ADOBE TURTLE shortly after the start, becoming slightly unbalanced. Tightened HERE'S HEMI nearing the bend. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. GAZZA'S GIRL (6) - moved up the track shortly after the start to race wide through the back straight. Raced wide through the home straight.
Race 5	Big Barrel Palmerston North Distance C2 - C2d - 660	SILENT DISMISSAL (1) - brushed BIG TIME MAC nearing the first bend. Contacted BIG TIME MAC entering the first bend. BIG TIME MAC (2) - brushed SILENT DISMISSAL nearing the first bend. Contacted entering the first bend becoming very unbalanced and checking SPEED MACHINE. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. SPEED MACHINE (4) - placed in restricted room nearing the first bend, then checked entering the bend. Awkwardly placed behind runners entering the final bend when attempting to make ground. Raced wide through the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain over left gracilis. STAY CONNECTED (7) - slow away. Raced wide through the back straight. BRONSKI BEAT (8) - raced wide through the back straight.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457	BATTLE CRUISER (1) - jostled with BIG TIME FRANKIE shortly after the start, then again nearing the bend. Tightened entering the bend, becoming unbalanced checking and dragging BIG TIME FRANKIE and BIG TIME MASON. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME FRANKIE (3) - jostled with BATTLE CRUISER shortly after the start, then again nearing the bend. Tightened BATTLE CRUISER entering the bend, then checked, unbalanced and dragged down. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. XANTHONE (4) - coursed wide and lost ground nearing the home straight. BIG TIME MASON (6) - checked and dragged down entering the bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. ENTREE ONLY (7) - tightened entering the bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight. ALLEGRO PIPPA (8) - tightened ENTREE ONLY entering the bend.
Race 7	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	BIG TIME ODETTE (2) - bumped at the start. Tightened entering the bend, appearing to contact the rail. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME SETH (3) - bumped BIG TIME ODETTE at the start. Tightened nearing the bend, in turn tightened BIG TIME ODETTE and lost ground. BIGTIME BRODY (6) - began awkwardly, settling at the rear. RHODES WORTHY (7) - slow away, then bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME BRYNN (8) - bumped RHODES WORTHY shortly after the start. Tightened BIG TIME SETH nearing the bend when attempting to cross to the rail.
Race 8	Big Barrel Palmerston North C2/C3 - C2/3 - 410	FREEDOM LEAGUE (1) - jostled with BIG TIME BRADLEY shortly after the start. BIG TIME LEBRON (2) - tightened at the start. Tightened nearing the bend needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room and contacting SUB TWENTY THREE in the process. Raced wide through the early stages of the home straight. SCREAMING VIKING (3) - tightened at the start. Severely tightened nearing the home straight, falling as a consequence. Regained his feet and completed the event. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries however stood down pursuant with the fallen runner protocol. BIG TIME BRADLEY (4) - tightened inside runners at the start. Jostled with FREEDOM LEAGUE shortly after the start. Tightened BIG TIME LEBRON nearing the bend. Tightened entering the bend. Severely tightened SCREAMING VIKING nearing the home straight, becoming unbalanced and losing some ground in the process. SUB TWENTY THREE (6) - contacted nearing the bend. Inconvenienced by fallen runner nearing the home straight and forced wider on the track. ELECTRICAL STORM (7) - tightened shortly after the start needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room. BIG TIME TINA (8) - tightened ELECTRICAL STORM shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend, in turn tightening MACHINE GUNN. Raced wide through the home straight. WIFI BOLT (5) - squeezed BIG TIME NALA at the start, then received a bump. Raced very wide through the home straight. BIG TIME NALA (6) - squeezed between runners at the start, losing ground. Contacted BIG TIME DOMINO from behind entering the bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME DOMINO (7) - squeezed BIG TIME NALA at the start then bumped WIFI BOLT. Buffeted nearing the bend, then contacted from behind entering the bend losing ground. Coursed wide momentarily through the latter stages of the bend.
