Race 2	Farmlands CopRice Sprint - C1 - 375	WHEELS ON FIRE (2) - bumped concluding stages. OPAWA ROY (3) - bumped start. Tightened between runners first turn losing ground and shifting out off heels. WAITERIMU RIPPER (4) - bumped start. RUBY EXPRESS (5) - contact start losing ground. Collided first turn losing ground. HOUSE SURGEON (6) - shifted in start contacting hindquarters losing ground. Tightened first turn losing ground going back onto MISS HONEY. Contact entering the final straight. BOBBLE (3) - steadied off heels first turn. FORD MAN (5) - inconvenienced first turn shifting wider. Contact several occasions entering the final straight. WOMAN NO CRY (6) - slow away. Inconvenienced first turn shifting wider. Bumped early in the final straight.
Race 4	Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C4/5 - 375	The track was inspected following this event including penetrometer readings and found to be consistent throughout. THRILLING MILO (2) - raced in restricted room for a distance rounding the bend shifting out across heels losing ground. OPAWA JAWS (3) - contact after the start. Jostled into the first turn. PEACH MELBA (4) - checked start losing ground. Tightened first turn shifting out off heels. THRILLING RAZOR (6) - tightened and hampered start losing ground. Shifted in first turn tightening PEACH MELBA then faltered. Veterinary examination revealed a fractured right hock. A splint was applied and will undergo further veterinary treatment with an 84 day stand down imposed. A solo trial will be required prior to resuming. OPAWA SLICK (7) - tightened and hampered start losing ground. THRILLING BAXTER (8) - angled in after the start making solid contact. Jostled into the first turn. Contacted from behind final bend.
