Judicial report:
The meeting was abandoned after the conclusion of race 5 due to persistent rain causing water to pool on several area's around the track down towards the rail.
The meeting was put back to allow the track staff to work on the problem.
The Track staff attempted remedial work which was not successful, after a thorough track inspection the Stewards concluded that the improvement needed to carry on was not sufficient to make the track safe.

Stand downs.

1). ZIPPING SCOOT (J & D Bell) - stood down for 3 months and to the completion of a satisfactory trial after failing to pursue the Lure (second offence).

Race 1	WELCOME TO HATRICK C0 - C0 - 305	ZIPPING SCOOT (5) - came out of the boxes awkwardly for a stride , then turned his head outwards when clear of runners, continued to angle extremely hard outwards causing severe interference to AL's LOADING, ALLEGRO GRACIE, and FLASHBACK FRED and continued outwards before angling inwards running into FLASHBACK FRED racing into the bend. He raced wide thereafter to the line. Assessed by the vet and was found to have an abrasion to upper medial thigh superficial but painful . ZIPPING SCOOT has been stood down for ( failing to pursue ) second offence 3 months stand down. AL'S LOADED (6) - severely hampered at the start being checked and tightened back to the rear. Tightened and checked into the bend. Racing towards the line she ran outwards colliding with FLASHBACK FRED. Assessed by the veterinarian and found to have pain in left front shoulder muscle. ALLEGRO GRACIE (7) - fav- severely checked tightened and almost fell racing from the start losing momentum settling back. Angled across coming together with AL'S LOADED racing into the bend. Contacted and checked racing onto the top bend. Assessed by the vet cleared of injury. FLASHBACK FRED (10/8) - contacted and checked racing from the start. Contacted again and checked racing into the bend. He was bumped nearing the line as AL's LOADED ran outwards.
Race 2	LASER PLUMBING C0 - C0 - 305	LOUDRED (2) - began awkwardly and was last into stride by several lengths. FRECKLE (3) - began awkwardly catching the hindquarters of KINETIC BOW racing off the mats and checking back. Hampered soon after as GOTCHA LARA crossed her line. Assessed by the vet and was found to have pain on rotation of right carpus. KINETIC BOW (4) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted. Caught between runners and jostled soon after the start. Checked into the bend when clipped from behind then bumped and ran wide onto around around the top bend. GOTCHA LARA (6) - soon after the start angled in across the line of FRECKLE. Checked racing into the bend when running onto the heels of KINETIC BOW and checked losing some momentum.
Race 3	LANCE GREEN ACCOUNTANT C0 - C0 - 520	BIG TIME BERT (1) - tightened and checked back racing into the first turn losing some ground. HARDCORE LISA (2) - severely tightened in the run into the first turn contacting the rail. Racing around towards the back straight she was forced to check abruptly out over heels losing ground back to the rear. Assessed by the vet and cleared of injury. BIG TIME CHASE (3) - dictated inwards racing from the start as BIG TIME REHAN angled across. BIG TIME REHAN (4) - angled across from the jump tightening runners to his inner, soon after he was tightened dictated inwards ALLEGRO PEACHES (5) - angled inwards hard in the run to the first turn tightening severely in onto BIG TIME REHAN who was squeezed back onto HARDCORE LISA and BIG TIME CHASE. She was then tightened and checked as BIG TIME VERSACE was forced inwards. BIG TIME VERSACE (6) - angled across towards the lead and was tightened inwards entering the first turn. BIG TIME ADISON (7) - dictated across and tightened in on to and back off the hind of BIG TIME VERSACE entering the first turn.
Race 4	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	BIG TIME RICKY was a late scratching at pre race presentation on vets advice. SO SEVERE (2) - contact and jostled for a few strides in the run to the bend as TRUE TESTAMENT angled across. OPAWA MARCIE (4) - checked abruptly out across heels soon after the start, and continued to move ground on a couple more occasions, then dictated inwards into the bend. ALLEGRO BERKLEY (5) - fav- only fairly away was then bumped and checked catching heels becoming unbalanced running down towards the rail, then ran back outwards as they entered the bend. He settled towards the rear and wide finishing in the rear at the line .Assessed by the vet and cleared of injury. TRUE TESTAMENT (6) - angling across in the run to the bend contacting SO SEVERE and jostling for a few strides. IDOL ZIGGY (7) - angled across from the start bumping into ALLEGRO BERKLEY, he was then tightened and checked angling inwards into the bend dictating OPAWA MARCIE inwards.
Race 5	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C1 Ht2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	ALLEGRO VEY (1) - severely tightened and checked into the bend making hard contact with the rail losing momentum and ground. Assessed by the vet and found to have superficial but painful abrasion to medial stifle joint left hind. SADOWSKI (2) - soon after the start she was bumped as BIG TIM TATUM angled across. Racing into the bend she was severely crowded for a couple of strides. IDOL REIGN (3) - crowded tightened and checked into the bend as MEXICAN CUTIE cut in across her line and was forced to check abruptly back to the rear. BIG TIME TATUM (4) - soon after the start he angled across onto SADOWSKI. Hampered in the run towards the home turn as IMPRESSIVE GIFT angled across . MEXICAN CUTIE (5) - angled across into the bend causing severe tightening to IDOL REIGN, SADOWSKI and ALLEGRO VEY. OPAWA VIOLET (6) - angled across in the run to the bend and was slightly hampered as she crossed the line of IMPRESSIVE GIFT. IMPRESSIVE GIFT (7) - angled across into the bend running onto the hind of OPAWA VIOLET coming back off her heels entering the bend.
