Wanganui GRC - 16 April 2021

1) Stewards followed up with trainer B Goldsack regarding CLANSMAN DOUGLAS when the requested veterinary examination was not carried out due to a communication error. Mr. Goldsack advised that CLANSMAN DOUGLAS was showing no signs of injury.

General:

1) No weights were recorded as there were discrepancies with the scales when tested by Stewards prior to the kenneling. The Club have informed Stewards that they will have technicians inspect and repair the scales prior to the next meeting.

Awkwardly placed on heels nearing the home straight becoming unbalanced and losing ground. BIG TIME BERT (4) - brushed ADOBE BROOKE at the start. Contacted from behind entering the bend. Contacted BIG TIME VERSACE entering the home straight. TUFF DYNAMO (6) - bumped at the start. Buffeted shortly after the start. BIG TIME CHASE (7) - bumped TUFF DYNAMO at the start. Buffeted TUFF DYNAMO shortly after the start. Bumped entering the bend. Contacted and unbalanced on the point of the bend losing ground. TUFF ADMIRAL (8) - began awkwardly. Awkwardly placed on heels on the point of the bend.

Crowded nearing the bend needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room. Raced wide through the home straight. UNCLE ALBERT (2) - squeezed between runners at the start losing ground. Contacted shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room, losing ground again. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME DORY (3) - squeezed UNCLE ALBERT at the start, becoming unbalanced and heavily contacting BIG TIME SCOOTER, then contacted UNCLE ALBERT shortly after the start. Tightened UNCLE ALBERT entering the bend. BIG TIME SCOOTER (5) - heavily contacted and unbalanced shortly after the start. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME DOMINO (6) - brushed GAZZA'S GIRL shortly after the start. JUST LIKE LUCY (7) - raced wide at various stages.
Race 3	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C2 - C2 - 457	JILLIBY JAC (1) - buffeted BIG TIME GINA shortly after the start. SILENT DISMISSAL (3) - tightened at the start, losing some ground. BIG TIME GINA (4) - began awkwardly, tightening SILENT DISMISSAL at the start. Buffeted JILLIBY JAC shortly after the start, losing ground as a result. Moved up the track to race wide through the back and home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME MASON (6) - bumped NANGAR RIDGE nearing the bend. Tightened entering the bend, losing some ground. NANGAR RIDGE (7) - bumped nearing the bend. Tightened BIG TIME MASON entering the bend.
