Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. EDISON (2) - dictated down the track early stages. Crowded I'M A ARMADILLO entering the bend. STIR FRY (3) - shifted down the track early stages forcing EDISON down the track. IMPRESSIVE SONIC (4) - racing line impeded early stages. ADOBE BETTY (5) - racing line impeded early stages. SILKY SKYLAR (7) - shifted down the track abruptly through the early stages impeding inside greyhounds.
Race 2	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C0 - 457	HOMEBUSH BRAVE (1) - checked off heels exiting the bend. JOYFUL TEARS (2) - collided with OPAWA NEVILLE soon after jumping. JAM PACKED (3) - slow to jump before checking off the heels of ADOBE SLICE. Bumped with BLACK MAVIS entering the bend. ADOBE SLICE (4) - checked from behind early stages losing ground. BLACK MAVIS (5) - collided with ADOBE FLAME early stages. Bumped with JAM PACKED entering the bend. ADOBE FLAME (6) - collided with BLACK MAVIS early stages. Checked entering the bend losing momentum. OPAWA NEVILLE (8) - collided with JOYFUL TEARS soon after jumping.
Race 3	HEDDON BUSH SPRINT - C3 - 390	TIGGERLONG DEMON (1) - crowded and obligated to check off heels entering the bend. BIG TIME DUSTY (3) - began awkwardly becoming unbalanced when leaving the mat and having its hindquarters contacted by REGAL VALIANT. Dictated down the track thereafter before being obligated to check off heels. REGAL VALIANT (5) - raced on the hindquarters of BIG TIME DUSTY leaving the mats. KAY'S LAST (7) - dictated down the track early stages. YOUNG ROMEO (8) - obliged inside greyhounds down the track through the early stages. KNOCKA KNOW HOW (9/6) - dictated down the track early stages. Lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend.
Race 4	FIND US ON TWITTER@SGRCINFO - C5 - 390	OPAWA OSCAR (1) - crowded and lost ground in the run to the bend. TUCKER (2) - crowded OPAWA OSCAR in the run to the bend. BUSTER'S BROTHER (4) - collided with TRICKY in the run to the bend. SAM AND SI (7) - collided with TRICKY on jumping. TRICKY (8) - collided with SAM AND SI on jumping before then colliding with BUSTER'S BROTHER.
Race 5	WOODEND STAKES - C2/3 - 457	YOUNG MASE (1) - crowded and had to check entering the bend losing ground. C'MON BENNY BOY (2) - crowded YOUNG MASE entering the bend. Checked rounding the bend losing balance for a stride. USAIN BALE (6) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing considerable ground. EPIC CRUZE (7) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the bend. KNOW ACCOUNT (8) - checked entering the bend effectively losing its chance.
Race 6	GORE TOWN & COUNTRY CLUB - C2 - 457	OPAWA STAR (2) - placed in restricted room and lost ground entering the bend. ZIPPING MARLIN (3) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Awkwardly positioned on heels approaching the bend before shouldering with PUNCH ON BUZZ. PUNCH ON BUZZ (4) - became unbalanced leaving the mats. Shouldered with ZIPPING MARLIN approaching the bend. NIGHTHAWK FANCY (5) - jostled with KNOW PRICE in the run to the bend. KNOW EGO (6) - shouldered with KNOW PRICE approaching the bend. KNOW PRICE (8) - jostled with NIGHTHAWK FANCY in the run to the bend. Shouldered with KNOW EGO approaching the bend.
Race 7	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C2 - 390	HOMEBUSH ARCHIE (1) - dictated down the track in the initial stages. Weakened considerably over the concluding stages. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Trainer J McInerney reported the greyhound does not appreciate the sprint distance at Ascot Park and will therefore not nominate the greyhound for this venue in future. HORSE RANGE GOLD (3) - shifted down the track in the initial stages forcing HOMEBUSH ARCHIE towards the rail. Shouldered with BEES ARE BUZZING approaching the bend. BEES ARE BUZZING (4) - shouldered with HORSE RANGE GOLD approaching the bend. KNOW SMOKEY (5) - slow early stages. DENARAU DELIGHT (8) - checked off heels and lost momentum entering the bend.
Race 8	Myross Bush Sprint - C3/4 - 390	MITCHAM SAM (1) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. AMURI BATMAN (2) - inconvenienced from the outside on jumping. Shouldered with HOMEBUSH BOOTS approaching the bend. REGAL JOCK (3) - checked when racing off the mat shifting down and inconveniencing AMURI BATMAN. HOMEBUSH BOOTS (4) - checked REGAL JOCK on jumping. Shouldered with AMURI BATMAN approaching the bend. PUNTERS BOLT (5) - squeezed for racing entering the bend losing ground.
Race 9	TISBURY DASH - C3/4 - 390	STARR BLUEBLOOD (1) - crowded and lost ground entering the bend. ANGRY JANE (4) - placed awkwardly between runners through the initial stages. Collided with SOUTHERN PHOENIX approaching the bend before being placed in restricted room and losing ground. AMURI MYSTIC (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages after being forced down the track. SOUTHERN PHOENIX (6) - dictated down the track early stages. Collided with ANGRY JANE approaching the bend. Race 13	Mr Whippy Southland - C2 - 390	TIDAL TAPESTRY (2) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend losing momentum. OPAWA PINK (3) - boxed first. Hindquarters raced on early stages when shifting up the track. Continued to shift up the track in the run to the bend colliding with MITCHAM KING. Jostled with this runner thereafter before forcing DIAMOND BILLY wide entering the bend. Coursed wide throughout the run home. HOMEBUSH SAYER (4) - raced on the hindquarters of OPAWA PINK early stages. DIAMOND BILLY (6) - obligated to race wide entering the bend. MITCHAM KING (8) - contacted from the inside by OPAWA PINK in the run to the bend continuing to jostle with this runner for a period thereafter.

Race 15	C1 Oreti Beach Run Final - SPECAf - 457	OTHELLO ADOBE (3) - obligated to steady off heels entering the bend. MATERIAL MEG (7) - collided with TIDES END on jumping. TIDES END (8) - collided with MATERIAL MEG on jumping. Faltered and lost ground rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a triceps injury with a 28 day incapacitation issued.
Race 16	GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C2 - 390	KING KALI (3) - slow to jump. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. MITCHAM GOLDIE (5) - briefly shouldered with IYIAH JEWEL in the run to the bend. IYLAH JEWEL (7) - briefly shouldered with MITCHAM GOLDIE in the run to the bend. KIPJO (8) - began awkwardly.
Race 17	TONI@BODYAUDITSOUTH PH021657001 - C1 - 390	ARCHIE'S ALBA (2) - slow to jump. Checked entering the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH JEWEL (3) - jostled with ROSE THORN early stages placing this runner in restricted room. ROSE THORN (4) - placed in restricted room early stages and again approaching the bend. ZOLA BLACK (6) - jostled with ROSE THORN early stages placing this runner in restricted room. Turned outwards when awkwardly positioned to the outside of ROSE THORN approaching the bend. Lost ground when obligated to race in restricted room entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have left hind injury to its gluteal with a 28 day incapacitation issued BASHFUL BUFFY (7) - checked entering the bend losing ground.
Race 18	RACING AGAIN 9TH MAY - C1 - 390	MIGHTY MCCOOK (5) - turned inwards on jumping after placing SIR CLIVE in restricted room. SIR CLIVE (6) - placed in restricted room on jumping.
