Judicial report: GENERAL:

1) Stewards conducted checks on vehicles used for the purpose of transporting greyhounds to and from the race meeting today with compliance orders issued.
2) Several trainers notified Stewards that they had been held up en-route to the meeting due to unexpected roadworks between Wanganui and Palmerston North.

Race 2	Big Barrel Palmerston North C0 Final - C0f - 457	POWER BOOM was a late scratching prior to arriving on course at 10.07am. THRILLING OTIS (2) - squeezed between runners at the start. Buffeted FRECKLE shortly after the start. ADOBE BROOKE (3) - squeezed THRILLING OTIS at the start. Bumped THRILLING MAPLE nearing the bend and again entering the bend. Raced wide through the latter stages of the home straight. THRILLING MAPLE (8) - bumped nearing the bend and again entering the bend, losing ground. Raced very wide through the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. FRECKLE (9/1) - squeezed THRILLING OTIS at the start. Buffeted shortly after the start. Coursed wide through the bend and home straight.
Race 3	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 410	GEMMAS DILEMMA (1) - bumped MILO TONIGHT on the point of the bend, then squeezed MILO TONIGHT nearing the home straight. MITCHAM LIAM (2) - very slow away, settling several lengths last and unable to get into contention thereafter. MILO TONIGHT (4) - bumped on the point of the bend, then squeezed between runners nearing the home straight losing ground. Raced wide through the latter stages of the home straight. KIOSK (7) - began awkwardly.
Race 4	Total Bodyshop Supplies NZ Bred C1 - SPEC - 410	ALLEGRO PIPPA was a late scratching prior to arriving on course at 10.07am. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (1) - bumped TIGER CHURN entering the home straight. Jostled with TIGER CHURN early in the home straight, eventually tightening that runner. TIGER CHURN (3) - bumped entering the home straight. Jostled with SMOKIN' CHIMNEY early in the home straight, eventually being tightened and losing ground. LUCY LINGERS (5) - contacted nearing the home straight. WIFI INGA (7) - contacted LUCY LINGERS nearing the home straight. HOMEBUSH VASSY (8) - slow away.
Race 5	5K Guaranteed 1st Four All Races April 1st C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	BIG TIME HARRY (1) - buffeted shortly after the start becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Coursed wide entering the bend dictating ADOBE GIRL wider as a result. Raced very wide through the home straight. LITTLE SCAMP (2) - contacted from behind entering the home straight. HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF (3) - shifted up the track nearing the home straight, losing some ground as a result. ADOBE GIRL (4) - tightened shortly after the start, then buffeted BIG TIME HARRY, losing ground. Dictated wider entering the bend. ARM TURNER (5) - angled across the field at the start, then tightened ADOBE GIRL shortly after the start. BIG TIME LEBRON (6) - began awkwardly. Moved out across heels nearing the home straight becoming momentarily unbalanced entering the home straight. SO LIKE ME (7) - boxed first. Bumped at the start. Buffeted shortly after the start. Crowded entering the bend, losing some momentum. MYSTERY VIKING (8) - bumped SO LIKE ME at the start. Buffeted SO LIKE ME shortly after the start. Contacted LITTLE SCAMP entering the home straight.
Race 6	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C3 - C3 - 410	PENNY MOWHAWK (1) - bumped nearing the bend. Tightened entering the bend losing ground. SCREAMING VIKING (3) - bumped PENNY MOWHAWK nearing the bend, then tightened that runner entering the bend. RUNNING FREER (5) - contacted from behind entering the bend. FREE THINKER (6) - bumped at the start. Jostled with DAPPER RAPPER through the latter stages of the back straight before becoming unbalanced and contacting RUNNING FREER from behind entering the bend. Then dragged from behind and out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. DAPPER RAPPER (7) - bumped FREE THINKER at the start. Jostled with FREE THRINKER through the latter stages of the back straight, then dragged that runner from behind, losing ground and out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries.
Race 7	The City Of PN Golden Chase Here April 1st C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	ZAMAH (1) - moved up the track through the back straight. A precautionary post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. CLASSIC RAPPER (4) - began awkwardly. Wide through the home straight. SO EXCITED (5) - moved up the track to race wide entering the bend. WIFI BOLT (7) - coursed wide entering the home straight. LIFE IS GOOD (8) - began awkwardly. Coursed wide entering the home straight.
Race 8	Outback Trading Company C1 - C1 - 457	BIG TIME BRYNN (2) - bumped at the start. XANTHONE (3) - began awkwardly, bumping BIG TIME BRYNN. Moved up the track shortly after the start dictating HERE'S HEMI up the track. Unbalanced nearing the home straight, moving up the track and racing wider through the home straight. HERE'S HEMI (5) - dictated up the track by XANTHONE shortly after the start, then bumped ALLEGRO RUBY. ALLEGRO RUBY (6) - bumped shortly after the start. Contacted the rail nearing the home straight with a post race veterinary examination being carried out which revealed no injuries. SLAM IT (7) - tightened entering the bend losing ground. SHELLY POM (8) - slow away. Tightened SLAM IT entering the bend.
