RIPSTORM (J & D Fahey) fractured a hock when trialing after this meeting and will be required to complete a Satisfactory Trial prior to resuming.

Checked outwards off heels on bend making heavy contact with CITIZEN ZAGREB. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR WILLA (3) - ran inwards into bend contacting GREY WIND. KNOW BEAST (4) - contacted by outside runners into bend losing momentum and shifting up the track. Contacted by TREMONTI late in run home. Race 6	My Redeemer Distance - C0d - 645	VAN EVIE (1) - ran outwards early stages contacting RIEKO. NIGHTHAWK WISH (2) - lost ground entering back straight and remained at the rear. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. RIEKO (3) - contacted by VAN EVIE early stages. Tightened and checked outwards first turn. KNOW TALENT (4) - tightened early stages losing ground. SMASH DEVIL (5) - tightened by inside runners early stages then checked by OPAWA HARPER losing ground. OPAWA HARPER (6) - ran inwards early stages checking SMASH DEVIL. ADOBE NINJA (7) - pushed wide first turn.
Race 7	Beach Cafe & Wine Bar Sprint - C1 - 295	Trainer A Lee advised that DOROTHY BE GOOD was scratched from today's meeting due to being in season and has been retired from racing. HOMEBUSH FANTA (4) - ran very wide in back straight and final turn. KNOW KERATIC (6) - ran wide around bend. YANIRA BALE (7) - ran inwards into bend contacting HORSE RANGE OPAL. Ran wide around bend. Race 8	Hart Family Greyhound Racing Sprint - C4 - 295	MITCHAM BECKY (1) - tightened then ran outwards into bend contacting GOLDSTAR TROOPER and losing momentum. Pushed wide into bend. HOMEBUSH LIAM (2) - contacted and tightened into bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR JAY JAY (3) - tightened into bend losing ground. AMURI MAGIC (4) - pushed down track by SPICE SPICE BABY into bend. GOLDSTAR TROOPER (5) - contacted by MITCHAM BECKY into bend. SPICE SPICE BABY (6) - ran inwards into bend pushing AMURI MAGIC down track. Ran wide final turn.
Race 9	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C1 - 520	HUSTLE ACE (2) - ran wide first bend and home straight. GOLDSTAR JOURNEY (5) - slow in early stages then eased and ran off the track into first turn. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Stood down for 3 months and must complete a Satisfactory Trial. The connections advised that the bitch would be retired from racing. BEAU VIEW WINNIE (7) - ran wide back straight.
Race 10	Suck It Up Ltd Stakes - C2 - 520	CLARKE'S SARKI (2) - checked outwards off heels in run to first turn. Ran outwards first turn contacting TROUBLESOME KEV and was turned sideways continuing with its momentum and running wider. TROUBLESOME KEV (5) - contacted then pushed wide by CLARKE'S SARKI first turn losing ground. KNOW DENYING (6) - slow to jump.
Race 11	Waihemo Lodge Hotel Sprint - C2/3 - 295	CALM INFERNO (4) - contacted by BEES ARE BUZZING back straight. ALEXIA (5) - forced wide final turn. BEES ARE BUZZING (6) - contacted by GOTCHA TROY early stages. Ran inwards back straight contacting CALM INFERNO. GOTCHA TROY (7) - ran inwards early stages contacting BEES ARE BUZZING.
