1). LITTLE LEAF (N Green) - The J.C.A received a Review lodged by Mr N Green against a decision handed down by the Racing Integrity Unit Stewards at Auckland GRC's meeting on the 10th January 2021. The Stewards determined, under the provisions of Greyhound Racing New Zealand's Rule 55.1.b, that his greyhound ‘LITTLE LEAF’ had failed to pursue the lure and was subsequently suspended for 12 months and ordered to undergo a satisfactory trial prior to being nominated for any further races. At the hearing held today at Cambridge raceway the J.C.A, having viewed the replay vision and taking into account evidence tendered by Stewards and Mr Green, found that it was correct for the Stewards to form the opinion that the greyhound 'LITTLE LEAF' had failed to pursue the lure and the review was unsuccessful.

MONSOON MALABAR (5) - shouldered THEA WHO down the track in the run to the bend. HARDCORE KOBE (6) - hampered when racing in tight quarters entering the bend. Further hampered rounding the bend when obligated to race on heels. GET ME HOME (7) - slow early stages. THEA WHO (9/4) - shouldered down the track in the run to the bend before being obligated to race on heels and check losing ground. Jostled with RUBY EXPRESS rounding the bend losing momentum. Coursed wide run home.
Race 2	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C0 - 375	THRILLING BREEZE (2) - heels clipped rounding the bend before being dragged down losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have lameness to a hip support. PORTIA (3) - jostled briefly with DADDY DONNY early stages crowding THRILLING MILO as a consequence. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend when attempting to improve into a marginal gap. THRILLING MILO (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages before racing on the hindquarters of MIRKO. DADDY DONNY (5) - jostled with PORTIA briefly early stages crowding THRILLING MILO as a consequence. MIRKO (6) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Climbed on heels rounding the bend shifting up the track and colliding with TIDES RISING. TIDES RISING (7) - contacted from the inside exiting the bend. XENA POPPY (8) - coursed wide early stages Lost ground rounding the bend. Made ground up in the run to the finish. Precautionary Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Co -Trainer L Udy advised the bitch was best suited to a middle distance.
Race 3	Cookies Cafe Sprint - C2 - 375	PADDY FAST (1) - awkwardly placed between runners rounding the bend losing momentum. MEDUSA WHO (2) - crowded and had to check entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. ASCOTT (3) - shifted down to the rail in the initial stages after being slightly slow away. QUARA'S YOSHI (6) - crowded the racing room of MEDUSA WHO entering the bend.
Race 4	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C1/2 - 457	PEDRO LEE (5) - made entering the bend awkwardly. BAD BRO BAD (8) - coursed wide in the run to the bend.
Race 5	Farmlands CopRice Series Final - C1f - 375	FORD MAN (1) - raced on the hindquarters of THRILLING TUCKER exiting the bend. THRILLING TUCKER (3) - began awkwardly being slow early stages as a consequence. Positioned on heels entering the bend having to check. Crowded the racing room of SIROCCO rounding the bend being turned outwards as a consequence. Hindquarters raced on exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have injured quick on his left hind foot. SHAYANNA (5) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. MY BRO BOBBY (6) - contacted from the inside rounding the bend being forced up the track as a consequence. ALWAYS DREAMING (7) - came up with the lid and was slow away. SIROCCO (8) - heels clipped entering the bend. Crowded for racing room rounding the bend being obligated to check off heels and collide with MY BRO BOBBY.
Race 6	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C2/3 - 375	STAY RICH (2) - contacted from the outside early stages. Hindquarters raced on prior to the bend before being checked and losing ground entering the bend. PORTLAND ECKLUND (3) - forced down the track early stages colliding with STAY RICH as a consequence. Raced on the hindquarters of STAY RICH prior to the bend when placed in restricted room before being awkwardly placed to the outside of this runner losing ground. ENJOY THE PERKS (4) - slow to jump. Inconvenienced and lost ground entering the bend. ANTONIO (6) - placed in restricted room early stages. BUGSY BROWN (7) - referred to the Veterinarian with a split webbing which required sutures. WAITERIMU RIPPER (9/5) - came down the track early stages shouldering PORTLAND ECKLUND down onto STAY RICH.
Race 7	Farmlands Virkon Sprint - C4 - 375	HIGHLAND VINTAGE (2) - hampered early stages. ROD'S GIRL (3) - crowded early stages. Hampered and lost ground entering the bend. CALL ME LEO (4) - crowded early stages. TYPICAL (5) - came down the track early stages creating crowding to inside runners. PORTLAND BERTY (7) - came down the track early stages becoming awkwardly positioned on heels.
Race 8	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375	OUR HEMI (2) - jostled with NANGAR HURRICANE prior to the bend. NANGAR HURRICANE (6) - jostled with OUR HEMI prior to the bend. WILD KIWI (8) - coursed wide exiting the bend and through the run home.
Race 9	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 457	PICCOLO (3) - shouldered with the hindquarters of THRILLING MURPHY prior to the bend. Obligated to race wide rounding the bend. BEAU BEAU (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages losing its balance for a stride and losing ground. Shifted off heels rounding the bend forcing PICCOLO up the track. RIVALRIES (5) - raced on the hindquarters of BEAU BEAU early stages before being obligated to check outwards off heels. Hampered by THRILLING NEVE entering the bend. Checked off heels exiting the bend. THRILLING MURPHY (6) - hindquarters raced on prior to the bend. THRILLING NEVE (7) - raced on heels and lost ground entering the bend.
