Trainer R Casey advised Stewards that TAIERI BREEZE was found to have injured a metatarsal during this Race.

BOUND UP (7) - brushed rail final turn when well back. OPAWA STUBBORN (8) - ran inwards on bend contacting HOMEBUSH FANTA. Checked by HOMEBUSH FANTA home straight. PRINCELY CASH (2) - forced inwards by DYNA TREVOR late in run home. MULBERRY SOX (3) - last on jumping. CRYSTAL CANDY (4) - ran outwards on bend placing SMASH TRUST in restricted room. Pushed wide home straight. SEA SPRAY BERT (5) - raced wide home straight. SMASH TRUST (6) - placed in restricted room by CRYSTAL CANDY on bend. STANWYCK (7) - pushed wide on bend.
Race 4	Angler's Arms Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	PUNCH ON JESSIE (J McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling with a bruised gracilis. MAJOR STORM (6) - ran wide on bend losing ground hampering OPAWA COOPER for a stride. OPAWA COOPER (7) - hampered by MAJOR STORM for a stride on bend when that runner ran wide. TAIERI TERRA (8) - last on jumping.

Checked by GOLDSTAR LINDA leaving back straight losing ground. Ran outwards home straight. GOLDSTAR LINDA (5) - checked by HOMEBUSH CARTER early stages settling last. MUSTANG MEGAN (4) - contacted by outside runners into bend losing momentum. Contacted by DREAM RUNNER home straight. KING KALI (5) - leapt in the air at the start and settled a clear last. SMASH DRAGON (6) - tightened by MISS JUNE into bend losing ground. Checked and forced wide on bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR WHITEY (7) - forced wide on bend. MISS JUNE (8) - ran inwards into bend tightening inside runners. Forced wide on bend.
Race 8	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C2 - 295	M'LADY SADIE (2) - slow to jump. Ran wide home straight. SMASH SURPRISE (3) - ran wide final turn. ELITE BLUEBLOOD (5) - tightened into bend losing momentum. HOMEBUSH RIEKO (7) - slow in early stages.
Race 9	Beach Cafe & Wine Bar Stakes - C1 - 520	There was a short delay to this race due to extra grooming of the track being required. ADOBE GIRL (1) - ran wide final turn forcing SMASH DEVIL wider. SMASH DEVIL (2) - forced wide by ADOBE GIRL final turn. KNOW PRICE (4) - ran wide first bend. Hit rail at lure and referred to vet for assessment where it was found to have lacerations to a thigh and stifle requiring sutures. HOMEBUSH SAYER (6) - ran outwards first bend forcing OPAWA OLIVER wider. MULL OF KINTYRE (7) - contacted by OPAWA OLIVER into first bend losing ground. Raced very wide back straight. OPAWA OLIVER (8) - last to jump. Ran inwards into first bend contacting MULL OF KINTYRE. Forced wide by HOMEBUSH SAYER first bend.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 295	DIAMOND EMPRESS (2) - ran outwards final turn hampering GOLDSTAR DARWIN for a stride. BIG TINY (5) - had heels clipped into bend then checked outwards losing chance. SMASH ACHIEVER (6) - badly hampered into bend as BIG TINY lost ground losing chance. GOLDSTAR DARWIN (7) - hampered for a stride final turn as DIAMOND EMPRESS shifted outwards. KNOW TACTICS (8) - raced wide final turn. REGAL JOCK (9/3) - slow in early stages.
Race 11	Spectator's Bar & Bistro Dash - C2 - 295	BASHFUL BUFFY (1) - contacted by TWO BE FRANK final turn. KNOW PICK (2) - last to jump. GOLDSTAR HALSEY (3) - badly checked into bend as outside runners ran inwards faltering soon after and dropping away. Assessed by vet and found to have a fractured hock. HEAR THIS (5) - ran inwards into bend pushing inside runners down track. BELFAST DEMO (6) - ran wide final turn. BEES ARE BUZZING (7) - pushed wide by MITCHAM BECKY into bend. TWO BE FRANK (8) - ran inwards final turn contacting BASHFUL BUFFY. MITCHAM BECKY (10/4) - pushed down track by HEAR THIS into bend and checked GOLDSTAR HALSEY in consequence. Ran outwards soon after pushing BEES ARE BUZZING wider.
Race 12	RE-ENERGISE Sprint - C2 - 295	ZADEE BALE (1) - ran outwards final turn pushing SOZIN'S SYMPHONY wider. MOANY MALONEY (2) - raced wide final turn. CADILLAC MACK (3) - checked by GOLDSTAR REBEL back straight and fell. Assessed by vet and found to have a dew claw laceration. SOZIN'S SYMPHONY (4) - ran outwards early stages contacting YES YES NO. Checked outwards off heels back straight. Pushed wide by ZADEE BALE final turn becoming unbalanced. YES YES NO (5) - contacted by SOZIN'S SYMPHONY early stages losing ground then hampered by that runner in back straight dropping to rear. GOLDSTAR REBEL (6) - ran inwards back straight checking CADILLAC MACK which fell. HORSE RANGE OPAL (8) - ran very wide final turn.
