Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:

Wanganui GRC - 13 January 2021

1) Trainer M Flipp has advised Stewards that IDOL WILSON had x-rays taken and found to have a chipped stopper bone.

2). Co - trainer J Bell has advised that CARL SPACKLER had sustained a stopper bone injury at this meeting and has been retired.

JUDICIAL REPORT:

1) Co- trainer J Bell has informed Stewards that CAVATATE has been retired.

2) BIG TIME DORY was subjected to a post trial veterinary examination which revealed a skinned pad necessitating a 14 day stand down.

Tightened on the point of the final bend appearing to contact the rail, then checked across heels to gain clear racing room. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME BOOTS (3) - tightened entering the first bend needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room, bumping BIG TIME JARRED as a result. Coursed wide through the back straight, and again through the home straight. ALLEGRO PIPPA (6) - began awkwardly, then shifted up the track shortly after the start. Tightened BIG TIME BOOTS entering the first bend. Tightened ADOBE TURTLE on the point of the bend when attempting to move to the rail. BIG TIME JARRED (7) - began awkwardly. Bumped entering the first bend.
Race 2	AON CPF INSURANCE C1 - C1 - 305	TELLTALE SIGNS (1) - moved up the track shortly after the start, bumping THREE OF HEARTS. Coursed wide entering the bend, dictating the racing line of THREE OF HEARTS. THREE OF HEARTS (2) - bumped shortly after the start, then contacted GOLDSTAR MCQUEEN from behind. Had racing line dictated entering the bend and obliged to race wide as a result. GOLDSTAR MCQUEEN (4) - contacted from behind shortly after the start. MILO TONIGHT (5) - squeezed BIG TIME CHANELL throughout the back straight. BIG TIME CHANELL (6) - squeezed between runners throughout the back straight. HARDCORE KYLIE (7) - squeezed BIG TIME CHANELL throughout the back straight, becoming unbalanced entering the bend and losing ground. WIFI SOPHIE (8) - wide though the bend and home straight.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2 - C2 - 520	BIG TIME TOMMEY (2) - bumped shortly after the start. WIFI INGA (3) - bumped shortly after the start, then bumped BIG TIME TOMMEY. Tightened nearing the winning post on the first occasion, losing some ground. BIGTIME ARCHIE (4) - bumped shortly after the start, then bumped WIFI INGA. Tightened WIFI INGA nearing the winning post on the first occasion. COSSIE COOPER (5) - tightened shortly after the start, then bumped BIGTIME ARCHIE. BIGTIME AVA (6) - crowded at the start. BIG TIME FELIX (7) - tightened COSSIE COOPER shortly after the start. JILLIBY SOPHIA (8) - raced wide through the back straight.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	BIG TIME JONIE (1) - tightened entering the bend, needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room. LIFE IS GOOD (2) - began awkwardly. Contacted BIGTIME LEO entering the bend, then again on the point of the bend becoming unbalanced and moving up the track. BIGTIME LEO (3) - contacted entering the bend, then again on the point of the bend. Tightened ELUSIVE ALIBI nearing the home straight. FAST ANGEL (4) - bumped and contacted rail nearing the home straight, out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain to its right hind quadriceps. Trainer K Gommans advised Stewards that FAST ANGEL would no longer be persevered with from her kennels. ALLEGRO WILL (5) - slow away. Wide through the bend. Contacted ELUSIVE ALIBI entering the home straight. BIG TIME TINA (6) - placed in restricted room entering the bend, losing some ground. Bumped FAST ANGEL nearing the home straight. BIGTIME ZIGGY (7) - tightened BIG TIME JONIE entering the bend. ELUSIVE ALIBI (8) - placed BIG TIME TINA in restricted room entering the bend. Tightened nearing the home straight.
Race 5	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C2 - C2 - 305	CLIFF TOP ROSIE (2) - contacted from behind entering the bend. DOUBLE WHAT (4) - began awkwardly, bumping BIGTIME SAM at the start. BIGTIME SAM (5) - bumped at the start, becoming momentarily unbalanced and losing ground as a result. ALAMEIN PUDLY (6) - bumped BIGTIME SAM at the start. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. Clipped heels nearing the home straight, becoming unbalanced and stumbling. Tightened entering the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. ALAMEIN STRYDA (7) - contacted CLIFF TOP ROSIE from behind entering the bend, and bumped. BIG TIME QUEEN (8) - bumped ALAMEIN STRYDA entering the bend. Tightened ALAMEIN PUDLY entering the home straight.
Race 6	THE WINES HIMTANGI C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	BIG TIME TRAE (2) - tightened entering the first bend, needing to check off heels bumping BIG TIME AMBER as a result. Bumped BIG TIME AMBER on the point of the first bend. BIG TIME HARPER (3) - tightened BIG TIME TRAE entering the first bend. MY KHLOE (4) - moved up the track shortly after the start, contacting BIG TIME AMBER. BIG TIME AMBER (6) - bumped at the start. Contacted shortly after the start, then squeezed BIG TIME KOBE. Bumped entering the first bend. Bumped on the point of the first bend. BIG TIME KOBE (7) - began awkwardly, bumping BIG TIME AMBER. Squeezed between runners shortly after the start, losing ground. MOTHER'S TOUCH (2) - moved up the track shortly after the start, bumping IDOL LUCY. Raced wide for the majority of the event. IDOL LUCY (3) - contacted MY BENTLY at the start, then bumped shortly after the start. Bumped entering the home straight. OTIS (4) - slow away. Dictated wide nearing the home straight, then bumped IDOL LUCY entering the home straight. MY BENTLEY (5) - contacted at the start. Awkwardly placed entering the bend, losing some momentum. ALLEGRO VEY (6) - slow away. Contacted PORCELAIN PANDA nearing the home straight when improving to his inner. PORCELAIN PANDA (7) - bumped at the start. Jostled with CHECKPOINT through the back straight. Contacted nearing the home straight. Wide through the home straight. CHECKPOINT (8) - bumped PORCELAIN PANDA at the start. Jostled with PORCELAIN PANDA through the back straight.
Race 8	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	DAPPER RAPPER (3) - crowded nearing the first bend. CLASSIC RAPPER (4) - began awkwardly, then moved up the track bumping KONGS OUT AGAIN. Contacted from behind nearing the winning post on the final occasion. KONGS OUT AGAIN (5) - bumped, twice, shortly after the start, losing ground. BIG TIME MAPLE (6) - bumped at the start, then bumped KONGS OUT AGAIN. Buffeted nearing the first bend. SIMPLY SMOOTH (7) - bumped BIG TIME MAPLE at the start. Buffeted BIG TIME MAPLE nearing the first bend. BIG TIME BABY (8) - raced wide at various stages throughout.
Race 9	ACCELL LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY C4 - C4 - 305	WIFI BOLT (1) - buffeted shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend, needing to check off heels, bumping SEDGEBROOK SALLY as a result. ZAMAH (2) - slow away. Contacted SEDGEBROOK SALLY from behind, stumbling and almost falling. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries.. BIG TIME FLASH (3) - began awkwardly, then bumped and buffeted WIFI BOLT shortly after the start. Bumped SEDGEBROOK SALLY nearing the bend. SEDGEBROOK SALLY (4) - bumped at the start, then bumped BIG TIME FLASH shortly after the start. Bumped nearing the bend, then contacted from behind, stumbling, falling and severely checking OPAWA TROY entering the bend. Regained her feet and completed the event. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries, however stood down pursuant with the GRNZ fallen Greyhound protocol. SEDGEBROOK LOVER (5) - slow away. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. CRIMINAL JUSTICE (6) - angled across the field at the start, bumping SEDGEBROOK SALLY shortly after the start. OPAWA TROY (8) - severely checked by fallen runner entering the bend, falling as a result. Regained his feet and completed the event. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a suspected fractured left wrist with this being stabilized and painkillers administered. X- Rays will be taken in the coming days which Stewards will follow up.
Race 10	LASER PLUMBING C3 - C3 - 305	PRETTY BELINDA (1) - contacted from behind entering the home straight. OUR TYSON (2) - contacted DENUTO shortly after the start. Contacted entering the home straight, becoming momentarily unbalanced. KIOSK (3) - began awkwardly, bumping GOTCHA MURPHY and losing ground. GOTCHA MURPHY (4) - bumped at the start. Contacted from behind nearing the home straight, then contacted OUR TYSON entering the home straight, becoming very unbalanced and stumbling. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. DENUTO (6) - contacted shortly after the start. Contacted GOTCHA MURPHY from behind nearing the home straight. AHUROA PRINCESS (7) - angled across the field at the start. PAVING WAY (8) - raced wide throughout.
Race 11	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305	BIG TIME LEBRON (1) - began awkwardly. Tightened shortly after the start, checking off heels and squeezing BIGTIME STELLA. Bumped HIP HIP RAPPER nearing the bend. Contacted SO SEVERE entering the bend. BIG TIME DUSTY (2) - tightened BIG TIME LEBRON shortly after the start. BIGTIME STELLA (3) - began awkwardly, contacting HIP HOP RAPPER at the start. Squeezed between runners shortly after the start, losing ground. Bumped entering the bend when racing towards the rear of the field. HIP HOP RAPPER (4) - contacted at the start. Squeezed BIGTIME STELLA shortly after the start. Bumped nearing the bend.
