1). BORING (J & D Fahey) - application was made to Stewards to have the greyhound re-examined following a stand down from the Christchurch GRC's meeting on the 12th January 2021. This examination found the greyhound to be free of injury and the stand down imposed has been removed.

GOLDSTAR AVALON (7) - contacted by FIDGETY FEET and PENNY JANE early stages. FIDGETY FEET (8) - ran inwards early stages contacting GOLDSTAR AVALON. Contacted by inside runners into bend. Pushed wide on bend.
Race 2	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph.0272719588 Dash - C3 - 295	CITIZEN AGUERO (1) - ran outwards final bend. ST ANDREWS (2) - slow to jump. Jumped outwards off the heels of HEAR THIS on bend badly checking M'LADY SADIE and lost ground. M'LADY SADIE (3) - slow to jump. Contacted by TIGGERLONG DEMON into bend. Terminally checked and fell on bend when TIGGERLONG DEMON checked outwards. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Stood down for 5 days as a precaution. HEAR THIS (5) - had heels clipped by TIGGERLONG DEMON and ST ANDREWS on bend losing momentum. TIGGERLONG DEMON (7) - awkwardly away settling last. Ran inwards into bend contacting M'LADY SADIE. Checked off the heels of HEAR THIS on bend and ran outwards losing ground then further hampered as M'LADY SADIE was badly checked. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Balcairn Stockfoods & CopRice Dog Food Dash - C3 - 295	JINGILI JILL (1) - ran outwards into bend and was turned sideways when contacting outside runners. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. MEMOIR (2) - terminally tightened into bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. MITCHAM SAM (5) - tightened into bend then dragged down losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. HILTON JONESY (6) - ran inwards into bend tightening inside runners. Contacted by SMASH GRENADE for a stride early in run home. SMASH GRENADE (7) - had heels clipped by TAUNTING EYES early in run home then contacted HILTON JONESY for a stride. TAUNTING EYES (8) - checked off the heels of SMASH GRENADE early in run home. ZADEE BALE (10/3) - badly held up into bend losing momentum.
Race 4	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C5 - 295	HOMEBUSH BOOTS (J McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling when found to have symptoms of kennel cough. HOMEBUSH STASSER (2) - contacted by outside runners into bend. ARCHIE JOHN HILL (3) - brushed with STARBURST GEORGE early stages. STARBURST GEORGE (4) - ran inwards early stages brushing with ARCHIE JOHN HILL. Held up into bend losing momentum. OAKMONT (5) - raced wide final turn. WILDEBEEST (7) - raced wide around bend.
Race 5	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C3 - 520	NIGHTHAWK FRENZY (3) - slow to jump. Ran outwards in run to first bend then pushed very wide by MACADOODLE. MACADOODLE (5) - slow to jump. Contacted by KNOW KEEPER in run to first bend. Ran outwards first turn pushing NIGHTHAWK FRENZY wider. Clipped heels and fell after the line. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Stood down for 5 days as a precaution. KNOW KEEPER (6) - slow to jump. Ran inwards in run to first bend contacting MACADOODLE. Checked GOLDSTAR MAUNEY first bend. GOLDSTAR MAUNEY (7) - slow to jump. Checked from behind and turned sideways by KNOW KEEPER first bend losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
