Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: 1) Trainers M Flipp, C Morris and the Agent/Williams training partnership have advised that their Kennels have an outbreak of Kennel Cough. As a consequence to this all of their runners engaged in all race meetings have been scratched at the direction of GRNZ.

2) AHUROA PRINCESS (R Murray) completed a satisfactory trial as required.

3) Trainer B Goldsack was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice pursuant with Rule 47.1(c) in that he paraded LIGHT CRUISER to the start with the incorrect race rug on. A fine of $50 was imposed.

4) Kennel staff were reminded of what is required with regards to pre-race procedures.

5) OPAWA BUD (N Udy) is required to complete a satisfactory trial pursuant with Rule 55.5.

6) GEMMAS DILEMMA (J McInerney) is required to complete a satisfactory trial pursuant with Rule 55.5.

Awkwardly placed behind runners entering the bend, needing to check off heels and in doing so severely checked AHUROA LADY from behind. Out of contention thereafter. ALLEGRO GEMMA (6) - went up with the lids. Checked across heels nearing the home straight, contacting ENDLESS STYLE from behind in the process. TAIAPU (7) - slow away. AHUROA LADY (8) - began awkwardly, heavily contacting KINA MAGIC shortly after the start. Severely checked from behind entering the bend, falling as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain and swelling in right triceps and deltoid. ENDLESS STYLE (9/2) - contacted from behind nearing the home straight, losing some ground. Coursed wide entering the home straight.
Race 2	AON CPF INSURANCE C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	SIDELINE SALLY (1) - contacted ELITE BUBBLE from behind entering the home straight. ELITE BUBBLE (2) - began awkwardly. Contacted from behind entering the home straight. PRETTY BELINDA (3) - bumped shortly after the start. LIGHT CRUISER (6) - bumped PRETTY BELINDA shortly after the start. HOMEBUSH JENNIA (8) - began awkwardly.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	DENUTO (3) - began awkwardly. Tightened HOMEBUSH MAXI entering the bend. ELSA BLUEBLOOD (4) - raced wide through the home straight. DOTTIE BELL (8) - raced wide at various stages. HOMEBUSH MAXI (10/1) - tightened entering the bend, losing some ground. Out of contention thereafter.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	PUNCH ON RUBY (5) - began awkwardly. CARL SPACKLER (10/4) - moved up the track entering the bend, racing wide through the bend and home straight.

Race 6	FIRST SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305	GOTCHA MARSHALL (1) - began awkwardly. Tightened entering the bend, losing momentum and out of contention thereafter. VIKING ASH (2) - tightened GOTCHA MARSHALL entering the bend. FUNZALO (5) - awkwardly off the mats.
Race 7	ACCELL "LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY" C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	MYSTERY VIKING was a late scratching prior to kenneling. ALFIE DAMAN (2) - bumped MOTHER'S TOUCH entering the first bend, becoming momentarily unbalanced. Contacted from behind on the point of the first bend. Raced wide through the back straight. MOTHER'S TOUCH (3) - bumped entering the first bend, in turn contacted BIGTIME AVA. Raced through the back straight. Raced wide through the home straight, dictating the racing line of RACE ME HOME. ILLICIT (4) - contacted ZIPPING LUTHER nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend, needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room, heavily bumping ZIPPING LUTHER as a result. ZIPPING LUTHER (5) - contacted nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Contacted RACE ME HOME entering the first bend, then heavily bumped. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME ABBI (6) - raced wide through the back and home straights. RACE ME HOME (7) - contacted entering the first bend. Had racing line dictated through the home straight and obliged to race wide as a result. BIGTIME AVA (8) - contacted entering the first bend. Contacted ALFIE DAMAN from behind on the point of the first bend.
Race 8	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	SLAM IT (1) - crowded shortly after the start. Tightened nearing the bend. MITCHAM NIKORIMA (2) - bumped at the start. Tightened SLAM IT nearing the bend. PARADOX PRINCE (3) - began awkwardly, bumping MITCHAM NIKORIMA. Buffeted CLANSMAN DOUGLAS nearing the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (8) - checked over heels when moving towards the rail shortly after the start. Buffeted PARADOX PRINCE nearing the bend.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	LESLIE ALBERT (1) - bumped, then checked entering the bend and out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. GO LADYBIRD (3) - slow away. Bumped, then checked LESLIE ALBERT entering the bend when crossing towards the rail.
Race 10	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	SUMMER GLEE (1) - bumped and forced wide entering the home straight. HOMEBUSH VASSY (3) - bumped at the start. Tightened shortly after the start. CAVATATE (4) - bumped HOMEBUSH VASSY at the start, then unbalanced contacting MAINLINE LIL shortly after the start. Awkwardly placed on heels nearing the home straight when attempting to make ground along the rail. MAINLINE LIL (6) - contacted shortly after the start. EYE KNO (7) - angled across from the start, tightening HOMEBUSH VASSY. Unbalanced entering the home straight, bumping SUMMER GLEE.
Race 11	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C1 - C1 - 305	There was a short delay to the start of this race with the Judge unable to contact race day control. GOLDSTAR MCQUEEN (1) - began awkwardly. Tightened nearing the home straight needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room. Appeared awkward in his action through the latter stages of the home straight and after the winning post with a post race veterinary examination being carried out which revealed no injuries. DOUBLE WHAT (3) - tightened GOLDSTAR MCQUEEN nearing the home straight.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	OPAWA BUD (1) - eased free of interference on the point of the bend. Charged pursuant with Rule 55.1(b), Failing To Pursue, and subjected to a post race veterinary examination which revealed a wrist injury requiring a 21 day stand down. Not withstanding that she is required to complete a satisfactory trial. GEMMAS DILEMMA (2) - eased and turned her head towards OPAWA BUD on the point of the bend, free of interference. Charged pursuant with Rule 55.1(b), Failing To Pursue, and subjected to a post race veterinary examination which revealed an hock injury requiring a 21 day stand down. Not withstanding that she is required to complete a satisfactory trial. CLIFF TOP ROSIE (5) - contacted shortly after the start. YESENIA (6) - slow away. Contacted CLIFF TOP ROSIE shortly after the start.
