Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY:

1) Waikato GRC, 10 December 2020. Trainer P Ferguson re-presented SILENCI to the veterinarian on course at Manukau today and was found to have a biceps muscle injury. The stand down imposed on 10 December still stands.

JUDICIAL:

1) Trainers K Herbert and the Craik training partnership have advised that their Kennels have an outbreak of Kennel Cough. As a consequence to this all of their runners engaged in all race meetings have been scratched at the direction of GRNZ.

FLYING HUEY (3) - bumped at the start. Bumped ALLEGRO RORY on the point of the bend. Moved up the track entering the home straight, squeezing ALLEGRO RORY. ATTILA'S ARROW (4) - began awkwardly. Tightened RAILING RACCOON nearing the home straight. ALLEGRO PAYTON (5) - squeezed ALLEGRO RORY at the start. ALLEGRO RORY (6) - up 1.9 kg on previous race start (8 October). Squeezed between runners at the start. Bumped on the point of the bend. Squeezed between runners entering the home straight. MY SNUGGLES (9/8) - squeezed ALLEGRO RORY at the start. Obliged to race wide through the back straight. Squeezed ALLEGRO RORY entering the home straight.
Race 2	Jo's Wholesale & Sports Bar Taipa Tavern Sprint - C2 - 318	KURIDRANI (3) - bumped MY BRO BOBBY shortly after the start. Coursed wide through the home straight. MY BRO BOBBY (4) - bumped shortly after the start, in turn bumped BIGTIME THOR. RAINY RIVER (6) - bumped at the start. Buffeted BIGTIME THOR nearing the bend. BIGTIME THOR (7) - bumped RAINY RIVER at the start. Buffeted nearing the bend, becoming unbalanced and moving up the track.
Race 3	MPS Fencing Sprint - C1 - 318	BIGTIME BREMNER (3) - tightened entering the home straight. ALL DAY LONG (4) - bumped THRILLING GINA shortly after the start. THRILLING GINA (6) - bumped shortly after the start. Clipped heels entering the bend, becoming momentarily unbalanced. OPAWA ROY (8) - raced wide at various stages. OUR SCARLETT (9/2) - tightened BIGTIME BREMNER to her outside entering the home straight.
Race 4	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	OPAWA BIG (3) - was difficult to load. Buffeted OPAWA JADE through the first straight. Contacted from behind entering the first bend, then checked MARGAUX MARGAUX (4) - began awkwardly. Checked entering the first bend, losing ground as a result. Contacted from behind nearing the final bend, losing ground. Contacted BIG TIME DYNASTY from behind entering the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. INDI SHAE (5) - bumped at the start. Contacted entering the back straight. Contacted MARGAUX from behind nearing the final bend. Bumped BIG TIME DYNASTY nearing the home straight. MAX VOLUME (7) - began awkwardly, bumping INDI SHAE. BIG TIME DYNASTY (9/1) - contacted entering the first bend. Bumped nearing the home straight, losing some ground. Contacted from behind entering the home straight. OPAWA JADE (10/2) - buffeted through the first straight. Crowded entering the first bend, losing some momentum, then contacted OPAWA BIG from behind. Moved up the track entering the back straight, contacting INDI SHAE. Coursed wide through the home straight.
Race 5	Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C1/2 - 527	KEA VIKING (1) - contacted entering the back straight. Bumped nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Tightened entering the final bend. OPAWA GONZO (3) - bumped at the start. Tightened BOBBLE entering the home straight. NANGAR HURRICANE (4) - bumped OPAWA GONZO at the start. Bumped KEA VIKING nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Appeared awkward in his action in the final stages of the event and after the winning post with a post race veterinary examination being carried out which revealed no injuries. Trainer P Ferguson advised Stewards that it was his intention to give the dog a brief freshen up after backing up from Thursday, with today's race being only his second start in New Zealand. GO ANGEL (5) - tightened entering the first bend, needing to check across heels, bumping ELECTRIC SHOCK as a result. Raced wide through the back straight. DUNDEE SPECTRE (6) - tightened GO ANGEL entering the first bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out at the trainers request which revealed pain on left hip extension. ELECTRIC SHOCK (7) - bumped entering the first bend. BOBBLE (9/8) - contacted KEA VIKING entering the back straight. Tightened KEA VIKING entering the final bend.
Race 6	Mt Wellington TAB Sprint - C2 - 318	AUDRETTE (1) - moved up the track in the latter stages of the bend, dictating the running line of PLATINUM EARNER. OPAWA DONAL (2) - bumped THRILLING HUDSON, shortly after the start. Buffeted THRILLING HUDSON nearing the bend. Coursed wide through the home straight. BIG TIME LENNY (3) - awkwardly placed behind runners nearing the bend, needing to check across heels towards the rail to gain clear racing room. MOBILITY SCOOTER (5) - bumped THRILLING HUDSON shortly after the start. Bumped nearing the bend, becoming unbalance and losing ground. PARIS END (6) - contact at the start. Bumped MOBILITY SCOOTER nearing the bend. Contacted entering the bend. Tightened HILLBILLY BREWED nearing the home straight when racing towards the rear of the field. HILLBILLY BREWED (7) - contacted PARIS END at the start. Awkwardly placed behind runners entering the bend. Tightened nearing the home straight when racing towards the rear of the field. THRILLING HUDSON (9/4) - bumped by runners to his inner and outer shortly after the start. Buffeted nearing the bend. Unbalanced entering the bend, contacting PARIS END. PLATINUM EARNER (10/8) - dictated wide nearing the home straight, then angled across towards the rail when balanced entering the home straight.

Race 8	Qualified Pet Services Sprint - C4/5 - 318	MEDUSA WHO (4) - jostled with BELMONTS through the back straight. Bumped BELMONTS on the point of the bend. Moved up the track nearing the home straight, dictating the racing line of BELMONTS. BELMONTS (6) - jostled with MEDUSA WHO through the back straight. Bumped on the point of the bend. Dictated wider nearing the home straight. EXPRESS EMPORIUM (7) - raced wide at various stages throughout.
Race 9	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C3 - 318	BLOCKER (2) - checked from behind nearing the bend, being dragged down. Appeared awkward in her action thereafter with a post race veterinary examination being carried out which revealed sore adductors. BIGTIME CUTIE (3) - checked BLOCKER from behind nearing the bend. CHOO CHOO (5) - boxed first. Bumped at the start. FERNANDO CHARM (6) - bumped CHOO CHOO at the start. Buffeted OPAWA MAGIC through the latter stages of the back straight and into the bend. Becoming momentarily unbalanced and stumbling. NEXUS (8) - bumped entering the bend. OPAWA MAGIC (10/7) - buffeted through the latter stages of the back straight and into the bend. Bumped NEXUS entering the bend. Coursed wide through the home straight.
Race 10	Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C1 - 318	PLATINUM SPIRIT (1) - boxed first. STAY RICH (3) - buffeted nearing the bend. Tightened entering the bend, needing to check across heels, stumbling as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed sore pectoral muscles. TAMANTHA (4) - bumped at the start. Buffeted STAY RICH nearing the bend. Tightened STAY RICH entering the bend. JUST NIA (5) - bumped TAMANTHA at the start. Contacted from behind entering the bend, losing ground as a result. STARBURST ALBY (8) - contacted JUST NIA from behind nearing the bend. ALWAYS DREAMING (9/2) - slow away.
