Wanganui GRC - 2 December 2020:

1). BIG TIME EMMI (L Cole) - Stewards, after reviewing Race 3 of the above meeting have cancelled the Satisfactory Trial imposed on this greyhound under GRNZ Rule 38.9 and upgraded the charge to that of Failing to pursue the Lure under GRNZ Rule 55.1.b. As a consequence to this BIG TIME EMMI has been stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial.

Race 2	PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT C1 FEATURE No 2 - C1 - 520	BIG TIME PORSCHE (1) - tightened on the point of the final bend. Fell at the lure and was examined by the veterinarian as a precaution which revealed no injuries. GOLDSTAR HADLEE (2) - tightened BIG TIME PORSCHE on the point of the final bend. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the home straight, needing to check out to gain clear racing room. HUMBLING (3) - bumped ILLICIT entering the home straight when improving to the inner of that runner. MOTHER'S TOUCH (4) - raced wide at various stages throughout the event. BIG TIME FELIX (5) - tightened ODNOC ANKIE entering the home straight. Buffeted OCNOC ANKIE for several strides shortly after entering the home straight. ILLICIT (9/7) - tightened ODNOC ANKIE entering the first bend. Bumped entering the home straight. ODNOC ANKIE (10/6) - tightened entering the first bend, needing to check across heels as a result. Raced wide through the back straight. Tightened entering the home straight, then buffeted for several strides shortly after entering the home straight.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2 FEATURE - C2 - 520	DYNA VARSITY (1) - awkwardly placed behind runners entering the first bend. PENALTY DROP (2) - awkwardly placed behind runners nearing the first bend. Tightened nearing the back straight. BIG TIME ABBI (3) - checked entering the first bend, losing some ground. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. ALLEGRO PIPPA (5) - began awkwardly. Bumped shortly after the start. Appeared awkward in her action through the latter stages of the event. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. COSSIE COOPER (6) - bumped ALLEGRO PIPPA shortly after the start. SPEED MACHINE (8) - checked BIG TIME ABBI entering the first bend. Tightened PENALTY DROP nearing the back straight.

BIG TIME ODETTE (3) - tightened MYSTERY VIKING entering the first bend. MEANDERING (4) - bumped entering the first bend. Tightened nearing the home straight when racing towards the rear of the field. MURMUR (5) - tightened on the point of the first bend. Appeared unbalanced entering the back straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. MARVAHA BALE (7) - began awkwardly.

FAIRLY ABLE (4) - tightened at the start, losing some momentum. NOVA WILLOW (5) - tightened FAIRLY ABLE at the start. Contacted from behind shortly after the start. Bumped ALLEGRO TAMMY nearing the back straight. ALLEGRO TAMMY (6) - contacted from behind at the start. Contacted NOVA WILLOW from behind shortly after the start. Bumped nearing the back straight, losing some ground. Tightened entering the back straight. Raced wide through the back straight. MISS ADOBE (7) - began awkwardly, contacting ALLEGRO TAMMY from behind at the start. Tightened ALLEGRO TAMMY entering the back straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a fractured right hock which was stabilized. Will be required to complete a satisfactory trial. BIGTIME BAILEY (8) - contacted after the winning post on the first occasion, becoming unbalanced and losing ground.
Race 8	KAYANA, PROPERT BROKERS SPION ROSE CONSOLATION FEATURE C5 - C5 - 520	Stewards inspected the area of the track near the 645 boxes after KAMADA PARK, in the previous race, faltered free of interference sustaining a fractured hock and were satisfied the track was safe to continue racing. PRETTY BUSY (3) - heavily contacted BIG TIME FRANKIE entering the first bend. ZIPPING SARAH (5) - contacted from behind at the winning post on the first occasion. Was presented for a veterinary examination at the conclusion of the meeting at the handlers request and found to be lame in the right hock. BIG TIME FRANKIE (7) - contacted ZIPPING SARAH from behind at the winning post on the first occasion. Received heavy contact entering the first bend and fell. Regained his feet and completed the race. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries, however stood down pursuant with the GRNZ fallen Greyhound protocol.
Race 9	WANGANUI TOYOTA DASH FOR CASH CONSOLATION FEATURE C5 - C5 - 305	FRANKY THE JETT (1) - fell at the lure with a post race veterinary examination being carried out which revealed superficial grazes to right and left hock. LIFE IS GOOD (3) - bumped entering the bend becoming unbalanced and inconveniencing BIGTIME ZIGGY. DOOMSDAY (4) - bumped LIFE IS GOOD entering the bend. BIG TIME KEVIN (6) - slow away. BIGTIME ZIGGY (9/7) - inconvenienced entering the bend.
Race 10	Kayana, Property brokers Spion Rose (Group 1) F - C5f - 520	OZZIE (3) - contacted OUR RICK entering the first bend. Contacted entering the final bend. Buffeted ZIPPING SHELDON through the home straight. HE'S ALL SHINE (5) - awkwardly placed at the winning post on the first occasion. BIG TIME HARLEY (6) - checked off heels entering the first bend. BERET GIRL (7) - checked entering the first bend, losing a considerable amount of ground and out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a torn right gracilis. Required to complete a satisfactory trial. ZIPPING SHELDON (8) - contacted OZZIE entering the final bend.
