Wanganui GRC 30-10-2020 Cole kennels have reported that BIGTIME ROONIE has sustained a shoulder muscle injury after racing on the Friday night.

Judicial:

Trainer D Kettelwell applied to the Stewards to wear foot wear that does not comply with the GRNZ dress code due to Achilles problems just for today's meeting. This application was granted.

Checked out over heels onto the top bend and was clipped from behind. FIRECRACKER (3) - tightened and checked soon after the start. Ran onto heels and checked wide onto the top bend. ENGINE ROOM (4) - contact in the hind quarters and checked, catching heels racing onto the top bend. ALLEGRO GEMMA (5) - checked racing off the mats as CLIFF TOP ROSIE angled across CLIFF TOP ROSIE (6) - angled across from the jump running into the shoulder of ALLEGRO GEMMA. ALAMEIN BOB (7) - stood when the lids lifted and was last into stride by 7 lengths.
Race 2	AON CPF INSURANCE C2 - C2 - 305	IDOL WILSON (3) - improving towards the home turn when coming together with LUCKY SCAR bumping and jostling with this runner to the line. LUCKY SCAR (5) - racing towards the home turn came in onto the shoulder of IDOL WILSON bumping and jostling to the line. TUFF TEMPTRESS (6) - checked into the bend and ran wide as HOMEBUSH YURI cut in across his line HOMEBUSH YURI (8) - angled into the bend checking runner to her inner.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 520	RHODES WORTHY (3) - severely tightened between runners and checked back into the first turn. Severely checked when unable to avoid running onto heels losing momentum and ground was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. MYSTERY VIKING (4) - tightened and checked into the first turn then checked again losing ground into the far bend. BIGTIME ALFIE (6) - angled across into the first turn tightening several runners to his inner. BIG TIME ODETTE (7) - contact with OPAWA VIOLET on home turn. OPAWA VIOLET (8) - contact on the home turn as BIG TIME ODETTE angled inwards. RACE ME HOME (9/2) - racing towards the back straight he was hampered for a stride or so as RHODES WORTHY caught her hind quarters.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0D - C0d - 645	RICH LISTER (4) - dwelt and was last into stride. BIGTIME BENJI (5) - checked and pushed across towards heels losing some momentum. PENNY MOWHAWK (6) - checked and tightened between runners soon after the start catching heels losing momentum. DERRY BLUES (8) - angled across from the jump onto PENNY MOHAWK becoming unbalanced and stumbled slightly for a stride. Awkwardly placed on heels turning in, checked outwards as they straightened to the line.
Race 5	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C5 - C5 - 305	FREE THINKER (1) - checked and pushed inwards racing off the mats then attempted to angle outwards forcing BIG TIME BILLIE out across heels. BIG TIME BILLIE (2) - tightened back soon after the start was then pushed outwards as FREE THINKER angled outwards and came back off heels racing into the bend soon after was checked when catching heels losing momentum. BIGTIME LEO (3) - angled across from the jump tightening runners to his inner for a few strides.
Race 6	FIRST SECURITY C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	COSSIE COOPER (1) - bumped and jostled for some strides in the run to the first turn. Angled in on the home turn jostling with BIG TIME ROCKET for a few strides into the home straight. BIG TIME ROCKET (3) - fav- dwelt for a stride. Tightened between runners and checked entering the first turn. Hampered when tightened on the inner when improving into the home straight. WIFI INGA (4) - tightened between runners and checked entering the first turn. GO GLOW (9/6) - tightened nad stumbled for a stride entering the first turn as SPEED MACHINE angled across.
Race 7	ACCELL "LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY" C1 - C1 - 305	ALAMEIN SAM (2) - angled outwards from the jump then straightened. MY BENTLEY (3) - soon after the start was pushed outwards across the face of AHUROA WHIZZ. AHUROA WHIZZ (4) - pushed outwards soon after the start across heels losing momentum, dropping back to the rear. HARDCORE JET (6) - clipped from behind soon after the start. Ran onto heels on the top bend and was severely checked losing momentum and ground back to the rear and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain right fore deltoid & infraspinatus muscles. TELLTALE SIGNS (7) - tightened and jostled between runners soon after the start losing momentum and ground. CLIFF TOP MOLLY (8) - angled across from the jump across heels in onto TELLTALE SIGNS becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides. Ran into HARDCORE JET and went sideways on to the top bend.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 F - C1f - 305	OPAWA LACY (1) - attempted to angle off heels and was tightened and pushed sideways into the bend then pushed back inwards entering the bend. OTIS (2) - went up in the boxes and was awkwardly away off the mats. Was severely crowded into tight quarters and unbalanced entering the bend. SCREAMING VIKING (3) - dwelt and was slow away then angled outwards and back inwards catching heels and checking into the bend then forced to abruptly check and hurdle over BIG TIME TATUM entering the bend losing momentum and was referred to the vet and found to have pain in left hind gracilis. BIG TIME TATUM (6) - began awkwardly for a couple of strides. Angled across into the bend and was severely tightened and unbalanced going down on his haunches with following runner SCREAMING VIKING hurdling over this runners back with him losing momentum back to the rear and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. IMPRESSIVE MOOD (9/4) - handy when forced to come back off heels into the bend then contacted and checked racing on to the top bend.
Race 9	BOOK YOUR XMAS FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	CLASSIC RAPPER (1) - tightened and checked contacting the rail racing into the first turn losing ground and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. SIMPLY SMOOTH (2) - forced to check back off heels racing into the first turn. Was referred to the vet with no abnormalities found. DAPPER RAPPER (3) - tightened making contact with the rail entering the first turn then was forced to abruptly check out off heels running into NOVO OLLIE. Appeared to be uncomfortable in her galloping action in the run along the back straight and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in right front supraspinatus muscle. NOVO OLLIE (4) - was checked into the first turn and was bumped out onto BIG TIME TRAE losing momentum and ground back to the rear. BIG TIME TRAE (7) - racing into the first turn was bumped and pushed sideways for a couple of strides losing momentum and ground.
Race 10	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	FAST ANGEL (1) - tightened into contacting the rail entering the bend. Ran outwards into FUNZALO into the home straight and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right hind quadriceps & left hind calf muscles. ALLEGRO FERN (2) - severely crowded between runners and lost ground into the bend. FUNZALO (4) - in the run to the bend was dictated inwards being severely tightened losing ground back to the rear. He was bumped turning into the home straight. HIP HOP RAPPER (5) - angled across tightening several runners for some strides in the run to the bend.
Race 11	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C3 - C3 - 305	BIG TIME QUEEN (4) - severely crowded and tightened then contacted and fell into the bend. Recovered to her paws and was referred to the vet and was found to have muscle pain in multiple area's. IDOL DUKE (7) - caught heels running into the hind of BIG TIME QUEEN going over the top of this runner and falling. Recovered to his paws and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury stood down for 5 days as a precaution. ALLEGRO KYLE (8) - angled across entering the bend and was severely hampered and unbalanced when unable to avoid fallen runners. Recovered his balance and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right hind quadriceps muscle. SOZIN'S DELIGHT (9/5) - severely tightened and crowded between runners entering the bend losing some momentum and ground.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305	IDOL MEGHAN (5) - fav- raced wide throughout. PAVING WAY (6) - ran outwards from the jump across onto ARTICULATOR and BIG TIME BEAT. ARTICULATOR (7) - checked racing from the start losing his initial momentum. BIG TIME BEAT (8) - checked racing racing from the start losing her initial momentum.
