Race 8 - WATERLOO CUP

1). Trainer E Potts has advised Stewards that her greyhound GINNY WEASLEY had presented lame subsequent to the above mentioned event. X-Rays taken revealed the bitch to have a fractured front left carpal bone and would be spelled.

2) - Trainer E Potts advised THRILLING DORA would be retired from racing.

FORD MAN (2) - briefly contacted from behind back straight. Tightened first turn shifting out off heels. Inconvenienced rounding the bend. Jostled concluding stages. THRILLING GINA (3) - steadied when tightened start. Tightened making contact for a distance rounding the first turn becoming unbalanced losing ground. BIG TIME LENNY (4) - bumped start. Tightened making contact for a distance rounding the first turn becoming badly unbalanced losing considerable ground. Veterinary examination revealed a spike wound on top of left hind toes 3 and 4 with a 5 day stand down imposed. GO FALCON (5) - contact start then tightened losing ground. Checked rounding the first bend becoming unbalanced shifting wider losing ground. JUST NIA (6) - contact start then shifted in across heels.
