Track: Good The track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights

Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY:

1) Palmerston North GRC, 13 October, 2020. Stewards were advised by B Cole, representative for the L Cole kennel, that BIG TIME ANGEL (race 10 #7) had suffered a fracture to her right hind tibula and will be sent for a spell.
2) Wanganui GRC, 7 October, 2020. COCKNEY RIP OFF ( M Olden ) race 6 # 2 ( fell soon after the start ) reported to the Stewards that blood tests showed low calcium levels and some muscle damage.

JUDICIAL:

1) HOMEBUSH VASSY (race 8 #3) was a late scratching when being found to be sore prior to travelling to the track. She was presented to the on track vet on arrival.

2) SAHARA DREAM (race 11 #1) was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice.

3- J McInerney kennels have advised that NIPPA-A-SPOT a scratching in race 10 has been retired from racing.

4- Trainers G & S Fredrickson were issued with a warning for a non eligible nomination under 19.7.

Race 1	WELCOME TO HATRICK C0 - C0 - 305	WAITING GAME (3) - dwelt for a stride. Soon after she was bumped and checked going in across heels. KINETIC ANNA (4) - dwelt for a stride. She was soon tightened and checked between runners. HARDCORE BRUTE (6) - began awkwardly for a stride or so coming off the mats. He the angled across forcing HOMEBUSH LUTHER in onto heels. Racing into the bend he was forced back from behind runners checking off heels.
Race 2	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 305	ALLEGRO GEMMA (1) - went up with the lids. Settled handy on the inner and was bumped and unbalanced contacted the rail into the bend. She lost ground and ran on in the run to the line. She was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. SO LIKE ME (2) - fav- went up with the lids and was slow away. He angled out wide in the run towards the bend. She angled inwards entering the bend and was hampered as ALLEGRO GEMMA came out off the rail resulting in the following runner ALAMEIN BEAUDEN running onto her hindquarters almost dragging her down. She lost all chance finishing on to the lure and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. ALAMEIN BEAUDEN (8) - stood when the lids lifted and was slow away. He settled in the rear and ran onto the hindquarters of SO LIKE ME as this runner came back on him racing into the bend. He lost all chance thereafter finishing on to the lure and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	IDOL JAN (1) - racing handy towards the bend when severely tightened and checked back towards the rear. She was unable to make ground thereafter. MANIMAL (3) - severely tightened into the bend and forced back into the line of IDOL JAN. He lost momentum and ground was unable to get back into contention. SO SEVERE (4) - racing to the bend he was tightened and pressured inwards into the bend. He was able to keep his position in the running thereafter. ALLEGRO LINCOLN (5) - angled across onto SO SEVERE in the run to the bend. Was then forced across the line of this runner as YASAWA LIGHTS improved to his outer . YASAWA LIGHTS (6) - went up with the lids and was checked coming off the mats as SHREWDY ran into her hindquarters. He lost his initial momentum settling back and quickly improved wide around runners to the home turn. Effort told in the run to the line. SHREWDY (7) - ran in leaving the boxes catching the hind of YASAWA LIGHTS and checking. He settled in the rear racing wide into the bend finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 4	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	IDOL STEFFIE (3) - began awkwardly then angled outwards running into the shoulder of SIDELINE SALLY. She then angled back inwards losing ground into the bend. She made some ground in the run to the line. HASHTAG BLESSED (4) - was referred to the vet at the trainers request on returning to the wash bay. He was found to have a right hind gracilis muscle injury. SIDELINE SALLY (8) - bumped soon after the start as IDOL STEFFIE angled outwards. She was then bumped as DOTTIE BELL ran outwards. She angled across racing into the bend jostling with DOTTIE BELL and pressuring her in across the line of IDOL STEFFIE. She lost momentum and ground finishing towards the rear at the line. DOTTIE BELL (10/2) - racing from the start she angled outwards between runners running in to SIDELINE SALLY. She was jostled for some strides and pressured inwards across the line of IDOL STEFFIE into the bend and was unable to improve to the line. She was referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 5	FIRST SECURITY C1 F - C1f - 520	ROWDY RUBY fell in the run to the first turn with the field carrying on to the finish. ROWDY RUBY (4) - away to the lead in the early stages when she faltered and fell to the track. She was unable to recover to her paws and was taken off the track and referred on to the vet and was found to be semi-paralysed in both hind limbs. With the on track vet referring her on for x-rays . She must complete a trial in front of the Stewards and be vetted before being cleared to be nominated again. BIG TIME HARRY (7) - soon after the start came together with RACE ME HOME for a few strides. RACE ME HOME (8) - angled across soon after the start coming together and jostling with BIG TIME HARRY for a few strides.
Race 6	ACCELL LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY C1 - C1 - 305	ALAMEIN SAM (3) - ran outwards from the start tightening PORCELAIN PANDA out onto DILLER as this runner angled inwards. BIG TIME RICKY (5) - went up with the lids then caught heels and checked racing off the mats. DILLER (6) - racing from the start she angled across and came together with PORCELAIN PANDA as this runner was pushed outwards. She was then further hampered as PORCELAIN PANDA angled out across her line . SMALL BOY (10/8) - away well and ran inwards across the face of DILLER and in onto PORCELAI PANDA .He came back off heels losing ground to the rear and was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 7	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	WIFI SAPHIRE was a Club scratching due to an incorrect grading ( refer judicial ) LUCY LINGERS (1) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. THREE OF HEARTS (2) - racing to the bend she was racing in tight quarters when she was forced to abruptly check outwards racing extremely wide on to the top bend . She was unable to make ground thereafter. HOMEBUSH JENNIA (4) - soon after the start she was tightened back from between runners. racing to the home turn she was checked as ALAMEIN GRAEME angled inwards and she lost momentum and ground. ALAMEIN GRAEME (6) - began awkwardly. He then angled across into the bend severely tightening MIDNIGHT MOLLY and THREE OF HEARTS. On the home turn he angled in onto HOMEBUSH JENNIA and went sideways for a couple of strides and finished towards the rear at the line. MIDNIGHT MOLLY (9/3) - tightened into the bend when forced to abruptly check off out off heels racing extremely wide onto the top bend and was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 8	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH VASSY late scratching prior to loading to travel to the track. SAHARA PIPPA (4) - racing off he mats she abruptly ducked outwards and bumped into GOTCHA MURPHY. Then bumped with runner again before angling into the bend racing wide thereafter. NELLIE MARJEN (6) - racing from the start she was contacted in the hindquarters as GOTCHA MURPHY angled inwards. Recovered into stride to race handy into the bend and to the line. PARADOX PRINCE (7) - went up with the lids and was last away by 4 lengths. He was hampered for a stride or so into the bend then raced wide thereafter. GOTCHA MURPHY (8) - fav- angled across from the jump contacting the hindquarters of NELLIE MARJEN. Then bumped with SAHARA PIPPA a couple of times. He recovered good ground to the line.
Race 9	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C1 - C1 - 520	KING THEODEN (2) - racing into the first turn KING THEODEN angled out off heels pushing MYSTERY VIKING out across the line of TUFF KNIGHT. OPAWA DAWN (5) - vied for the lead into the first turn. She ran outwards losing her position to race widest into the back straight. Effort told when weakening in the run home. BIG TIME GOLDIE (6) - came back off heels into the first turn and was then checked and clipped heels and fell as TUFF KNIGHT angled in off heels. She recovered to her paws to finish onto the lure and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury, however stood down pursuant with the GRNZ fallen Greyhound protocol. ODNOC ANKIE (7) - dwelt at the jump. He then angled outwards being dictated widest around the first turn. He raced widest around the top bend and to the line. TUFF KNIGHT (8) - raced wide towards the first turn and was kept wide . he then was forced to change ground inwards off heels going in across the line of BIG TIME GOLDIE who caught his heels .
Race 10	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	MISS COWDREY (2) - attempted to angled outwards soon after the start. She bumped with MAINLINE LIL for a stride. Soon after she was forced to come back off hindquarters checking outwards abruptly onto MAINLINE LIL with both dogs racing extremely wide onto the top bend. She lost all chance thereafter. ZAMAH (7) - fav- very awkwardly away and was last into stride by 6 lengths. He made some ground along the inner then angled out across heels nearing the home turn. He finished back of midfield at the line. BIG TIME TATUM (8) - racing into the bend he angled in across the line of MISS COWDREY causing this runner to have to abruptly check outwards. MAINLINE LIL (10/4) - soon after the start she was bumped and jostled for a couple of strides. As she angled into the bend she was severely checked and forced extremely wide onto the top bend losing all chance thereafter.
Race 11	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	SCREAMING VIKING (4) - ran outwards onto CLANSMAN DOUGLAS racing from the start. Jostled into the bend made ground thereafter to the line. CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (5) - bumped with SCREAMING VIKING racing from the start. Angled across to the rail into the bend was unable to get into contention thereafter. BIG TIME MAY (6) - angled out across heels racing to the bend into the line of TIDDY CASH causing this runner to catch her heels. She ran wide into and around the bend making good ground to the line. TIDDY CASH (8) - dwelt and was slow away. Caught heels and stumbled for a stride racing into the bend. He lost momentum and ground and was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	COOL WOLF (2) - contact at the start as runners came across. Once in the clear she attempted to angle outwards running into SLAM IT. She came back off this runner losing momentum and ground and was unable to make ground to the line. SLAM IT (3) - tightened back from between runners racing from the boxes. Soon after he was hampered for some strides as COOL WOLF attempted to angle outwards. He settled back for some strides then made ground through the body of the field finishing in the midfield at the line. COLLECT A DREAM (4) - fav- dictated across from the jump and was bumped and jostled for a few strides in the early run to the bend. She settled handy on the outer and faltered on the top bend going back to the rear. She finished onto the lure and was referred to the vet and was found have suffered a near hind gracilis muscle injury. A 42 day stand down was recommended and the dog must complete a trial in front of the Stewards and a clear vet check before being eligible to be nominated . DYNA BRYLEIGH (5) - angled across from the jump forcing COLLECT A DREAM in across the line of runners to her inner.
