• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols for Level 2.

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

Christchurch GRC 25 August

Trainer G Cleeve advised Stewards that ABSENT and KNOW TALENT were both found to be suffering from strained hocks subsequent to their respective races on Tuesday.

Christchurch GRC 27 August

Trainer R Casey advised Stewards that TAIERI MIST fractured a hock when trialing yesterday and was euthanised in consequence.

JUDICIAL REPORT

VIKING MAFIA (J & D Fahey) fractured a hock when trialing prior to today's races.

Co-trainer K Taylor advised that this bitch has now been retired from racing. KING KALI (8) - very slow to jump. MARAKESH MAX (9/2) - contacted by THEROUX in back straight.
Race 2	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	GO GUNNA (2) - ran outwards back straight pushing SNEAKY SNITCH wider. Ran wide final bend pushing runners wide. SNEAKY SNITCH (3) - pushed outwards by GO GUNNA back straight. Ran outwards into bend checking CALL ME JOE and RING CLOWN. Contacted TAIERI BREEZE late in run home. JAX JEWEL (5) - pushed wide by GO GUNNA final bend. CALL ME JOE (6) - checked by SNEAKY SNITCH into bend losing ground. RING CLOWN (7) - checked by inside runners into bend. TAIERI BREEZE (8) - pushed wide final bend losing ground. Contacted by SNEAKY SNITCH late in run home.
Race 3	Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C2 - 520	ZIPPING BOSTON (2) - briefly tightened into first bend losing ground. Raced in restricted room and checked off heels when attempting to improve leaving the back straight. Pushed wide final turn. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH FONZIE (4) - slow to jump. GOLDSTAR VALE (5) - had heels clipped leaving back straight. Ran outwards final turn. ANGRY JANE (7) - slow to jump.

YI FENG (5) - contacted GOLDSTAR AVALON final bend HOMEBUSH RAPPER (6) - ran outwards on bend placing runners in restricted room. LAKOTA WICHAPI (7) - pushed wide final bend. Contacted OUR COOK home straight. OUR COOK (8) - pushed wide final bend. Contacted LAKOTA WICHAPI home straight.

Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.

Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. KNOW SHAME (4) - ran wide around bend. SMASH SURPRISE (6) - pushed wide around bend. PUNTERS LAST (7) - ran inwards into bend checking BLAZING BANJO and losing ground. TABBY (8) - ran wide around bend.
Race 7	Casswoods for Carpet Binding & Mats Stakes - C2 - 520	STUMPY BILL (1) - ran outwards early stages checking DYNA XARVEL. KEA VIKING (4) - tightened by ORINA ALLEN first bend losing ground. CREME BRULEE (5) - tightened and pushed wide first bend. Had heels clipped by DYNA XARVEL entering back straight. Ran wide back straight. ORINA ALLEN (6) - ran inwards first bend tightening KEA VIKING. SEDUCTIVE KIWI (7) - last on jumping. Pushed wide first bend. Assessed by vet and found to have lacerations to a leg. DYNA XARVEL (9/3) - checked by STUMPY BILL early stages dropping to rear. Checked outwards off heels of CREME BRULEE entering back straight.
