• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols for Level 2.

JUDICIAL REPORT:

PUNTERS DELIGHT (R Wales), which was stood down under Rule 56.1 on 14 August, was represented to the Vet and found to be free of injury. This dog was also swabbed.

GOTCHA POPEYE (7) - pushed down the track by MR MUPPET early stages contacting GOLDEN BAY in consequence. MR MUPPET (8) - ran inwards early stages pushing GOTCHA POPEYE down the track. Pushed very wide final bend.
Race 2	Culvie Boy's Syndicate Sprint - C4 - 295	MINE HUNTER (1) - slow to jump then ran very wide back straight. PLATINUM PAISLEY (2) - pushed down the track by FRIZZLED back straight. Ran wide home straight. HOMEBUSH AIMEE (3) - very slow to jump. FRIZZLED (4) - ran inwards back straight pushing PLATINUM PAISLEY down the track. SMASH WILD (6) - ran wide final bend. NO KISSY MISSY (7) - ran wide final bend. SQUILLIONAIRE (8) - raced wide around bend.
Race 3	Swimming Goat @ Stud Sprint - C4 - 295	ALEXIA (D Lane) was a late scratching mid morning when found to be in season. TREMONTI (4) - tightened into bend losing ground. MEGA DREAM (6) - tightened into bend losing ground. Checked outwards off heels final bend. GOLDSTAR MAJOR (7) - ran inwards into bend tightening inside runners.
Race 4	Suck It Up Ltd Stakes - C3 - 520	OPAWA HOP (2) - checked outwards off heels final bend checking QUEENA BALE then checked by KNOW DENYING losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. TROUBLESOME KEV (3) - had heels clipped by OPAWA HOP final bend. STYLISH STEPPER (4) - slow to jump. Ran outwards back straight. KNOW DENYING (5) - checked by OPAWA HOP final bend. QUEENA BALE (7) - checked and forced wide final bend by OPAWA HOP. HOMEBUSH FONZIE (8) - slow to jump. Pushed wide back straight.
Race 5	Kaisa Earthworks Ph 0272073323 Dash - C5 - 295	CULVIE NESS (3) - ran outwards into bend causing tightening to outside runners. HANKENSTEIN (4) - tightened by CULVIE NESS into bend losing ground. FAST ANGEL (6) - badly checked by inside runners into bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. MOHICAN RUN (7) - badly checked into bend losing chance.

KNOW STATE (2) - tightened into first bend losing ground. ALL CONSUMING (3) - contacted by OPAWA SLICK in run to first bend. DOUBLE SPEED (4) - last on jumping. Pushed wide into first bend losing ground. OPAWA SLICK (5) - contacted ALL CONSUMING in run to first bend. Tightened leaving back straight losing ground.

Race 11	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Sprint - C5 - 295	This race was delayed due to the lights in the home straight not functioning for a period after the previous event. The race was run in fog with limited vision available. The lure was slow in the early stages of the run to the start but from the available footage all dogs were afforded a fair start. EVER RESTED (1) - contacted by SUPER OVER DRAMA back straight. SUPER OVER DRAMA (2) - ran inwards back straight contacting EVER RESTED. STARBURST GEORGE (4) - slow to jump. Checked on bend losing ground. SPECIAL AS (5) - ran outwards back straight checking OUR DAZZEL and MITCHAM MAGIC with ARCHIE JOHN HILL being pushed wider OUR DAZZEL (6) - checked by SPECIAL AS in back straight losing ground. ARCHIE JOHN HILL (7) - pushed wide by SPECIAL AS in back straight. MITCHAM MAGIC (8) - checked by SPECIAL AS in back straight losing ground.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295	The lure driver drove from the inside of the track for this event due to the fog. Vision of this event was severely limited. FIDGETY FEET (3) - jostled with CALM INFERNO in back straight. CALM INFERNO (5) - jostled with FIDGETY FEET in back straight
