• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols for Level 2.

Checked outwards off heels of JAX JEWEL final bend. BALDRICK (4) - ran inwards into bend contacting YI FENG. OUR COOK (7) - contacted JAX JEWEL early stages. JAX JEWEL (8) - contacted by OUR COOK early stages. Had heels clipped by YI FENG final bend.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Robin Wales Dash - C3 - 295	OPAWA PHIL (1) - slow to jump. MAYBE RIGHT (3) - got on heels into bend losing ground. KNOW MAJORITY (4) - slow to jump. HOMEBUSH ARIANA (5) - dragged down for a stride into bend losing ground. RING CLOWN (7) - badly held up on bend losing momentum.
Race 3	Hart Family Greyhound Racing Sprint - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR WILLA (1) - last on jumping. Badly tightened into bend losing ground. TAIERI BREEZE (2) - badly tightened into bend losing ground. CALL ME JOE (3) - ran inwards into bend badly tightening inside runners then dragged down for a stride losing ground. CRYSTAL CANDY (4) - ran outwards back straight tightening outside runners. Ran very wide home straight. OHOKA LACEY (5) - tightened by CRYSTAL CANDY back straight. Held up into bend then raced wide. Ran wide final bend. PUNTERS KIRSTY (6) - tightened back straight.
Race 4	Casswoods for Carpet Binding & Mats Dash - C3 - 295	CRUSHINGTON (1) - held up into bend then ran wide. Again ran wide final bend. TEARAWAY TARA (3) - checked by LAKOTA KOHANA into bend losing ground. LAKOTA KOHANA (4) - contacted back straight then pushed down track into bend checking TEARAWAY TARA. HOMEBUSH REED (5) - contacted LAKOTA KOHANA early stages then pushed down the track into bend. MAJOR STORM (6) - ran wide final bend. KING KALI (7) - very slow to jump. START THE SHOW (8) - slow in early stages. Pushed wide into bend.
Race 5	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Sprint - C3/4 - 295	SMASH OVER (2) - awkwardly away early stages. MITCHAM BECKY (3) - ran wide final bend. SPECIAL AS (4) - ran wide final bend. PITA RAMOS (5) - ran wide around bend. KING TOLIMAN (6) - ran inwards off heels early stages. HOMEBUSH ALEXEI (7) - slow in early stages.
Race 6	Murray & Hannah @ Ray White 033715005 Dash - C2 - 295	MITCHAM BOULT (1) - ran outwards back straight contacting COME A GUSTER. COME A GUSTER (4) - contacted by MITCHAM BOULT back straight. BY GUM (5) - checked outwards off heels of OPAWA LACY on bend and contacted PRINCE ZULU dropping to a clear last. Assessed by vet and found to have triceps pain. OPAWA LACY (7) - slow in early stages. Contacted and pushed wide by HOMEBUSH POPPY on bend. PRINCE ZULU (8) - slow in early stages. Contacted by BY GUM and turned sideways on bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH POPPY (9/2) - ran outwards on bend and turned sideways when contacting OPAWA LACY.
Race 7	Beach Cafe & Wine Bar Dash - C3 - 295	MR MUPPET (2) - slow to jump then ran outwards contacting OPHIRA BALE. Held up into bend and ran outwards dictating runners wider. OPHIRA BALE (4) - contacted by MR MUPPET early stages. KNOW DEBT (5) - ran wide on bend. JINJA ELLIE (6) - dictated wide by MR MUPPET into bend. STARR BLUEBLOOD (7) - dropped out back straight finishing a distant last. Assessed by vet and found to have gastrocnemius pain. CURLY BILL (8) - ran wide into bend and again in home straight.
Race 8	greyhoundauctions.co.nz Stakes - C2 - 520	LITTLE SECRET (3) - badly tightened into first bend losing ground. ANGRY JANE (5) - checked by KEA VIKING first bend and ran wide losing ground. DYNA MONTY (6) - ran outwards early stages contacting MY ROSIE and losing ground. Ran wide first bend. MY ROSIE (7) - contacted by DYNA MONTY early stages losing ground. Ran very wide first bend. KEA VIKING (8) - ran inwards first bend checking ANGRY JANE.
Race 9	Suck It Up Ltd Sprint Final - C2f - 295	ULYSSA BALE (1) - ran wide final bend. GOTCHA POPEYE (2) - last on jumping. JACKIE (3) - raced wide final bend. PONTIAC PAT (4) - contacted by ZADEE BALE on bend. ZADEE BALE (5) - ran inwards on bend contacting PONTIAC PAT. JEALOUS AFFAIR (6) - faltered in back straight dropping to a clear last. Assessed by vet and found to have a torn gracilis with Trainer L Waretini advising that the dog wil be retired from racing. BASHFUL BUFFY (8) - checked outwards off heels final bend.
Race 10	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C2 - 520	GOLDSTAR WYNTER (2) - badly checked by DYNA XARVEL into first bend losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. DYNA XARVEL (3) - contacted in run to first bend then ran sharply inwards off heels checking GOLDSTAR WYNTER dropping to rear. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. CREME BRULEE (4) - checked by PUNTERS DELIGHT early stages. Checked in run to first bend losing ground. PUNTERS DELIGHT (5) - ran inwards early stages checking CREME BRULEE. Lost ground through the back straight dropping to rear. Assessed by vet and found to have wrist pain. OPALA BALE (6) - ran inwards in run to first bend tightening inside runners then contacted by ORINA ALLEN. Ran wide first bend. ORINA ALLEN (7) - ran inwards into first bend contacting OPALA BALE.
Race 11	Sandridge Hotel Sprint - C3/4 - 295	BLACK ROUNDER (2) - slow to jump. Tightened into bend and stumbled losing ground. AMURI MAGIC (4) - slow to jump. HOMEBUSH CAESAR (7) - slow to jump.
