Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:

Christchurch GRC - 6th July 2020. Stewards have concluded their inquires into the manner in which handler J McInerney Jnr boxed his Greyhound MITCHAM QUEEN. After taking further evidence from Mr McInerney, Starter Mr G McCormick and Handlers Ms L Waretini and Mr P Norris, which were handling greyhounds drawn to be boxed in the same line as MITCHAM QUEEN Stewards issued Mr McInerney with a charge under GRNZ Rule 62.1(o) in that he boxed his Greyhound in an improper manner by failing to do so at the instruction of Mr McCormick and as a consequence caused an undue delay in the lure driver being signalled to activate the lure. In taking this course of action Stewards were also mindful that Mr McInerney had been cautioned for the same indiscretion recently. Mr McInerney elected to plead not guilty to the change with this being referred to the JCA sine die.

GOLDEN BAY (7) - inconvenienced after fallen runner on track home turn. RAQUEL ALLEN (8) - checked from behind brought down fell home turn was referred to vet cleared on injury. A five day stand down is mandatory as GRNZ protocol.

DENARAU DELIGHT (4) - move out shortly after jumping contacting outside dogs. PRINCESS ROMAINE (6) - contacted first turn. OHOKA MEGAN (7) - shifted out on jumping. Pushed wide first turn by inside runner. Wide back straight. MITCHAM GREG (8) - galloped on from behind first turn.
Race 4	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C2 - 295	PARINGI PAM (1) - slow away. OPAWA PHIL (2) - jumped awkwardly. GOLDSTAR SPOTTY (5) - bumped into turn. PENNY JANE (7) - contacted by outside dog on jumping. Wide in run home. SMASH ACHIEVER (8) - jumped in contacting inside runner. MAFFRA DAISY (10/4) - contacted on jumping.

Race 8	Casswoods for Carpet Binding & Mats Dash - C2 - 295	OPAWA LACY (2) - pushed inwards shortly after jumping. BILLY RAY (3) - pushed inwards after jumping. SOZIN'S ASSASSIN (5) - ran in after jumping contacting inside runners. GOLDSTAR SHILOAH (7) - galloped on from behind home turn lost ground was referred to vet was found to have DREAM RUNNER (8) - ran up on heels home turn ran wide.

Pushed out first turn by inside dog. Changed ground off heels home turn. OPHIRA BALE (5) - slow away. BERET GIRL (6) - contacted after jumping. MISS ADOBE (7) - jumped inwards contacting inside runners. Forced wide first turn. RIPSLINGER ROXY (10/2) - wide back straight.

Was referred to the vet cleared of injury a mandatory five day stand down as per GRNZ policy.
