Weather: Showery
Track: Good After heavy rain prior to the meeting the track provided a good racing surface and was well maintained throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: 1- A track inspection was carried out by the Stewards prior to race one due heavy downpours with the track being assessed safe for racing and
was assessed as Slushy at the start of the programme and upgraded to Good later in the meeting as conditions improved

2- G & S Fredrickson applied to the Stewards for a re- examination of BIGTIME EMJAY stood down Wanganui greyhounds on 5-6-2020 the greyhound was not cleared by the vet original stand down stays.

Race 1 Welcome To Hatrick C1 Final - C1f - 520 BIGTIME DIESEL (2) - settled midfield on the inner tightened and forced to check back off heels racing in to the far bend losing momentum and ground was unable to improve to the line.
SLAM IT (3) - raced back of midfield wider out made good ground to the line.
EYE KNO (4) - led in to the first turn raced handy to the turn where he was jostled on a couple of occasions and in the latter stages of the run to the line.
OPAWA LARA (7) - settled midfield angled across the line of BIGTIME DIESEL in to the far bend racing in to the home straight bumped and jostled with runners either side of her to the line.
Race 2 Aon Insurance C3 - C3 - 305 BIGTIME JETTY (2) - in the run to the bend was bumped and jostled for some strides by pressure from her outer was able to clear these runners soon after .
ALLEGRO FERN (3) - in the run to the bend was tightened between runners and checked back in to the bend losing momentum and ground.
BIGTIME BANJO (4) - contacted and went sideways for a stride or so racing from the start checked again going sideways in to the bend was unable to improve thereafter.
COOKIE BISCUIT (5) - contact racing from the start ran in to FOOL'S RUSSIAN and checked in to the bend losing momentum running wide finishing in the rear at the line.
FOOL'S RUSSIAN (6) - soon after the start angled in across between runners catching heels then contacted and checked in to the bend losing ground and running wide
WATERLOO GIRL (7) - angled across in the run to the bend pressuring several runners to her inner for some strides.
Race 3 Wanganui Toyota C1/C2 - C1/2 - 520 COSSIE COOPER (3) - racing in very tight quarters in to the first turn improved along the inner to race up handy along the back straight had trouble clearing the heels of MY KHOLE in the run around the bend towards the home straight checked over heels on the home turn finished strongly to the line in the latter stages was tightened and fell soon after the line a veterinary examination found no abnormalities but the greyhound has been stood down for the mandatory 5 days after falling as per the policy.
BIG TIME DYNASTY (4) - led in to the first turn led to the home turn where he was jostled as MY KHOLE improved to his inner and weakened in the latter stages to the line.
BIG TIME ODETTE (8) - forced to race widest in to the first turn soon after angled down to the rail settling in the rear made good ground along the inner finishing strongly to the line in tight quarters.
Race 4 Hatrick Supporter's Club C3 - C3 - 305 DOUBLE WHAT (1) - went up with the lids settled back finished back of midfield at the line.
IDOL FANCY PANTS (5) - checked sharply from the start lost momentum was unable to get in to contention thereafter
SOFTY BURGESS (6) - fav- checked racing from the start settled in to midfield steadily made ground through the field finished best in the run to the line.
ALLEGRO ELLA (7) - checked abruptly racing from the start was forced to race widest in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter.
LIFE IS GOOD (8) - ran across sharply from the jump checking ALLEGRO ELLA, SOFTY BURGESS and IDOL FANCY PANTS ran wide in to the bend .
Race 5 First Security C2 - C2 - 305 WIFI ROBYN (2) - fav- dwelt slightly at the jump contact soon after and jostled going back to the bend raced widest there after covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing in the rear at the line.
OPAL NORA (3) - hampered for some strides as LIGHT CRUISER angled across towards the rail.
LIGHT CRUISER (4) - out best angled across on to the shoulder of OPAL NORA soon after crossed this runner over towards the rail led then run down on the line
LUCKY SCAR (5) - contact soon after the start and again in to the bend made some ground to the line.
NIPPA-A-SPOT (6) - racing to the bend was tightened and jostled between runners for some strides was unable to make ground there after.
BARBAROSSA BOY (7) - attempted to angle across in to the bend coming in on to NIPPA A SPOT and LUCKY SCAR and was hampered for some strides.
Race 6 Adept Accountants C2 - C2 - 305 BORN QUICK (2) - racing in tight quarters in the early stages and was hampered when attempting to push outwards in to the bend
CHILLI RAGNAR (3) - hampered for some strides in the run to the bend when pushed outwards checked in to the bend was unable to make ground there after.
BIGTIME SHEER (5) - fav - away well attempted to angle across and was jostled losing a length or so raced wide in to the bend was unable to improve from the midfield to the line.
CHOICE SISTER (6) - contacted in the hindquarters and pushed sideways racing in to the bend where she lost some momentum and ground.
SHAMROCK GREEN (9/8) - contacted the hindquarters of CHOICE SISTER and caused herself to be checked racing in to the bend .
Race 7 Accell Leading The Way In Canine Therapy C5 - C5 - 520 BIG TIME MAPLE (2) - contacted in the hindquarters racing in to the first turn losing a couple of lengths.
BIG TIME BABY (4) - ran on to heels racing in to the first turn and checked out on to BIGTIME SETH and BIG TIME BRIE losing ground and being jostled as he went back
BIGTIME ROD (5) - racing from the start bumped and jostled with BIG TIME SETH for some strides settled back in to the first turn made good ground there after.
BIG TIME SETH (6) - bumped and jostled with BIGTIME ROD for some strides in the run to the first turn was jostled again in the run to the back straight was able to improve when in clear racing room.
BIG TIME BRIE (7) - fav- dwelt slightly and was bumped coming off the mats checked in to the first turn racing wide bumped again soon after raced extremely wide in to the back straight lost ground in to the far bend finishing several lengths in the rear at the line a veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
Race 8 Book Your Table @ Hatrick C2 - C2 - 305 BELMONTS (4) - fav- chased the leaders to the home turn could not finish off in the run to the line.
TOKEN VIKKERS (5) - went up with the lids unable to clear heels in the early stages ran on to heels and checked back in to the bend losing momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention there after.
BIGTIME KATE (6) - checked soon after the start was unable to clear heels in to the bend losing ground was unable to improve there after.
Race 9 Palamountain's Scientific Nutrition C5 - C5 - 305 BIG TIME FAIRY (2) - began awkwardly for a stride settled midfield was unable to make ground there after a veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
BIG TIME FLASH (3) - went up with the lids and was last away by several lengths settled in the rear racing in to the bend becoming uncoordinated for several strides losing momentum and finished a margin in the rear at the line a veterinary examination found the greyhound to have suffered a serious eye injury and on reviewing the start of the race it appears the dogs left side of her face struck the side of the boxes .
ALLEGRO CURTIS (4) - pushed outwards in the early running contacted the hind quarters of BIG TIME PLUTO and was checked in to the bend then had trouble for a couple of strides clearing this runners heels and was unable to make ground there after.
Race 10 Kernow Construction C2/C3 - C2/3 - 520 SKINNY BINNY (5) - racing around the first turn angled in across the line of BIG TIME ANTON checking this runner and causing herself to be checked when forced to come back off the heels of BIGTIME DAISY losing several lengths and was unable to make ground there after.
BIGTIME BENJI (6) - hampered racing between runners and forced to check back off heels racing wide in to the first turn losing ground was unable to make ground.
BIG TIME ANTON (7) - stood when the lids lifted being last away by a couple of lengths settled back in to the first turn came back off heels soon after losing momentum and ground made some ground in to the midfield at the line.
GO GLOW (8) - was referred to the vet after an incident at the lure where no abnormalities were found.
Race 11 CPF Insurance C4 - C4 - 305 MISS POTENTIAL (4) - improving in to the home straight when hampered when coming together with BIGTIME BREMNER and was forced to change ground inwards over heels to gain clear racing ground for the run to the line.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE (5) - improving towards the home turn and came in on to BIGTIME BREMNER with both dogs jostling and bumping for some strides in to the home straight.
ALLEGRO LEXXI (6) - bumped and jostled with FUNZALO in the run to the bend raced widest there after covering some extra ground finishing in the midfield at the line.
SO SEVERE (7) - angled across in to the bend to improve and ran on to heels losing momentum and ground was unable to improve to the line.
FUNZALO (8) - in the run to the bend was jostled and unbalanced for a stride or so settled midfield was unable to make ground in the run to the line
BIGTIME BREMNER (9/3) - led out in to the bend jostled on the home turn when challenged for the lead and unbalanced losing momentum and was unable to finish off in the run to the line.
Race 12 See You @ Hatrick Next Week C4 - C4 - 305 ARTICULATOR (3) - went up with the lids settled back improved along the inner and was checked in to the bend losing ground was unable to improve there after.
IDOL DUKE (4) - dwelt at the jump ran outwards then angled inwards and was checked in to the bend was unable to make ground there after.
BEES AND BIRDS (5) - bumped inwards racing off the mats then angled outwards racing to the bend making good ground wide to the line.
SEDGEBROOK SALLY (6) - awkwardly away was then checked coming off he mats as BIGTIME LEO angled across sharply pushing across on to BEES AND BIRDS had trouble clearing heels for some strides in to the bend finishing in the midfield at the line.
BIGTIME LEO (7) - angled across sharply from the jump checking SEDGEBROOK SALLY to his inner soon after he angled inwards abruptly in to the bend across the line of IDOL DUKE and was contacted in the hindquarters losing ground finishing in the rear at the line.
