• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

JUDICIAL REPORT:

(1)Trainer R Wales was fined $100.00 after admitting a breach of Rule 45.11 after OPAWA DAWN weighed in 2 kgs under its last race weight on 18 May.

(2) Boss Cobra was a late scratching at kenneling (J&D Fahey)

ZOLA BLACK (4) - lay inwards on jumping contacting inside dog. Fell after the line. Assessed by vet cleared of injury with five day stand down as per GRNZ policy. OPAWA NASH (5) - shifted outwards home turn after pressure from inside runner. SEA SPRAY BERT (6) - knocked sideways after jumping by outside dog. EDISON (7) - slow away. HOMEBUSH MIST (8) - shifted in fast contacting inside runner on jumping.
Race 2	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH DREAM (2) - slow on jumping. Wide in run home. EDGE OF REASON (4) - moved inwards on jumping contacting inside runner. TAIERI MELLAY (5) - changed ground off heels home turn. MITCHAM EMMA (6) - contacted by outside dog on jumping lost ground. PASCALE JEWEL (7) - jumped in on jumping contacting inside runner. Pressured out of its gap home turn forced out. MARAKESH MAX (8) - moved in home turn.
Race 3	Casswoods for Carpet Binding & Mats Dash - C0 - 295	CANCUN (1) - ran out home turn to obtain a clear run. SWEET MARY ANN (3) - ran outwards on jumping contacting outside runners. Forced wide home turn by inside dog shifting out wide after that. CRYSTAL CINDI (4) - squeezed on jumping. HOMEBUSH SUSAN (5) - crushed between runners on jumping. Came together with other runner short of the line. Fel after line. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury with 5 day stand down as per GRNZ policy. PRINCELY CASTLE (6) - contacted by outside runner on jumping. Came together with outside dog home straight. TAIERI SNAPSHOT (7) - ran inwards on jumping contacting inside runner.
Race 4	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH KIAN (1) - slow away. WHITMAN (3) - badly checked top turn after being dragged down assessed by vet cleared of injury. DIAMOND DAZZLED (6) - slow on jumping. Badly checked home turn by inside runner lost all chance was referred to vet cleared of injury. TAIERI TAYLEE (8) - ran inwards top turn checking inside runner and dragged down was referred to the vet no abnormality found.
Race 5	Kaikanui Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA DAWN (2) - pressured out of its spot first turn checked outwards. SMASH ZONE (4) - slow on jumping. ANGRY JANE (5) - lay inwards first turn contacting inside dog. OHOKA MEGAN (7) - checked out of its gap first turn by inside dogs. OPAWA JADE (8) - checked first turn by inside dogs wide back straight.
Race 6	Swimming Goat @ Stud Sprint - C0 - 295	SWEET DREAMING (2) - checked off heels home turn checked from behind lost all chance. Was referred to vet cleared of injury. SMASH TRUST (5) - moved outwards contacting outside runners after jumping. Dragged down home turn lost all chances Referred to the vet cleared of injury. BEAU VIEW WINNIE (6) - squeezed between runners losing ground. Contacted home turn. Referred to the vet cleared of injury. IMPRESSIVE JAZZ (7) - clipped heels home straight. contacted home straight. MISS JUNE (8) - bumped into turn.
Race 7	Avonhead Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520	RIEKO (2) - jumped outwards. MAXIMUS SPEED (3) - off heels first turn shifted out contacting outside dog. OPAWA GYPSY (6) - heavily contacted first turn. PETIT PATE (7) - missed the jump tailed off.. COOL HAND LESTER (8) - off heels first turn.
Race 8	Suck It Up Ltd Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA SOLOMON (1) - checked between runners back straight lost ground. Referred to the vet cleared of any injury. PRINCESS ROMAINE (2) - stepped out wide first turn. Checked by shifting runner early back straight. ADOBE GIRL (3) - wide back straight. SPEEDY LUCY (7) - carted wide first turn. Shifted out to obtain a clear run early back straight.
Race 9	My Redeemer Distance - C0d - 645	BOSS COBRA (J & D Fahey) was a late scratching at kenneling with a bruised gracilis. LONGSHANKS (3) - wide home straight.. BARREL RUNNER (4) - tight between runners home straight first time. GOLDSTAR MONTANA (7) - wide first time round home straight.
Race 10	greyhoundauctions.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	OPAWA DONAL (2) - shifted out off runner home turn. Wide in home straight. HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN (4) - contacted early stages becoming unbalanced for a few strides. GOLDSTAR VALE (5) - tightened between runners early stages. PRINCE ZULU (6) - moved in slightly after jumping putting pressure on inside runners.
Race 11	Kaisa Earthworks Ph 0272073323 Dash - C1 - 295	YAPPY YAP (1) - moved outwards into turn from inside rail contacting outside dog. Moved out home turn contacting outside dog. PUNCH ON REX (3) - chopped between runners into turn. GOLDSTAR POWER (4) - changed ground into turn to avoid inside runner shifting out. TAIERI BREEZE (5) - knocked inwards on jumping. MOANY MALONEY (6) - squeezed on jumping by outside runner. Wide home turn stayed there. COLD AFFAIR (7) - moved in on the jump.
