• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

JUDICIAL REPORT:

1). AFRIDI (C Steele) - Trainer C Steele was fined $100 for producing his greyhound up 1.9kgs from its last recorded weight.

COLD AFFAIR (2) - made brief contact with DYNA ELLIOT in the run to the bend. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend. SMOOTH STEP (3) - slow to jump settling last. GOLDSTAR VALE (5) - slow early. MULBERRY SOX (7) - boxed first.
Race 2	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	OHOKA LACEY (1) - dictated down the track early stages. Placed on heels entering the bend. SHANLY STAR (2) - dictated down the track early stages. JINGILI JILL (6) - boxed first. Slow to jump. LAKOTA WICHAPI (8) - slightly hampered exiting the bend.
Race 3	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C1 - 295	MULBERRY ROCK (1) - boxed first. CASH NO STASH (2) - jostled with FAST ANGEL in the run to the bend. KNOW ANGEL (5) - awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend having to shorten stride. FAST ANGEL (6) - jostled with CASH NO STASH in the run to the bend.
Race 4	Kaisa Earthworks Ph 0272073323 Dash - C1 - 295	STYLISH STEPPER (1) - placed in tight quarters and lost ground entering the bend. HOMEBUSH ARIANA (2) - dragged down entering the bend after placing STYLISH STEPPER in restricted room. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MULBERRY BRIT (3) - terminally checked entering the bend. Refereed to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MITCHAM NIKORIMA (4) - brushed briefly with KNOCKA KNOW HOW early stages. Bumped from the outside by LAKOTA SCOUT prior to entering the bend. Checked and lost momentum by the falling KNOCKA KNOW HOW rounding the bend. KNOCKA KNOW HOW (5) - brushed briefly with MITCHAM NIKORIMA early stages. Checked outwards of the heels of HOMEBUSH ARIANA rounding the bend falling to the track as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. LAKOTA SCOUT (7) - bumped with MITCHAM NIKORIMA prior to the bend. Hampered rounding the bend and raced wide.
Race 5	Kaikanui Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	HOMEBUSH BARCLAY (1) - gave ground rounding the final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to be suffering from sesamoidities in its left fore 5th toe. BERET GIRL (4) - jostled briefly with KNOW ANXIETY in the run to the first bend before being placed in restricted room. OPAWA TRAVIS (5) - slow early. HAZE ADAMS (7) - awkwardly positioned on heels prior to the first bend. Became lodged under the rail at the lure. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. KNOW ANXIETY (9/6) - jostled briefly with BERET GIRL in the run to the first bend. Struck the rail heavily at the lure. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. OHOKA KATE (10/2) - boxed first.
Race 6	A2C Asphalt 2 Concrete Ph 0800222583 Dash - C1 - 295	HORSE RANGE GOLD (1) - turned inwards when awkwardly placed to the inside of AFRIDI early stages. AFRIDI (2) - bumped down the track and squeezed for racing room early stages. NIPPA ENOUGH (3) - bumped AFRIDI down the track early stages. GOLDSTAR HURLEY (4) - squeezed for room entering the bend losing momentum. IMPRESSIVE MOOD (7) - squeezed for room early stages. Again squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR MCQUEEN (8) - came down the track early stages placing pressure on IMPRESSIVE MOOD.
Race 7	Murray & Hannah @ Ray White Cashmere Stakes - C1 - 520	MEATLOAF (1) - pushed through a marginal gap entering the final bend checking MITCHAM RYDER. GOLDSTAR MONTANA (2) - jostled with OHOKA CARSEN in the run to the first bend. Raced wide out of the first bend bumping with JAY SHIRLEY jostling with this runner through the back straight. MITCHAM RYDER (4) - placed awkwardly on the heels of BIG TINY early stages being obligated to check as a consequence. Checked and lost momentum entering the final bend. JAY SHIRLEY (7) - bumped from the inside exiting the first bend by GOLDSTAR MONTANA jostling with this runner through the back straight. OHOKA CARSEN (9/3) - jostled with GOLDSTAR MONTANA in the run to the first bend.
Race 8	Avonhead Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	JUSTIN LINCOLN (1) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend running up the track. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a split behind its right front Dewclaw MULBERRY WILL (2) - shifted up the track early stages colliding with HOMEBUSH MANDY. Placed awkwardly on the heels of POORAN'S JADEJA shortly afterwards having to check. Jostled briefly with HOMEBUSH MANDY prior to the bend. DON'T CRY JONI (3) - slow early stages. Obligated to check off heels when in restricted room rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH MANDY (4) - placed in tight quarters early stages before bumping with BOUND UP. Jostled briefly with MULBERRY WILL shortly afterwards prior to the bend. GO LADYBIRD (7) - checked and raced wide rounding the bend. BATTY WHO (8) - boxed first.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C1 - 520	TOM FOX (2) - shifted up the track early stages colliding with LAKOTA MICCO and then SYDNEYS SOX. Raced wide into the back straight hampering the running line of SYDNEYS SOX. Again raced wide exiting the final bend brushing the hind quarters of SYDNEY SOX. HOMEBUSH FUDGE (4) - contacted from the inside early stages being obliged to check inwards. LAKOTA MICCO (5) - contacted from the inside by TOM FOX being placed in restricted room as a consequence and having to check. SYDNEYS SOX (6) - began awkwardly. Had racing line impeded exiting the back straight. Hind quarters brushed exiting the final bend.
Race 10	greyhoundauctions.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	HIGH SPARROW was a late scratching this morning when found to be suffering from diarrhoea upon retrieval from its kennel. KNOW FAREWELL (8) - slow early.
Race 11	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH RAPPER (2) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. EPIC OWEN (3) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. GOLDSTAR POWER (4) - hampered and lost ground when racing into the bend. TONKAWA (5) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. JINJA CREAM FIZZ (6) - squeezed for racing room and lost ground entering the bend. YANIRA BALE (8) - checked and lost ground entering the bend.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C1 - 295	SEA SPRAY ASH (2) - hampered and lost ground entering the bend. ANDREA SAID (3) - bumped from the outside and forced down the track early stages. Checked inwards off the heels of HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF exiting the bend making contact with YI FENG which had shifted up the track simultaneously. Jostled with this greyhound in the run to the finish.. GO GREAT (4) - forced down the track in into restricted room early stages. DAPPER DANNY (5) - forced down the track in into restricted room early stages. GOLDSTAR WHITEY (6) - forced down the track in into restricted room early stages. Again placed in restricted room prior to the bend having to check inwards. KNOW TACTICS (7) - came down the track early stages impeding inside runners. YI FENG (8) - shifted up the track bumping with ANDREA SAID exiting the bend. Jostled with this greyhound in the run to the finish.
