Weather: Fine
Track: Good New sand has been put on the track recently and raced well today providing a good racing surface throughout. All other equipment operated well throughout . 457 boxes ( refer judicial ).
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: All clear.

Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

• In accordance with GRNZ Rule 48.9(a), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

1- ZIPPING SARAH ( A Turnwald ) completed a satisfactory trial and is cleared to be nominated from the 15-5-2020 when her current stand down expires.

2- AKASHI BOY ( G & S Fredrickson ) faltered during a re- qualifying trial finishing on to the lure and was found to have suffered a gracilis muscle injury to the left hind a 28 day stand down was recommended.

3- BOYS GET PAID # 1 race 2 was up 1.6 kgs today from the last race weight on the 8-5-2020 Trainer a Turnwald did not admit to a breach of the weight rule 45.11 with the matter referred on to the J. C. A. for consideration.

4- YASAWA LIGHTS # 3 race 11 was difficult to box away today and held the start up with the handler needing help- when questioned after the race handler C Turnwald advised the Stewards that the dog was difficult today due to the time spent in the kennels pre- race and is normally fine when able to be kenneled later at meeting . His boxing will be monitored in the future.

5 - Race 9 was abandoned after the lids activated before the lure arrived . the field completed a circuit of the track around to the lure and were all subject to veterinary examination on returning to the kennel block. all dogs were cleared of injury.

6- An inquiry has been opened and adjourned in to the cause of the abandonment in race 9.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 410	PAVING WAY (1) - away well tightened and jostled in to the bend lost momentum and ground was unable to improve thereafter. WIT AND WISDOM (2) - handy racing to the bend was tightened catching heels losing momentum and ground was dictated widest across the top bend in to the home straight. BOOT CAMP TIARA (3) - bumped soon after the start then angled outwards was then dictated back inwards racing in to the bend settled handy couldn't make ground in the run to the line. RICH LISTER (5) - dwelt and was slow away settled back made up some ground along the inner finishing on in the latter stages. WIFI WILBUR (6) - angled across in behind soon after the start tightening runners to his inner soon after was clipped from behind losing some ground racing on to the top bend. ALLEGRO RORY (7) - fav- angled across in the run to the bend tightening runners to his inner.
Race 2	Affordable Pet Accesories C2 - C2 - 410	CAVATATE (3) - tightened between runners and checked back towards the rear in the run to the bend VIBE (5) - tightened between runners being jostled and unbalanced for a couple of strides in to the bend was unable to improve thereafter. GRAY BALE (6) - caught between runners and checked back in the run to the bend losing momentum and ground back to the rear. PARIS END (8) - angled across in the run to the bend coming together with and jostling runners to his inner for several strides losing ground was unable to improve thereafter.
Race 3	Creative Catering C3 - C3 - 410	ALLEGRO LANIE (2) - raced wide through the home straight. BIGTIME KATE (3) - brushed BIG TIME LEBRON shortly after the start. TUFF TEMPTRESS (5) - raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME LEBRON (6) - began awkwardly. Brushed BIGTIME KATE shortly after the start. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. BIG TIME FAIRY (7) - raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME TRAE (8) - raced wide through the home straight.
Race 4	J P Print, Petone C4 - C4 - 410	BIGTIME CUTIE (1) - bumped shortly after the start. Bumped and tightened nearing the bend appearing to the contact the rail. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no abnormalities. BEES AND BIRDS (2) - tightened at the start. Tightened entering the bend, needing to check off heels and losing momentum as a result. Raced wide through the home straight. BIGTIME LEADS (3) - tightened BEES AND BIRDS at the start. Bumped BIGTIME CUTIE shortly after the start. Tightened, then bumped and tightened BIGTIME CUTIE nearing the bend. ALLEGRO CURTIS (4) - tightened BIGTIME LEADS nearing the bend. BIGTIME BANJO (6) - brushed CHEESE AND CHALK at the start, in turn tightened BIGTIME TINA. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. CHEESE AND CHALK (7) - brushed BIGTIME BANJO at the start. BIG TIME KEVIN (8) - slow away. Tightened BIG TIME TINA nearing the bend. Tightened BEES AND BIRDS entering the bend. BIG TIME TINA (9/5) - tightened at the start. Tightened nearing the bend.
Race 5	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C5 - C5 - 410	BIG TIME PLUTO (1) - handy in to the bend when tightened in to contacting the rail losing momentum and ground back towards the rear was unable to get back in to contention a veterinary examination found no abnormalities. TROJAN HOARSE (3) - fav- dwelt and was slow away angled out wide across heels in to the bend and was hampered as a runner was checked and came back finishing in midfield at the line a veterinary examination found no abnormalities. FUNKY FACTS (5) - racing in tight quarters in to the bend when checked went back and raced widest thereafter. ALL ABOUT SPACE (6) - ran on to heels in to the bend and lost momentum in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter. MELITA VELLA (7) - forced to abruptly check outwards off heels racing in to the bend checking following runner was unable to get back in to contention thereafter. ALLEGRO WILL (8) - ran on to heels racing in to the bend checked again soon after as MELITA VELLA checked out off heels in to his racing line and was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	BIG TIME MAC (1) - racing handy in to the bend when tightened and jostled contacting the rail angled outwards raced in the body of the field thereafter a veterinary examination found no abnormalities. DOUBLE THAT (2) - racing handy to the bend when tightened and checked going back towards the rear was unable to get back in to contention. BIGTIME BAILEY (5) - tightened inwards in the run into the bend losing momentum raced widest thereafter. BIGTIME BENJI (6) - tightened between runners and checked back losing momentum and ground in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 7	Doug Bradley Painters C3 - C3 - 457	BIG TIME MAY (2) - angled outwards in to the bend racing widest thereafter finishing in the rear at the line. BIG TIME CHAD (3) - went up with the lids and was last away by several lengths BIG TIME ODETTE (7) - tightened in to making contact with the rail soon after the line a veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
Race 8	Kernow Construction C4 - C4 - 457	TUFF KNIGHT (3) - was bumped and jostled for some strides in the run to the bend came back off heels racing on to the top bend going back several lengths was uanble to improve thereafter. SILENT DISMISSAL (4) - bumped racing away from the start soon after jostled with runner to his inner for some strides losing momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C4 - C4 - 457	Race abandoned due to the lids opening before the lure arrived.
Race 10	Steve 'The Auctioneer Davis' C1 - C1 - 410	CHAT YA LATER (1) - began awkwardly for a stride or so losing momentum settled in the rear unbalanced in to the bend losing more ground finishing well back at the line a veterinary examination found no abnormalities. TUFF MR. TEE (4) - severely tightened and checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground a veterinary examination found a right hip support injury. WHITE COMET (5) - soon after the start was jostled between runners was severely checked as she attempted to angle across in to the bend losing momentum and ground was uncomfortable in her galloping action thereafter finishing well back at the line a veterinary examination found no abnormalities. MEANDERING (7) - attempted to angle across in to the bend tightening runners to his inner for some strides.
Race 11	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C1 - C1 - 410	YASAWA LIGHTS (3) - fav- was very difficult to load away. dwelt when the lids went up and was last in to stride attempted to make ground around runners across the top bend bumped with runners to her inner in to the home straight finished in the rear at the line a veterinary examination found no abnormalities. MOTHER'S TOUCH (5) - away well worked to the lead drifted wide as per her racing style was run down in the run to the line.
Race 12	Total Bodyshop Supplies C1 - C1 - 410	BLACK MAGS (1) - racing handy on to the top bend where he was tightened and went back towards the rear checked on the home turn when looking to make ground along the inner losing momentum and ground. BILL'S BARKER (2) - began awkwardly and was last in to stride made good ground wide to finish in to midfield at the line. WIFI BOLT (4) - racing to the bend was racing in tight quarters when checked going back attempted to improve across the top bend when catching heels going back a couple of lengths was galloped on nearing the home turn and checked again on straightening for the run in finishing in the rear at the line a veterinary examination found no injuries. ARM TURNER (9/7) - racing handy on the inner across the top bend when contacted from behind losing momentum was checked in to the home straight losing momentum was unable to make ground to the line
