• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

JUDICIAL:

1) Handler K Fraser was issued with a warning pursuant with Rule 62.1(y) when not adhering to the GRNZ dress code.

2) Trainer M Flipp applied to Stewards to have OPAWA JODY re-examined pursuant with Rule 55.4 after being stood down for 28 days on Wednesday 20 May for failing to pursue. The re-examination found no serious injury with the 28 day stand down continuing, and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.

Checked off heels nearing the home straight, losing some momentum as a result. Bumped BORN QUICK entering the home straight. ALLEGRO ELLA (5) - bumped entering the bend. Coursed wide through the home straight. ZIPPING LUTHER (6) - bumped shortly after the start. RUNNING FREER (7) - bumped ZIPPING LUTHER shortly after the start. Raced wide through the back straight. Bumped ZARA CHEEBEE from behind entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. ZARA CHEEBEE (8) - bumped ALLEGRO ELLA entering the bend, then bumped from behind. Bumped KAMADA PARK nearing the final bend. HOT PLATTER (4) - began awkwardly, tightening BIG TIME HARPER at the start. Bumped nearing the final bend. Raced wide through the home straight. NOVA WILLOW (2) - tightened at the winning post on the first occasion, in turn tightened NOVO OLLIE entering the first bend, then bumped, losing considerable ground. Checked nearing the home straight when racing towards the rear of the field. Bumped entering the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a torn toe nail. Race 5	Adept Accountants C4 - C4 - 520	BIGTIME ARCHIE (1) - squeezed BIG TIME HARLEY at the winning post on the first occasion. BIG TIME HARLEY (2) - squeezed between runners at the winning post on the first occasion. BIGTIME BRET (3) - squeezed BIG TIME HARLEY at the winning post on the first occasion. Bumped nearing the back straight. Raced wide through the back straight. Bumped BIG TIME ANTON entering the final bend. BIG TIME CHAD (4) - slow away. Bumped shortly after the start. Race 6	Aon Insurance C5 - C5 - 520	BIGTIME ROD (1) - bumped nearing the home straight. BIG TIME KOBE (2) - slow away. Awkwardly placed on heels nearing the home straight, losing momentum and ground. Bumped entering the home straight. BIG TIME MAPLE (5) - tightened at the winning post on the first occasion, needing to check out to gain clear racing room and contacting IRISH ROGUE and BIG TIME VEGAS as a result. Tightened nearing the back straight, losing ground. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME JACKSON (6) - tightened BIG TIME MAPLE at the winning post on the first occasion. Stewards inspected the area of track and were satisfied that the track is in good condition. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed a fractured right hock, with the on track veterinarian humanely euthanising him. BIG TIME VEGAS (8) - contacted shortly after the winning post on the first occasion. Tightened BIG TIME MAPLE nearing the back straight. Raced wide through the back straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. CRIMINAL JUSTICE (3) - began awkwardly, scrambling and almost falling, knocking DOOMSDAY in the process. Bumped on several occasions shortly after the start. Checked off heels entering the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed right hind gracilis muscle pain.
