Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Supplementary Wanganui GRC meeting 19-2-2020 -Club secretary S Hodson was fined $ 150-00 by the JCA after failing to scratch a runner by the required scratching time - no dogs were denied a start.

Supplementary Wanganui GRC meeting 21-2-2020 ( P Freeman ) acting operations manager ) were fined $ 300-00 by the JCA after failing to ensure scratching's were passed on to the TAB scratching service after an earlier incident at the previous meeting -on this occasion a greyhound was denied a start.

1- An inquiry has been opened and adjourned in to the late scratching of EPIC SPARK # 5 race 10 ( B Hunt ). A further inquiry has been opened and adjourned with regards to misleading information being passed on to Stewards and Wanganui GRC scratching official Ms L Bell by trainer B Hunt with regards to the scratching.

2- P Briggs applied to represent DIAMOND GEEZER under rule 55.5 for vetting after being stood down at Wanganui GRC on the 28-2-2020 the dog was found to be clear of injury and the stand down has been rescinded with the dog now cleared to be nominated.

3- Trainer K Gommans reported to the Stewards that MEMPHIS JEWEL a faller in race 10 WGRC meeting on 4-3-2020 after being cleared of injury by the vet was found to favoring the right foreleg the following morning and will be given time to recover.

Race 1	Wanganui Toyota C2 - C2 - 305	BIGTIME BAXTER (1) - racing to the bend was jostled for several strides going back a few lengths. ZARA ZARA (2) - racing to the bend was forced inwards contacting the rail in to the bend going back towards the rear a veterinary examination found pain in the left & right gracilis muscles. BELMONTS (5) - angled across heels soon after the start kept angling across towards the bend forcing ZARA ZARA inwards for several strides was then forced to check out over heels running in to and bumping BIG TIME RUSTY to his outer. COLLECT A DREAM (7) - ran on to heels in the run on to the top bend and was held up for some strides. BIG TIME RUSTY (8) - racing widest in to the bend when bumped hard went off stride losing momentum finishing a margin in the rear at the line a veterinary examination was all clear.
Race 2	Aon Insurance C2 - C2 - 520	BIG TIME BABY (1) - fav- tightened on to heels racing in to the first turn checking outwards contacting runner to her outer losing ground recovered good ground to the line. BIGTIME BAILEY (2) - angled outwards in to the first turn was then bumped and ran wide losing ground back past midfield made some ground to the line. FOOL'S RUSSIAN (6) - improving quickly in to the first turn and angled inwards across runners and contacted the rail losing momentum going back on runners for a couple of strides crossed to the rail in to the far bend checking MY KHLOE only battled to the line thereafter a veterinary examination found pain in both hind quadriceps right hind gracilis & pain in left fore stopper bone. BIGTIME ALFIE (7) - tightened between runners coming back off heels in the run around the first turn losing ground was unable to get back in to contention. BIG TIME BENNY (8) - racing widest in to the first turn when checked and caught heels going wider losing momentum and ground finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 3	Adept Accountants C4 - C4 - 305	CRIMINAL JUSTICE (1) - hampered for some distance when tightened in to the bend and was jostled for some strides recovered well to make ground to the line. BIGTIME LEO (2) - tightened in to the bend and was dictated across on to runner to his inner and was jostled for several more strides. GURU SECRET (3) - away well was then jostled and came back off heels in to the bend running on to the hind of BIG TIME FLASH as that runner came back on her she was severely checked losing ground and all chance there after a veterinary examination found pain in right hind quadriceps muscle area BIG TIME CLARE (5) - clipped heels in to the bend and went back on to heels becoming unbalanced and was jostled losing ground racing on to the top bend. BIG TIME FLASH (6) - went up with the lids settled back angled over in to the bend running on to heels and went back on to GURU SECRET and was almost dragged down losing all chance thereafter a veterinary examination found pain in the right hind gracilis muscle. BIGTIME JAMIE (7) - raced widest in to the bend and was forced to race wide thereafter.
Race 4	Book Your Function @ Hatrick C4 - C4 - 305	BIG TIME FROSTY (2) - fav- went up with the lids and was last in to stride ran on to heels and checked racing on to the top bend losing all chance thereafter. BIGTIME BANJO (3) - racing handy in to the bend when running out wide racing widest there after covering some extra ground in the running. BIGTIME JASMINE (5) - hampered for some strides when unable to clear heels racing on to the top bend. RUNNING FREER (7) - checked on to the top bend when checked and pushed out on to heels.
Race 5	Accell "Leading The Way In Canine Therapy" C3 - C3 - 520	BIGTIME DAISY (2) - leading in to the first turn when severely checked and fell recovered to her paws to finish on to the lure some distance back a veterinary examination found pain in left supraspinatus muscle. GAZZA'S GIRL (3) - soon after the start abruptly ran outwards clipping heels to race wide to the first turn was aided by interference to her outer and finished in to a placing at the line. SKINNY BINNY (4) - racing handy in between runners in to the first turn when severely checked and fell recovered to her paws to finish on to the lure some distance back a veterinary examination found pain in right fore deltoid& right hind quadriceps area. KONGS OUT AGAIN (6) - racing handy in to the first turn when severely checked as she was knocked sideways by falling runner losing balance for several strides and lost all chance thereafter finishing well back at the line a veterinary examination was all clear. BIG TIME VEGAS (7) - racing in to the first turn angled in across the face of runners resulting in several runners being severely checked.
Race 6	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C4/C5 - C4/5 - 305	BIGTIME JETTY (1) - soon after the start angled out between runners then back inwards again as they raced in to the bend losing ground to the rear was unable to make ground thereafter. BIG TIME TINA (4) - fav- jumped well soon after was checked as wider runners crossed settled handy in to the bend slightly crowded for a few strides across the top bend. IDOL DUKE (5) - bumped soon after the start soon after checked out across heels then again racing in to the bend raced wide for some strides angled in closer nearing the home turn. BIGTIME SHEER (8) - angled across from the jump checked runners as she led in to the bend ran wide home turn losing advantage finished strong in the latter stages.
Race 7	NZ Racing Series Graduation (C2-C3) Final - NZRSf - 520	OPAWA CUTIE (3) - soon after the start attempted to angle outwards and was bumped back in ran wide in to the first turn BIG TIME ODETTE (4) - checked and lost momentum racing in to the first turn settled in the rear BIG TIME HARLEY (5) - angled across from the jump coming together with OPAWA CUTIE for a stride or so was forced to check wide out over heels racing in to the first turn GO GLOW (6) - racing towards the home turn attempted to angle inwards bumping and jostling for some strides with OUR TYSON to her inner and was galloped on and stumbled turning in a veterinary examination BIG TIME ANTON (7) - improving around runners nearing the home turn when contacting hindquarters and checking losing momentum once balanced up finished strongly to the line. OUR TYSON (8) - attempting to improve along the inner nearing the home turn was hampered for some strides as runner to his outer attempted to angle inwards costing him momentum and ground.
Race 8	CPF Insurance C4/C5 - C4/5 - 305	BIGTIME LIZZY (2) - began awkwardly settled last improving when contacted and checked in to the bend made ground to the line. BIG TIME PLUTO (6) - in the run to the bend was tightened and checked back from between runners was unable to clear heels for some strides losing ground in to the bend raced wide on the home turn. OPAWA FLASH (8) - wide in to the bend when checked losing momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention thereafter. DYNAMITE DANGER (9/7) - tightened jostled and checked when racing between runners in to the bend contact and checked again soon after was unable to improve to the line a veterinary examination found a spike wound to top of p2 joint left hind with marked joint instability.
Race 9	Kernow Construction C4/C5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME BRET (1) - tightened and crowded racing in to the first turn forced to check abruptly wide out over heels forcing other runners wide and had lost all chance BIG TIME AMIE (2) - severely hampered when checked in to the first turn forced out extremely wide losing all chance thereafter. BIG TIME SPOT (6) - racing widest in to the first turn when checked and forced out extremely wide losing all chance thereafter.
Race 10	Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C2/C3 - C2/3 - 305	EPIC SPARK was a late scratching ( refer judicial ) BIGTIME CUTIE (2) - went up with the lids recovered quickly in to stride to chase the leader to the line. ROWDY RUBY (4) - racing to the bend was bumped and jostled between runners stumbling slightly and hampered racing on to the top bend pushed outwards when looking to improve nearing the home turn. BIG TIME TATUM (7) - went up with the lids and was slow in to stride angled across towards the rail in to the bend making ground along the inner was then tightened and checked off heels losing momentum finishing in the rear at the line. DYNA DIODE (8) - across angled in to the bend bumping with ROWDY RUBY ran wide on to the top bend made ground around runners angling inwards nearing the home turn was unbalanced for stride or so made some ground in the run to the line.
Race 11	Laser Plumbing C2/C3 - C2/3 - 305	HASHTAG BLESSED (1) - hampered for some strides then checked racing in to the bend losing some ground. DINO THE FOX (4) - came together with runner to his outer racing from the start then attempted to push outwards as his customary racing style was jostled for several strides before clearing runners to race wide on to the top bend to race up handy but wide effort told in the run to the line. GIRAFFE CLUB (5) - came together with runner to his inner racing from the start and was pushed outwards for some strides and on to heels and was further tightened between runners racing in to the bend BIGTIME ON TRACK (6) - angled across soon after the start tightening in on to DINO THE FOX jostling and bumping this for some strides then went to change ground inwards in to the bend was checked losing momentum and ground could not get in to contention thereafter. PARIS END (9/7) - racing in tight quarters in to the bend was pushed across on to heels losing momentum and ground was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 12	First Security C2/C3 - C2/3 - 305	WATERLOO GIRL (1) - out well trailed the leader on to the top bend ran wide in to the home turn weakened in the run to the line. ALLEGRO LANIE (2) - hampered for some strides when contacted and pushed sideways and checked back losing momentum and ground in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter. BIGTIME CHRIS (3) - checked back soon after the start had trouble clearing heels twas then forced check out over heels racing in to the bend was unable to get in to contention thereafter. ARTICULATOR (5) - hampered for some strides when tightened bumped and jostled in the run to the bend and was further hampered when checked and jostled racing on to the top bend made some ground in the run to the line. TOKEN VIKKERS (6) - racing to the bend he angled across was then dictated inwards tightening in on to runners to his inner and lost momentum and ground finishing towards the rear at the line.
