Track: Good Track was presented in a very good racing condition being well maintained throughout the meeting All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: 1). BIGTIME FRANKIE (L Cole) - application was made under Rule 56.5 to have the greyhound examined by the officiating Veterinarian after being stood down under Rule 56.1 at the Wanganui GRC's meeting on the 1 January 2020. This examination failed to find the greyhound injury free with the original stand down continuing to take effect.

2). WATERLOO GIRL # 5 race 10 was a late scratching due to a seasonal complaint.

Race 1 TAB Bonus Back Promotion For Races 1 & 2 C1 - C1 - 520 JAY MIKE (1) - dwelt at the jump tightened in to the first turn losing some ground improved along the inner to the back straight to race handy.
OPAWA TAI (2) - hampered for some strides in the run in to the first turn was contacted and went sideways losing momentum and ground was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and was found to have minor bruising long head triceps muscle
BIGTIME MACI (5) - contacted in the hind quarters and checked in to the first turn.
VALVE BOUNCING (6) - severely tightened and checked in to the first turn going back and wide off heels
COSSIE COOPER (8) - angled across to the first turn causing tightening and checks to runners to his inner causing himself to also check and lose several lengths.
Race 2 TAB Bonus Back Promotion For Races 1 & 2 C4 - C4 - 305 MILLIE PRINCE (1) - angled outwards from the jump running in to IDOL PATCHES checking himself made some ground in the latter stages.
IDOL PATCHES (3) - checked soon after the start losing momentum for a couple of strides.
BIGTIME EMJAY (5) - checked out over heels early stages dictated wide in to the bend was then severely checked losing all chance finished on to the lure and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
BIGTIME JAMIE (6) - tightened and jostled between runners in the early stages checked and lost momentum in to the bend ran wide was then severely checked and stumbled and fell making contact with the outside safety fence which pushed this runner back to her paws finishing on to the lure some distance back and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
FRIZZLED (7) - angled across from the jump causing tightening and checks to several runners to his inner for some strides.
FUNZALO (9/4) - jostled early stages crossed to the rail in to the bend and was then forced to checked abruptly out over heels colliding in to wider runners being severely checked losing all chance finished on to the lure and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
Race 3 Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 520 BIGTIME DIESEL (2) - began well crowded and tightened checked back to the rear racing in to the first turn was unable to improve thereafter finishing in the rear at the line was referred to the vet and was found to have a sprained toe on the left fore
DOUBLE WHAT (3) - attempted to angle across in to the first turn tightening and checking BIGTIME DIESEL to his inner raced handy around the first turn racing extremely wide in to the back straight improved wide across the top bend effort told in the run to the line.
CHAT YA LATER (4) - slow away ran wide over heels in to the first turn was unable to improve past midfield thereafter.
Race 4 Whanganui Chronicle C4/C5 - C4/5 - 305 EYE FAR (2) - ran outwards from the jump checking runner to her outer and causing tightening to wider runners for a few strides.
BIG TIME LEBRON (3) - checked racing from the start when unbalanced for a couple of strides after catching heels.
ZARA CHEEBEE (7) - ran inwards from the jump causing tightening and jostling to runner to her inner for a few strides.
BIGTIME SHEER (9/5) - jostled between runners for some stridesi n the run to the bend where she ran wide losing some ground was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
Race 5 Aon CPF C2/C3 - C2/3 - 520 BIG TIME GINA was up 2 kgs today - SIMPLY SMOOTH was up 2,5 kgs today both dogs cleared to race.
BIGTIME DAISY (1) - bumped and checked in the run in to the far bend
GRAY BALE (2) - came back off heels racing in to the first turn then had trouble clearing heels in the run around the first turn then ran on to heels again and checked on the top bend .
BIGTIME ACACIA (3) - fav- slow away towards the rear in to the first turn was unable to find clear racing room for some distance thereafter made good ground in the run to the line.
Race 6 Palmountains Scientific Nutrition C4 - C4 - 305 THUNDERATION (3) - jostled bumped and checked in to the bend losing momentum back to the rear and was unable to improve thereafter.
HIP HOP RAPPER (4) - angled inwards in to the bend tightening THUNDERATION and causing himself to check and lose ground.
IDOL DUKE (8) - forced to race widest in to and around the bend covering extra ground finishing in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 7 Quality Inn Collegiate Wanganui C2/C3 - C2/3 - 305 SEDGEBROOK SALLY (1) - fav- attempted to angle outwards from the jump and was jostled for some distance as runners were tightened inwards .
BIGTIME COCO (2) - ran outwards from the jump in to BIG TIME MAY then angled outwards across heels raced wide and lost ground racing in to the bend.
DOOMSDAY (4) - in the run to the bend was severely tightened and checked in to the rail losing momentum and all chance thereafter finishing on to the lure and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
BIG TIME CLARE (7) - severely tightened and jostled for some distance in the run to the bend being tightened and checked back to the rear was unable to make ground thereafter and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
BIGTIME LEO (8) - raced across from the jump causing severe tightening and checks to several runners in the run to the bend.
BIG TIME MAY (9/3) - dwelt at the jump was then checked when bumped from her inner soon after was severely hampered losing all chance from there on in and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8 Wanganui Toyota C2/C3 - C2/3 - 305 ZARA ZARA (1) - fav- contact hindquarters in to the bend was able to keep her position at this point.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE (3) - tightened in to the bend and hampered for some strides came out in to the bend losing ground.
SEDGEBROOK LOVER (4) - dictated inwards on to hindquarters racing in to the bend being severely tightened losing momentum and all chance thereafter.
BIGTIME CALEB (7) - came back off heels in to the bend made contact with runner to his outer losing momentum was unable to improve.
BIGTIME BAXTER (8) - forced to race widest in to the bend contact with runner to his inner then angled inwards was unable to improve from there.
Race 9 Accell "Leading The Way In Canine Therapy" C4/C5 - C4/5 - 520 BIGTIME ROD (1) - fav- only fairly away settled midfield was unable to make a lot of ground thereafter. Stewards questioned the seemingly disappointing performance of the the greyhound where the connections advised that they were not overly disappointed given he was up against superior opposition and had been slightly slow away being unable to race in a forwards position that he had been afforded in its most recent racing.
HEY FERNANDO (3) - improved along the inner to challenge for the lead nearing the home turn when bumped and jostled with BIG TIME IZZY to his outer for some strides as the made the home turn
BIG TIME IZZY (4) - leading when challenged by runner to her inenr nearing the home turn angled inwards slightly coming together with this runner then weakened in the latter stages of the run to the line. for some strides
BIG TIME OCEAN (7) - handy on the outer along the back straight and on to the far bend weakened from the home turn.
Race 10 Happy Birthday Wendy Kite C2/C3 - C2/3 - 305 WATERLOO GIRL was a late scratching.
BIGTIME BRONX (2) - went up with the lids angled out over heels in to the bend finished best in the run to the line was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
BIGTIME MOLLY (4) - fav- hampered for some strides in the run to the bend when pushed and tightened inwards losing momentum and ground back to the rear was unable to get back in to contention.
BIGTIME KYLIE (6) - tightened and forced to check back in to the bend came back off heels soon after was unable to get back in to contention.
GO ASH (7) - angled across tightening and checking runners to his inner in the run in to the bend couldn't improve from the midfield thereafter.
ELOUERA MIST (8) - forced to race wide in to the bend angled inwards soon after was unable to make much ground .
Race 11 Book Your Function @ Hatrick C2 - C2 - 305 TUFF TEMPTRESS (1) - in the run to the bend was tightened bumped and jostled for some distance and did well to keep her ground racing in to the bend .
BEES AND BIRDS (2) - fav- from the jump ran outwards across the face of the field then raced to a clear lead.
MAHALA BAY (3) - soon after the start was tightened and jostled between runners for some distance losing momentum and ground back to the rear was unable to make ground thereafter.
HYPOTHETICAL (4) - soon after the start was hampered when dictated inwards and checked stumbling for a stride losing momentum and ground
LIMPY JACKSON (6) - angled outwards from the jump racing widest in to the bend and covered extra ground in the running.
BOMBSHELL BLONDE (8) - angled across sharply racing to the bend causing severe tightening and checks to several runners to her inner for some strides .
ARTHUR'S CROWN (9/7) - from the jump angled in between runners was then forced inwards on to runners as BOMBSHELL BLONDE angled across causing severe tightening to several runners and was jostled himself for some strides.
Race 12 Rivercity Gas C2 - C2 - 305 BLITZEM GEM (1) - hampered for some strides in to the bend when contacted in the hind quarters and unbalanced for some strides contacted again nearing the top bend .
ARTICULATOR (3) - unbalanced in to the bend when getting on hindquarters caught hindquarters again and fell racing on to the top bend he recovered to his paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
ZARA FAB (6) - jostled with runner to his outer for some strides racing in to and on to the top bend
NAHARIS (7) - contact and jostling with runner to his inner for some strides in to and on to the top bend.
