Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY FROM CHRISTCHURCH GRC - 19 December 2019 - Trainer C Steele advised Stewards that DOUBLE SCOOP was found to have injured a toe after competing in Race 8 at Addington last night.

JUDICIAL REPORT

1) COSMIC MARTY (J McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling when found to have hock soreness.

2) MY ROSIE (L Waretini) was a late scratching at kenneling when found to have a wart on a foot.

3) Race 3 was declared a No Race when fallen runners ran back towards the lure.

Race 2	Murray & Hannah @ Ray White Cashmere Dash - C0 - 295	FATHER LEO (2) - contacted by HOMEBUSH HANS in back straight and turned sideways for a stride. HOMEBUSH HANS (3) - ran outwards early stages. Contacted FATHER LEO in back straight. OHOKA MEGAN (4) - tightened early stages and dropped to rear. Ran outwards home turn pushing YES YES NO wider. YES YES NO (5) - ran inwards early stages. Got on heels on bend losing momentum. Pushed wider on home turn by OHOKA MEGAN. HOMEBUSH ODETTE (6) - dragged down and ran wide into bend losing ground. Fell at lure. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. GREY WIND (7) - hampered and pushed wide on bend by HOMEBUSH ODETTE contacting GO KIKI in consequence. GO KIKI (8) - remained very wide through the back straight. Checked by GREY WIND on bend and lost ground.
Race 3	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C0 - 295	WHITE ROXY (1) - collided with CREASY BEAR early stages. CREASY BEAR (2) - collided with WHITE ROXY early stages losing ground. HOMEBUSH LIZ (3) - ran wide home turn. IMPRESSIVE MOOD (6) - had heels clipped by KNOW FAREWELL early stages. Hampered and forced wide on bend losing ground. KNOW FAREWELL (7) - ran inwards early stages clipping the heels of IMPRESSIVE MOOD losing ground. Checked into bend and lost ground when KING THEODEN ran inwards. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. KING THEODEN (8) - ran inwards into bend checking KNOW FAREWELL.
Race 4	Crate & Barrel Hotel Stakes - C0 - 520	This race was declared a No Race after TREVOR WILKS, OPAWA NASH and AIN'T HE LUCKY all fell racing into the first bend with some of the fallen runners running back towards the lure. All dogs were inspected by the veterinarian. TREVOR WILKS sustained a compound fracture of its right foreleg and was euthanised on humane grounds.
Race 5	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C0 - 520	STYLISH STEPPER (1) - very slow to jump. Checked outwards off heels entering back straight HOLY GRAIL (2) - tightened for a stride by OPAWA GONZO on first bend. BILLY RAY (3) - ran wide through the first straight briefly hampering PEBBLE BEACH in the early stages. PEBBLE BEACH (4) - briefly hampered by BILLY RAY in the early stages as that runner ran outwards. Pushed down track by OPAWA GONZO in run to first bend. Tightened into first bend losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. HAZE ADAMS (6) - checked for a stride in early stages as OPAWA GONZO ran inwards. CULVIE NUMB BOY (7) - slow to jump. Ran very wide first bend. OPAWA GONZO (8) - ran inwards early stages checking HAZE ADAMS for a stride then pushed PEBBLE BEACH down track in run to first bend. Ran inwards first bend tightening HOLY GRAIL. BUGSY BROWN (9/5) - ran inwards first bend causing STYLISH STEPPER to check off its heels. Ran wide entering back straight.
Race 6	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph0272719588 Dash - C0 - 295	GINGER CRACKER (1) - very slow to jump. CHELSEA SMILE (4) - checked by HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF in back straight. Angled outwards into bend causing tightening. Got on heels of CANCUN on bend and forced wide in consequence. SEA SPRAY ASH (5) - contacted by HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF early stages. HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF (6) - contacted SEA SPRAY ASH early stages. Ran inwards checking CHELSEA SMILE in back straight. Checked by JUST PEACHES into bend and lost ground. JUST PEACHES (7) - ran inwards into bend checking HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF. Forced wide into bend losing ground. CANCUN (8) - dragged down by CHELSEA SMILE into bend losing momentum.
