SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:- Christchurch GRC 12th December 2019 - Trainer R Casey has advised Stewards that his greyhound,TAIERI TERRA, had sprained a toe on its right front foot and would be spelled as a consequence.

JUDICIAL REPORT:-

1). DYNA WINK (A Roberts) and SWEET DREAMING (R Blackburn) both completed satisfactory trials and are now permitted to be nominated to race.

2) .Trainers S & B Evans were fined the sum of $100 for presenting GOLDSTAR POWER to race up 1.7kgs from its most recent start.

3). Race 8 was rescheduled to start at 2.14pm at the request of the TAB.

4). DYNA NAYA (S & B Evans) - stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial for Failing to Pursue the Lure in Race 11.

5). Stipendiary Stewards report as posted is provisional and subject to further review and amendment.

YI FENG (2) - placed at a disadvantage rounding the bend when hampered by KNOW TACTICS. Brushed with KNOW TACTICS exiting the bend. TONKAWA (5) - boxed first. HOMEBUSH FUDGE (7) - left the boxes inelegantly settling last.
Race 2	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	COOL BEANS (1) - jostled with GOLDSTAR TAWNEY prior to the bend before being placed in restricted room losing ground. GOLDSTAR TAWNY (2) - checked from behind when placed in confined quarters entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. RETALLICK (4) - began awkwardly. Checked entering the bend losing momentum before being further checked rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MITCHAM RYDER (6) - shouldered with MAJOR STORM in the run to the bend before being compelled to check of this runners heels losing ground. Contacted from the outside rounding the bend being forced up the track and on heels as a consequence.Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MAJOR STORM (7) - shouldered with MITCHAM RYDER in the run to the bend. DENUTO (8) - significantly slow early. Checked off heels rounding the bend bumping with MITCHAM RYDER. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Happy 18th Birthday Riley Evans Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH GEORGE (2) - hampered by MITCHAM TRUDY in the run to the bend. MITCHAM TRUDY (3) - shifted up the track early stages impeding the racing line of GOLDSTAR WYNTER. Became awkwardly placed to the outside of HOMEBUSH GEORGE shortly afterwards being turned outwards as a consequence and losing all momentum. GOLDSTAR WYNTER (4) - had its racing room obstructed early stages. Required to check off heels prior to the bend TAKE A HINT (6) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground before bumping with MULLBERRY BRIT. MULBERRY BRIT (7) - shouldered with TAKE A HINT entering the bend losing ground before being bumped by this greyhound rounding the bend.
Race 4	Suck It Up Ltd Stakes - C1 - 520	MISS HONEY (2) - began awkwardly settling last. Hindered and lost ground first turn. HUSTLE ACE (3) - hampered by BILLY BUDD on jumping. Shifted ground outwards entering the first turn placing GOLDSTAR ASHTON in some difficulty which in turn had to check inwards. Continued up the track checking GO BELLE who in turn checked MISS HONEY and BILLY BUDD. BILLY BUDD (4) - was clumsy to jump, shifting inwards and shouldering HUSTLE ACE as a consequence. Hindered and forced up the track first turn losing ground. GO BELLE (8) - checked first turn losing ground. Held up for racing room later stages of home turn.
Race 5	Swimming Goat @ Stud Dash - C1 - 295	Not all cameras were available to provide video footage for the purpose of reporting this race. TRAJAN (4) - box first. Checked inwards off heels early stages. ANDREA SAID (7) - slow early. Placed in restricted room rounding the bend. GOLDSTAR REBEL (8) - positioned awkwardly on heels entering the bend losing ground.
Race 6	Avonhead Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	TWIZEL STORM (1) - slow early. HOMEBUSH MANDY (3) - placed in restricted quarters entering the bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR SPOOK (4) - hindered entering the bend having to check and lose momentum. OPAL HUNTER (5) - placed in restricted quarters entering the bend losing ground. MEMPHIS JEWEL (8) - began slowly before checking in off the heels of DREAM RUNNER.
Race 7	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph0272719588 Dash - C1 - 295	HORSE RANGE GOLD (2) - brushed with PUNTERS LAST on jumping. PUNTERS LAST (3) - shifted inwards on jumping brushing with HORSE RANGE GOLD. GOLDSTAR GALAXIE (4) - hampered early stages. Obligated to check off heels exiting the bend. CHICAGO HEAD (5) - contacted from the outside by IT'S A JOKE in the run to the bend. Placed on heels rounding the bend and had to check for a stride. IT'S A JOKE (6) - shifted down the track in the run to the bend colliding with CHICAGO HEAD. Placed in confined quarters entering the bend losing ground before being awkwardly positioned on heels. HOMEBUSH FLYNN (7) - jostled with IT'S A JOKE and then CHICAGO HEAD leading into and entering the bend losing ground in consequence.
Race 8	Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes Final - C1f - 520	LONGSHANKS (1) - checked off heels entering the first bend colliding with NEW NOTE and losing ground. KEA VIKING (3) - shouldered with NEW NOTE on jumping before being bumped down the track. Placed in restricted room prior to the first turn losing ground after being caught on heels. Checked from behind shortly there after. NEW NOTE (4) - shouldered with KEA VIKING on jumping before being crowded for racing room and having to check outwards off heels. Heavily contacted by LONGSHANKS entering the bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR CHIEF (5) - had hind quarters bumped when shifting down the track early stages. Checked off heels rounding the first bend. XABIL BALE (6) - lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend.
Race 9	Beach Cafe & Wine Bar Sprint - C1 - 295	RAQUEL ALLEN (2) - brushed with the hind quarters of HOMEBUSH MAYCEE prior to the bend before being placed in restricted room prior to the bend losing ground. MULBERRY ROCK (4) - boxed first. Shifted up the track early stages colliding with GADZOOKS. HOMEBUSH MAYCEE (5) - hind quarters brushed prior to the bend before being placed in restricted room and losing ground. GADZOOKS (6) - contacted from the inside early stages losing ground. PRECIOUS PAYTON (7) - placed in constricted room early stages and lost ground. JAY SPENCER (8) - came inwards early stages bouncing off PRECIOUS PAYTON.
Race 10	Power Farming Canterbury Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW TALENT (3) - bumped down the track early stages. Raced wide entering the first turn after checking outwards off heels. Checked off heels rounding the final bend and shifted up the track as a consequence checking BORN TASHA out of the race. GO RAP (4) - squeezed for room early stages losing ground.Placed on heels entering the first turn. MR BLACKJACK (5) - squeezed for room early stages losing ground. BORN TASHA (6) - contacted by TUCKER early stages. Obligated to check off heels entering the first bend shifting up the track and hinder the running of BLACK STOCKINGS. Shouldered with this runner down the back straight. Terminally checked when forced wide final bend. TUCKER (7) - contacted BORN TASHA early stages. BLACK STOCKINGS (8) - hampered entering the first bend. Shouldered with BORN TASHA racing down the back straight.
Race 11	Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C1 - 520	DREAM KAY (1) - shifted up the track when awkwardly placed on the heels of DYNA NAYA entering the first bend. CHUNK (2) - received a critical check entering the fist turn when racing to the outside of DREAM KAY. BARREL RUNNER (3) - hampered early stages. Received a critical check entering the fist turn when racing to the outside of CHUNK. Checked off heels final bend. SMASH GATOR (4) - hampered and obligated to shift ground outwards early stages. Received a critical check entering the fist turn when racing to the outside of BARREL RUNNER. OHOKA CARSEN (5) - slow to jump. PUNTERS A HERO (6) - hindered the running line of inside greyhounds when shifting down the track early stages. GO GREAT (7) - slow to jump. DYNA NAYA (8) - had heels clipped entering the final bend. Eased considerably rounding the final bend losing ground rapidly with the field. Referred to the Veterinarian where an immediate examination failed to find any clinical abnormalities. A further examination an hour later again failed to find any injury. Stewards questioned co trainer B Evans in relation to the greyhound's racing conduct through the final stages. After taking into account the evidence tendered by Mrs Evans along with the Stewards own observations and Veterinary report it was deemed the greyhound had failed to pursue the lure and as a consequence was stood down for the mandatory 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial.
Race 12	Murray & Hannah @ Ray White Cashmere Dash - C1 - 295	TREMONTI (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend necessitating it to check and lose ground. HOMEBUSH ERIN (2) - hampered briefly rounding the bend before jostling with IMPRESSIVE FLASH through the early stages of the run home. Collided with KNOW MAJORITY prior to the finish line. IMPRESSIVE FLASH (3) - hampered briefly rounding the bend before jostling with HOMEBUSH ERIN through the early stages of the run home. KNOW MAJORITY (4) - hindered early stages before being bumped by CRUSHINGTON. Lost ground when awkwardly positioned to the outside of IMPRESSIVE FLASH entering the bend. Contacted from the outside by HOMEBUSH ERIN prior to the finish line. CRUSHINGTON (5) - slow early. Awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend and again rounding the bend shifting up the track as a result. POORAN'S JADEJA (6) - shifted down the track abruptly on jumping hampering inside runners. GOLDSTAR FLORA (8) - checked rounding the bend losing ground.
Race 13	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C1 - 295	KNOW DOLLARS (1) - hindered briefly entering the bend. JINGILI JILL (2) - boxed first. SYDNEYS SOX (3) - considerably slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels when in tight quarters entering the bend having to check and become uncoordinated. Shouldered with JINJA LIV entering the home straight. GOLDSTAR MCQUEEN (4) - critically checked rounding the bend causing a check to HOMEBUSH VASSY. HOMEBUSH VASSY (6) - checked and lost ground rounding the bend. PUNCH ON REX (7) - lost balance for several strides rounding the bend after being placed awkwardly on heels. JINJA LIV (8) - clipped from behind by PUNCH ON REX rounding the bend and shifted up the track as a consequence. Shouldered with SYDNEYS SOX entering the home straight.
Race 14	Protexin Sprint - C1 - 295	PACEMAKER (1) - lost momentum when placed in tight quarters entering the bend. CALM INFERNO (2) - brushed with TEARAWAY TARA on jumping and again in the run to the bend. TEARAWAY TARA (3) - boxed first. Brushed with CALM INFERNO on jumping and again in the run to the bend. OHOKA KATE (4) - bumped slightly by GOLDSTAR CLOVER early stages. Checked outwards off heels rounding the bend shifting significantly up the track. Continued to race wide through the run home. GOLDSTAR CLOVER (5) - positioned awkwardly to the outside of OHOKA KATE early stages. HOMEBUSH ZACK (6) - slow early. Lost momentum briefly when on heels rounding the bend.
