Judicial report: 1) - Connections of CANYA SNIPER (E Potts) advised this runner was found to be lame after competing on Thursday 12th December at Waikato GRC with a veterinary examination revealing a fractured left hock and was humanely euthanased.
2) - Connections advised BUSY FLASH (W & T Steele) received veterinary treatment for split webbing after competing on Thursday 12th December at Waikato GRC with a 14 day stand down imposed.
3) - EL NARCO (race 10) was a late scratching at 1.39pm on veterinary advice.
4) - E Potts was issued with a warning under Rule 47.4 for failing to arrange a catcher for JINJA NICE (race 10).
5) - A false start was declared in race 11 when the boxes failed to activate with all runners removed to undergo veterinary examinations and cleared to start. The boxes were tested to satisfaction prior to restarting this event. As a result race 11 started approximately 4 minutes behind scheduled start time.
6) - A track inspection was carried out following race 12 and found to be consistent with no areas of concern.

XENA POPPY (2) - slow away. Shifted off heels rounding the final bend making contact. LOUDRED (3) - slow away. Bumped rounding the bend. Contact final bend. Jostled throughout the final straight. KAPAI CHRIS (4) - slow away then made solid contact. Shifted wide back straight. Contacted from behind first turn becoming briefly unbalanced. Bumped rounding the bend. BOTANY RIFLES (6) - slow away then tightened making solid contact. Jostled back straight then dictated wider. Shifted in onto hindquarters first turn losing ground. Shifted out off heels rounding the bend losing ground. Shifted out and jostled throughout the final straight. ROWDY RATBAG (7) - contact start. Jostled back straight then dictated wider shifting in off heels racing toward the first turn.
Race 2	Olympic Park 'TAB Bonus Back' Stakes - C3/4 - 527	LOOKING SNATCHED (1) - bumped first turn. Tightened making contact leaving the back straight. Shifted out off heels final straight. TI AMO (2) - collided first turn. OUR HEMI (3) - collided first turn. Bumped concluding stages. PUZZLE TIN (4) - tightened and hampered several occasions rounding the first turn losing ground. SPRING MECHANIC (5) - shifted in first turn becoming awkwardly placed on heels . HEART SHAPED BOX (6) - collided start. Shifted in making contact leaving the back straight. ROBSON (7) - collided start. Shifted in off heels first turn making contact several occasions then dragged down losing ground. Contact rounding the first turn. Bumped concluding stages. Veterinary examination revealed pain in the right superficial pectoral and scratches on the right hind with a 7 day stand down imposed. GRUNT (8) - slow away. Contact several occasions rounding the first turn becoming tightened losing ground.
Race 3	Kumeu Sprint - C2 - 318	IT'S PAWSIBLE (1) - tightened and hampered back straight getting dragged down losing considerable ground and all chance. Veterinary examination revealed pain in the right superficial pectoral with a 10 day stand down imposed. BIGTIME CHAMP (3) - slow away then inconvenienced. Angled in first turn into the line of another runner. Jostled for a distance final straight. GURU'S CHOICE (4) - tightened and hampered back straight becoming unbalanced losing ground. Tightened making contact first turn losing ground. Collided rounding the bend losing ground. KURIDRANI (5) - contact for a distance after the start becoming tightened shifting out off heels. CLOVER VICTORIA (6) - angled in after the start making contact for a distance throughout the back straight. Received veterinary attention following this event for a laceration on the right hind toe with a 14 days stand down imposed. BIGTIME DEAN (7) - bumped after the start and several occasions back straight. Bumped first turn. Jostled for a distance final straight. SWEET CLOVER (8) - bumped after the start and several occasions back straight. Bumped first turn becoming unbalanced shifting wider then lost ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. DIGGER ACE (9/2) - tightened and hampered back straight getting on heels becoming unbalanced losing ground. Tightened making contact first turn losing ground. Collided rounding the bend losing ground.
Race 4	Ring The Bell Distance - C2d - 603	LITTLE APPLE (2) - shifted out off heels entering the bend leaving the front straight then raced wide. AMY AMY (3) - tightened first turn shifting out off heels. Raced wide. INDI SHAE (4) - slow away. OPAWA PLUM (5) - slow away. Contact rounding the bend into the back straight losing ground. FEAR THE FUR (8) - slow away. Contact rounding the bend into the back straight.
Race 5	Mt Smart Stadium Sprint - C3 - 318	CHOO CHOO proved difficult to box with connections advising a change of handler would be made for future racing. CHOO CHOO (1) - slow away. Raced in restricted room for a distance back straight. Shifted out off heels first turn making solid contact. PODIUM PHOBIA (2) - slow away. Hampered first turn losing ground. Checked first turn shifting wide losing ground. Improved into a marginal run final bend making contact. BIGTIME JACOB (3) - tightened making contact back straight losing ground shifting out onto PODIUM PHOBIA first turn. Checked first turn shifting wide losing ground. I'M A LEO (5) - angled in back straight making contact for a distance. Shifted off heels rounding the bend. PAT TAMA (7) - hampered first turn getting forced wider losing ground. Contact final bend. BIG TIME RUSTY (8) - hampered first turn getting forced wider losing ground. Inconvenienced rounding the bend.
Race 6	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Series Final - C1f - 527	OPAWA DELIGHT (1) - contact after the start. Tightened and checked first turn losing ground going back onto other runners then contacted from behind. Raced wide into the final straight. DIGNITY DENTED (2) - contact after the start then shifted in onto OPAWA DELIGHT. Shifted off heels first turn making contact. Dictated inwards back straight making contact for a distance losing ground. Shifted out entering the final straight making solid contact with JINJA JAY. LITTLE MOO (3) - collided after the start.
