Awkwardly placed on the heels of MY KHLOE entering the first turn racing wide and losing ground as a result. MY KHLOE (4) - contacted from the outside by QUEENA BALE shortly after jumping. Placed in restricted room entering the first turn be dragged down by BROKE BRAD as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have QUEENA BALE (5) - collided with MY KHLOE shortly after jumping. BIG TIME VINCE (8) - slow early.
Race 2	Dave and Jean Fahey C0 Final - C0f - 520	MR BLACKJACK (2) - squeezed for racing room early stages after being slow to jump. Checked off heels exiting first bend colliding with YOUNG DUMB BROKE as a consequence. YOUNG DUMB BROKE (3) - bumped with BIG TIME JACKSON early stages. Contacted from the inside exiting the first bend. THRILLING BAXTER (4) - awkwardly placed to the outside of FOOL'S RUSSIAN first turn losing momentum. Jostled with BIG TIME JACKSON prior to the finish line. FALL GRACEFULLY (5) - forced down the track by OUR HOTROD early stages. OUR HOTROD (7) - shifted down the track early stages. FOOL'S RUSSIAN (8) - checked when placed between runners first turn losing momentum. BIG TIME JACKSON (9/1) - bumped with YOUNG DUMB BROKE early stages. Placed awkwardly to the inside of FOOL'S RUSSIAN first turn losing momentum. Jostled with THRILLING BAXTER prior to the finish line.
Race 3	Collegiate Quality Inn Wanganui C1 Final - C1f - 520	KONGS OUT AGAIN (1) - jostled with BOYS GET PAID early stages and was turned inwards for several strides losing balance. Collided with ELECTRICAL STORM rounding the first bend, being turned inwards as a consequence and lost ground. BOYS GET PAID (2) - hampered by KONGS OUT AGAIN early stages. MEANDERING (3) - slow early. ELECTRICAL STORM (4) - jostled briefly with JAY MIKE in the run to the first turn. Contacted from the inside by KONGS OUT AGAIN rounding the first bend being forced up the track and lost ground as a consequence. JAY MIKE (5) - jostled briefly with OPAWA TAI then ELECTRICAL STORM in the run to the first turn. Bumped of the hind quarters of ELECTRICAL STORM entering the first turn checking outside runners. OPAWA TAI (6) - jostled briefly with JAY MIKE in the run to the first turn. Checked by JAY MIKE and forced up the track first turn losing ground. GOLDSTAR TRUMAN (8) - slow early. Checked by JAY MIKE and forced up the track first turn losing ground.
Race 4	Red Snapper Seafoods Christchurch C3 Feature - C3 - 520	MAX DANCER (1) - placed in restricted room rounding the first bend losing momentum. BIG TIME MAY (4) - jostled with FLYING HUEY in the run to the first turn. Awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the first bend having to check. DARLA BALE (5) - began awkwardly shifting up the track and placing THRILLING NINA in tight quarters. Placed in restricted room prior to the bend having to steady and check outwards off the heels of FLYING HUEY. Contacted from the inside by THRILLING NINA exiting the first bend losing its balance for a stride. Checked off heels rounding the final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain through its left deltoid and sartorius muscles. THRILLING NINA (6) - squeezed for racing room early stages having to check and lose ground. Bumped with DARLA BALE exiting the first bend. FLYING HUEY (7) - jostled with BIG TIME MAY in the run to the first turn. RIVALRIES (8) - slow early.
Race 5	Kernow Construction C4 Feature - C4 - 520	BIGTIME LILAH (1) - jostled with KNOW BETRAYAL prior to the first bend. Placed in restricted room entering the first turn after jostling with FEDERAL IMPACT losing momentum. KNOW BETRAYAL (2) - placed in restricted room after jostling with BIGTIME LILAH prior to the first bend losing momentum. BIGTIME SHADOW (3) - placed in restricted room prior to the first bend losing momentum. Wide first bend. OSTER BALE (4) - squeezed for room early stages checking outwards off the heels of FEDERAL IMPACT. FEDERAL IMPACT (9/5) - jostled with BIGTIME LILAH prior to the first bend before becoming awkwardly positioned to the outside of this runner entering the first bend losing momentum as a consequence. Faltered and lost ground when placed between runners rounding the bend and lost considerable ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have lacerations to its left front toe. Follow up required.
Race 6	Monster Fish @ Stud c5 Feature - C5 - 520	BIGTIME LEVI (1) - jostled with BIG TIME SETH prior to the first turn. BIG TIME SETH (2) - jostled with BIGTIME LEVI prior to the first turn. Brushed shoulders briefly with DIDDILEE exiting the final bend. DIDDILEE (3) - brushed shoulders briefly with BIG TIME SETH exiting the final bend. Precautionary Veterinary examination found no clinical abnormalities. Stewards questioned the seemingly disappointing performance of the greyhound with the connections advising they were at a loss and would be having blood samples taken in the coming days. Stewards will follow these up. BIG TIME IZZY (5) - bumped with DYNA VARSITY exiting the final bend. OPAWA DEAL (7) - shifted ground inwards off heels early stages. Awkwardly placed to the outside of DYNA VARSITY entering the first turn having to race wide as a consequence. DYNA VARSITY (9/4) - obliged to shift off the heels of OPAWA VIKING entering the first bend. Bumped with BIG TIME IZZY exiting he final bend.
Race 7	Allegro Gun @ Stud Wanganui Oakz R/A $5000.00 Bonus Place6 - R/A - 520	GO GLOW(7) - late scratching at kenneling on Veterinary advice. OPAWA NAT (2) - climbed on the heels of KIWI GUNN entering the first turn before being bumped by WOMAN NO CRY MELITA VELLA (3) - referred to the Veterianrian after becoming stuck under he running rail at the lure where it was reported to have sustained lacerations to its left thigh area. BIGTIME ANNIE (4) - hind quarters contacted by KIWI GUNN early stages. Bumped briefly with FIFI early stages of the run home when attempting to find racing room before shifting ground inwards off the heels of BIGTIME KISS. KIWI GUNN (6) - contacted the hind quarters of BIGTIME ANNIE early stages. Dragged down by OPAWA NAT entering the first turn and then again by WOMAN NO CRY shortly after losing its chance. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to general soreness to its shoulder area. FIFI (8) - bumped briefly with BIGTIME ANNIE early stages of the run home. WOMAN NO CRY (9/1) - climbed on the heels of KIWI GUNN entering the first turn checking outwards and bumping with OPAWA NAT. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 8	Thrilling Boris @ Stud Wanganui Darby R/A - R/A - 520	UTHOR BALE (1) - began awkwardly shifting up the track. Bumped from the inside by BIGTIME ALFIE entering the back straight. BIGTIME ALFIE (3) - hind quarters bumped by MACHINE GUNN first turn. Collided with UTHOR BALE entering the back straight. MACHINE GUNN (4) - contacted the hind quarters of BIGTIME ALFIE first turn becoming unbalanced. Weakened final turn. OPAWA TODDY (5) - came together with BIG TIME RHINO shortly after jumping. IRISH ROGUE (7) - faltered and made the first turn awkwardly losing ground with the field filing to finish. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have suspected hypoxia and bruising over its right thigh. BIG TIME RHINO (9/8) - came together with OPAWA TODDY shortly after jumping.
Race 9	Wanganui Toyota Dash For Cash (Group 2) Final - C5f - 305	FLORA DORA (1) - jostled with KIWI BOY early stages. Checked outwards off the heels of SIR DUGGIE rounding the bend losing ground. Bumped with KIWI BOY exiting the bend. Dragged down through the run home. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain in its left tensor fascia lata. BIGTIME SHINE (2) - slow early. KIWI BOY (3) - jostled with FLORA DORA early stages. hampered when placing CHEESE AND CHALK in restricted room prior to the bend and again when racing to the inside of BIGTIME ZIGGY. Hampered rounding the bend before bumping with FLORA DORA exiting the bend. BUDDY BOOM (4) - checked inwards off the heels of KIWI BOY shortly after jumping. BIGTIME ZIGGY (7) - made contact with CHEESE AND CHALK on jumping. Placed in restricted room and bumped with SIR DUGGIE entering the bend having to check outwards off this runners heels as a result. Climbed on the heels of FLORA DORA in the run home.
Race 10	Accell Therapy Spion Rose (Group 1) Final - C5f - 520	HEY FERNANDO (1) - bumped briefly with EMGRAND PARK exiting the final bend. THRILLING VICE (2) - bumped with SPRING FALCON early stages before jostling briefly with GO VEGAS. Checked outwards off the heels of EMGRAND PARK entering the first turn colliding with DYNA DAVE as a consequence. SPRING FALCON (3) - squeezed for racing room early stages bumping with THRILLING VICE as a result. Shifted outwards off the heels of HEY FERNANDO exiting the final bend. GO VEGAS (4) - began awkwardly. Jostled briefly with THRILLING VICE early stages. DYNA DAVE (5) - contacted and severely hampered first turn by THRILLING VICE losing ground as a consequence. EMGRAND PARK (6) - bumped briefly with HEY FERNANDO exiting the final bend. HE'S ALL SHINE (9/7) - shifted ground outwards early stages.
Race 11	NZ Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 755	OPAWA HILLARY (7) underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination after being retrieved from its kennel with a suspected eye issue and was cleared to start. CRACKLING GAL (1) - bumped from GRUNTY MAMA final bend losing momentum. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (2) - slow early. KNOW ANXIETY (4) - lost ground when squeezed for racing room first turn. OPAWA HILARY (7) - slow early. Checked outwards off the heels of GOLDSTAR SYDNEY entering the third turn colliding with GRUNTY MAMA as a consequence. GRUNTY MAMA (8) - boxed first. Contacted and forced up the track by OPAWA HILARY entering the third turn. Bumped with CRACKLING GAL final bend.
Race 12	Goldstar Racing Kennels Christchurch C2d - C2d - 645	MIGHTY MUSCLE (2) - considerably slow early. Placed in restricted room entering the second turn checking outwards off heels and being slightly dragged down by DIG DIG DIG. Awkwardly placed on heels exiting the final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have general soreness consistent with being dragged down and possible acidosis. HOT PLATTER (3) - bumped with THRILLING AMIGO early stages. THRILLING AMIGO (4) - bumped with HOT PLATTER early stages. ALLEN MACK (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages losing ground before becoming awkwardly placed on the hind quarters of EMGRAND ROSE. EMGRAND ROSE (6) - turned outwards slightly exiting first turn when having its hind quarters bumped. DIG DIG DIG (7) - awkwardly placed on heels second turn being obliged to change ground and collided heavily with GO ANGEL and losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a torn left deltoid muscle and pain to both sartorius muscles GO ANGEL (8) - heavily contacted by DIG DIG DIG second turn losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
