Weather: FineTrack: Good Track was presented in a good racing order being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well ( refer judicial )
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: N/A
Judicial report: 1- race 1 was delayed by 14 minutes due to a stanchion under the rail needing to be repaired after breaking during trialing when repaired the lure was tested around the whole circumference of the track with everything working well.
2- Trainer B Mitchell applied to the Stewards per rules 55.7 & 8 to have the endorsement cancelled on the papers of TUFF TEMPTRESS with the greyhound having completed the required 10 clear runs.
3- DAPPER RAPPER # 4 race 2 charged with failing to pursue -subsequent vet check 21 days stand down for injury - stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial per rule 38.9.

| Race 1 | DAVE AND JEAN FAHEY C0 Ht1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | This race was delayed by 14 minutes ( refer judicial ). CLASSIC RAPPER (1) - dwelt at the jump held up when unable to clear heels racing around the first turn clipped heels and checked racing in to the back straight losing several lengths was racing handy and looking to improve closer to the leader on the top bend when severely checked going down on his hindquarters and was badly unbalanced losing all chance thereafter finishing towards the rear and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found. BIG TIME JACKSON (5) - bumped and jostled for a few strides in the run to the first turn checked and went sideways in to the bend for a couple of strides improved to race handy on to the far bend when attempting to angle inwards severely hampered CLASSIC RAPPER racing to his inner with him weakening in the latter stages in the run to the line. BIGTIME BAILEY (9/6) - dwelt at the jump was then quickly in to stride checked and pushed extremely wide in to the first turn losing ground |
| Race 2 | DAVE AND JEAN FAHEY C0 Ht2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | GIRAFFE CLUB (2) - hampered for some strides after the jump when bumped and jostled for some strides in the run to the first turn hampered for several strides in the run around to the back straight when tightened inwards settled midfield a fair way off the lead weakened in the run to the line. VIKING MAFIA (3) - hampered when checked racing from the boxes DAPPER RAPPER (4) - jumped well angled inwards and turned his head inwards for 4 to 5 strides before straightening to follow the lure then bumped and jostled with runner to his inner racing in to the first turn ran on to heels and checked back racing to the back straight was forced to check again when improving across the top bend losing momentum and ground was referred to the vet and was found to have a tear to insertion of left deltoid & pain over wrist and has been stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial. OUR HOTROD (5) - hampered when contacted in the hindquarters and had to check off heels racing extremely wide in to the first turn losing ground improved between runners in to the far bend making ground to the line. |
| Race 3 | QUALITY INN COLLEGIATE WANGANUI C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | SILENT DISMISSAL (2) - fav- went down on his nose jumping from the boxes then checked as he got in to stride settled back and was checked again in to the first turn when galloping over the top of a falling runner losing momentum and ground finishing towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and was found to have right tensor facia lata thigh muscle injury VALVE BOUNCING (5) - racing in extremely tight quarters to the first turn when catching heels unbalancing contacting the rail and falling recovered to his paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain 4th metacarpals & carpal on rotation pain & swelling grazing below left elbow. IDOL STEFFIE (7) - angled inwards to the first turn pressuring runner to her inner across on to heels soon after racing around the first turn was forced to check off heels was unable to improve thereafter was referred to the vet and was found to have a left deltoid muscle tear |
| Race 4 | QUALITY INN COLLEGIATE WANGANUI C1 Ht2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 | IDOL ZIGGY (1) - dwelt and was slow away soon after was bumped and tightened coming back off heels losing momentum racing in to the first turn and was unable to get in to contention thereafter. OPAWA TAI (2) - hampered when jostled and tightened losing some ground in the run in to the first turn. SHERMO BALE (3) - hampered for some distance in the run around the top bend when attempting to improve around runners BORN QUICK (4) - handy in to the first turn ran a bit wide settled 3rd on the outer but wide bumped when racing between runners on the top bend and contact again in to the home straight when weakening finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found Trainer M Flipp was spoken regarding the dogs performance tonight and reported that she was also disappointed in the dogs run tonight and will be restricting the dogs immediate future racing to shorter distances. BIG TIME ELSA (5) - was hampered for some strides in the run around the bend to the home straight when clearing heels and being forced widest causing her to cover a fair amount of extra ground to they straightened for the run home. ELECTRICAL STORM (8) - forced to check out widest over heels racing in to the first turn losing ground made good ground steadily thereafter to the line. |
| Race 5 | FIRST SECURITY C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | DISOBEDIENCE (4) - slow away improved in to the bend running on to heels weakened in the run to the line. OPAWA VINNY (7) - checked at the start angled outwards widest in to the bend was then hampered for some strides when attempting to clear heels and improve. |

BIGTIME TANK (4) - making ground towards the leading runner on the home bend when contacted in the hindquarters and checked as the field straightened costing him momentum and ground. UTHOR BALE (6) - awkwardly placed behind runners tightened and checked running wide in to the first turn losing momentum and ground improved in to the body of the field in to the far bend was making very good ground nearing the home turn when forced to check off heels losing momentum ran on when balanced up. |

BIG TIME MARLISA (4) - jumped best then bumped led in to the first turn contact hindquarters went sideways for stride or so becoming unbalanced and drifted back to a clear last in the running finishing on to the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have a torn right gracilis muscle and recommended xrays . BIGTIME ANNIE (5) - soon after the start was bumped and jostled between runners for a few strides crossing in to the first turn checking runner to her inner. DJAY DYNAMIX (6) - jumped well was then tightened and jostled between runners for a few strides hampered again racing in to the first turn being tightened in on to hindquarters causing him to stumble and check out wide losing all chance thereafter . |

GO ASH (5) - went up with the lids soon after was tightened and jostled for some distance in the run to the bend where he stumbled for a stride when checking off heels losing momentum and ground. BIGTIME HONEY (6) - soon after the start was tightened and jostled between runners for some distance in the run to the bend where she was hampered again losing momentum and was unable to improve thereafter and was referred to the vet was found to have a laceration to the 4th digit left hind. BIGTIME STELLA (7) - was hampered for some distance in the run to the bend as runners to her inner were forced outwards where she was jostled and dictated wide in to the bend as she attempted to improve around runners. DYNAMITE DANGER (8) - angled across from the jump hampering runners for some strides. |

BREED APART (4) - angled outwards soon after the start racing widest when dictated outwards in to the bend thereafter covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running.
