Track: Good . There was intermittent rain from race 10 on wards, with the track remaining good.
Scales: Correct at checked weights.
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: 1) Trainer N Udy was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice pursuant with Rule 40.1 in that he failed to scratch MANIMAL (race 5) by the required time and denied a reserve dog a start. A $300 fine was imposed.
2) Trainer J McInerney was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice pursuant with Rule 44.6 in that his kennel staff failed to present SUMMER GLEE (race 1) by the required time for kenneling. A $50 fine was imposed.
3) Trainer J McInerney was issued with an Information pursuant with Rule 45.11 in that JETLAG JAG was presented up 1.7 kg in weight from its previous start on 2 September, this being the fourth such offence within the preceding 120 days and has been referred to the JCA.
4) DYNA BRYLEIGH (M Roberts) stood down pending a satisfactory trial pursuant with Rule 38.9 and provide a veterinary clearance before being nominated.

Inconvenienced by fallen runner on the point of the bend, losing all chance. MICKEY MOWHAWK (3) - squeezed runner to its inside entering the bend. BILL BARNACLE (5) - bumped runner to its outside shortly after the start, and again nearing the bend becoming unbalanced and in turn squeezing runner to its inside. Checked runner from behind on the point of the bend causing that runner to fall, in turn stumbling and falling briefly. Raced wide through the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. JAMBOREE (6) - bumped shortly after the start. Squeezed nearing the bend. Bumped runner to its outside entering the home straight. SUMMER GLEE (7) - began awkwardly. Squeezed runner to its inside nearing the bend. Bumped runner to its outside entering the bend. Bumped entering the home straight. OMA RAPETI (8) - bumped entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and moving up the track. Checked from behind on the point of the bend, falling as a result, regaining her feet and completing the race. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed general soreness.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	FIRECRACKER (1) - slow away. Raced wide through the home straight. GEMMAS DILEMMA (3) - bumped runner to its outside at the start. Bumped runner to its outside on the point of the bend. Raced wide through the early stages of the home straight. SPRING COMET (4) - bumped at the start. Bumped on the point of the bend. BIG TIME CAMILA (9/2) - slow away.
Race 3	AON CPF C2 - C2 - 305	BIGTIME BOY (7) - awkwardly away. Raced wide through the home straight. BIGTIME BAXTER (9/3) - awkwardly away.
Race 4	RIVERCITY GAS C1 - C1 - 520	ARM TURNER (1) - bumped runner to its outside shortly after the start. Bumped runner to its outside nearing the final bend. BIG TIME TRAE (2) - awkwardly away. Bumped nearing the final bend. Raced wide through the home straight. THRILLING NINA (3) - slow away. OPAWA TAI (5) - bumped shortly after the start. Checked off heels nearing the final bend. Bumped nearing the home straight. TRUE TESTAMENT (7) - bumped runner to its inside nearing the home straight. BIONIC BOY (10/8) - raced wide for the majority of the event. Checked off heels on the point of the bend, falling as a result. Regained his feet and completed the race. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain in right hind quadriceps.

COSMIC MARTY (2) - bumped runner to its inside shortly after the start. JUDGE ME JACKIE (3) - squeezed runner to its outside shortly after the start. Raced wide through the home straight. HOMEBUSH SHEA (7) - squeezed runner to its inside shortly after the start. JUST LIKE HARRY (9/5) - squeezed and shunted sideways shortly after the start. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries.
Race 6	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	SAHARA DREAM (1) - squeezed entering the bend, losing ground as a result. I'LL BE LOYAL (2) - brushed runner to its outside shortly after the start. Bumped nearing the bend, moving towards the rail and squeezing runner to its inside entering the bend. ROSE AND CROWN (3) - bumped runner to its outside shortly after the start. Bumped on the point of the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. SLICK AS JEWELS (4) - brushed runner to its inside shortly after the start. Bumped runner to its outside on the point of the bend. BIGTIME SILVER (6) - began awkwardly. GOLDSTAR DAYTON (7) - bumped shortly after the start. Bumped runner to its inside nearing the bend.
Race 7	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	BIGTIME AVA (1) - slow away. DIAMOND GEEZER (3) - raced wide through the majority of the event. ZARA JINX (6) - raced wide through the back straight. Stood down to complete a satisfactory trial and required to be vet checked and cleared following the trial.

Squeezed between runners entering the bend losing ground as a result. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME PRICKLE (4) - bumped nearing the bend. Squeezed runner to its outside entering the bend. GO RING (5) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. PRETTY BELINDA (6) - bumped shortly after the start. Squeezed runner to its inside entering the bend. GOTCHA MARSHALL (7) - began awkwardly.
