Judicial report: 1). The J.C.A received a Review lodged by Mr. A Roberts against a decision handed down by the Racing Integrity Unit Stewards at Christchurch GRC's Meeting on the 25th July 2019. The Stewards determined, under the provisions of Greyhound Racing New Zealand's Rule 55.1.a, that his greyhound ‘BERTIE ALLEN’ had Marred another runner during Race 11. Subsequently, 'BERTIE ALLEN' was suspended for 3 months and ordered to undergo a satisfactory trial prior to being nominated for any further races. At the hearing held today at Addington raceway the J.C.A, having viewed the replay vision and taking into account evidence tendered by Stewards and Mr Roberts, found that it was correct for the Stewards to form the opinion that the greyhound 'BERTIE ALLEN' had Marred another runner and the review was dismissed.~~

2). INSIDE AFFAIR (J Dunn) - was a late scratching from Race 8 when presenting with diarrhea this morning.

Race 2	Happy Horse's Birthday Stakes - C2 - 520	MIDNIGHT MAGGIE (4) - lost ground when placed in tight quarters entering the first bend. GOLDSTAR ALASKA (5) - contacted and bumped down the track on several occasions in the run to the first bend. GOLDSTAR CHIEF (6) - came in on jumping making contact with inside greyhound. Again made contact with inside greyhound in the run to the first bend.
Race 3	Swimming Goat @ Stud Dash - C3 - 295	HOMEBUSH HUNDY (1) - squeezed for racing room entering the room and lost ground checking trailing runners in consequence.Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CAWBOURNE CRUZ (2) - hampered and lost momentum rounding the bend. MA CHERE (4) - hampered and lost momentum rounding the bend. COSMIC JASE (6) - checked and lost ground rounding the bend. GOLDSTAR GALAXIE (7) - checked and forced wide rounding the bend. COME A GUSTER (8) - checked inwards off heels exiting the bend.
Race 4	Clarkson's Sign Studio Sprint - C3 - 295	HOMEBUSH TESAN (1) - jostled with outside greyhound prior to the bend. KNOW SCRUTINY (2) - awkwardly placed on heels entering and rounding the bend. KALONGA (3) - when questioned regarding the improved performance of this greyhound co-trainer S Evans advised the bitch benefited from jumping to the lead and having an uninterrupted passage to this finish. GOLDSTAR SPOTTY (4) - jostled prior to the bend before being placed in restricted room and losing ground.Checked form behind rounding the bend losing further ground. DEBBIE BAXTER (5) - slow early. KIWI GUNN (7) - slow early.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	PUNCH ON JESSIE (1) - boxed first. OHOKA CLARE (2) - hampered and turned inwards slightly entering the bend. CATHY MAREE (3) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend and lost ground. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. SHAW WINNER (4) - hampered in the run to the bend becoming placed in restricted room and losing ground. Awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend.
Race 6	Glenbyre Tavern Sprint - C3 - 295	MITCHAM READO (1) - bumped down the track early stages. MULBERRY MINX (2) - bumped with outside runner early stages. Placed on heels and lost momentum early stages. Made the bend awkwardly. Referred to the veterinarian where it was reported to have a wrist strain. CALL ME JOE (3) - squeezed for room early stages. SOZIN'S BLUE (4) - forced down the track early stages. Checked and lost ground early stages. KING KALI (5) - shifted down the track early stages. HOMEBUSH FINN (6) - forced down the track early stages. GOLDSTAR DODGE (7) - came down the track impeding inside runners early stages. KNOW HASSLE (8) - slow early.
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Clendon Inn Dash - C4 - 295	SMASH ATTACK (2) - awkwardly placed on heels in the run to the bend. NOZZNO FEAR (6) - squeezed for room early stages. Checked in off heels rounding the bend.
Race 8	Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C5 - 295	INSIDE AFFAIR (5) - was a late scratching. NIPPA MARTINO (1) - awkwardly placed entering the bend and was unable to progress forward before checking outwards off heels. WILDEBEEST (3) - shifted outwards off heels in the run to the bend. FLEUR DIOR (6) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C3 - 520	KNOW EQUAL (1) - squeezed for racing room entering the first bend losing ground. Jostled entering the final bend losing ground. KNOW LEAVE (3) - slow early before shifting up the track.Wide first bend. KNOW CONCLUSION (4) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend. SEFTON JOY (6) - jostled entering the final bend losing ground. COSMIC RUBEN (7) - bumped with inside runner exiting the final bend. PERFECT RESULT (8) - bumped with outside runner exiting the final bend.
Race 10	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C4/5 - 520	DYNA MONTY (7) - weakened final stages. Referred to the Veterinarian and found to have swelling and a possible fracture to a metatarsal. Stewards will follow up the recovery of this dog in the coming days.
Race 11	Kaikanui Tavern Sprint - C5 - 295	BECK ELEVEN (1) - contacted and turned entering the bend. Jostled with outside greyhound exiting the bend. MOHICAN RUN (2) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing ground. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (3) - jostled with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. NEELIX (4) - jostled with inside greyhound in the run to the bend. Inconvianced by checked runner rounding the bend losing ground. KETCHIKAN KIM (5) - checked from behind entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. PRINCELY GOLD (6) - bumped down the track early stages.Checked and lost ground rounding the bend. OUR DAZZEL (7) - jostled with inside runner exiting the bend.
