Weather: Fine
Track: Good The track was presented in a good racing condition being well maintained throughout. The race day equipment ( refer judicial ).
Scales: No weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: 1- The scales malfunctioned during weighing today with no weights being recorded due to the uncertainty of the accuracy of the scales.
2- The Club will have the scales re calibrated before the next meeting.
3-J T McInerney was fined $ 300-00 rule 40.1 minor infringement after failing to scratch TIDDY CASH #6 race 1 by the required scratching time denying a reserve dog a place in the field.
4- J T Mcinerney was fined $ 300-00 rule 40.1 minor infringement after failing to scratch GUNNER BLUEBLOOD # 5 race 2 by the required scratching time denying a reserve dog a place in the field.
5- After a problem was discovered with the lure running gear at the conclusion of race 7 the meeting was put back 1 race to allow repairs to carried out.
6- The lure problem was found to be in the braking mechanism that was unable to be repaired today the Stewards, after conferring with the vet, lure driver and club curator the remainder of the races were run without a braking system and were closely monitored at the pull up as the dogs were able to carry on past the usual catching area until caught by their handlers -there were no incidents
7- the meeting was put back one race for the remainder of the programme due to the lure issue.
8- The lids failed to activate for the start of race 10- all dogs were removed from the boxes and vetted for a restart with all runners cleared with the race being hand started.
9-The boxes had undergone repairs to the starting system in previous weeks and had been working well when thoroughly tested by Stewards and Club Curator prior to kenneling today.

BIG TIME RUSTY (4) - away well handy to the bend angled out wide was contacted in the hindquarters racing on to the top bend losing ground finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 2 Pomona Masking Tape C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457 GUNNER BLUEBLOOD late scratching.
BIGTIME ALFIE (1) - angled outwards soon after the start soon after was dictated back inwards and jostled with runner to his outer for some distance when racing towards the rear
BIGTIME SANDY (3) - hampered in to the bend when running on to and checking off heels losing momentum and ground.
TRUE TESTAMENT (4) - angled across soon after the start and jostled with runner to his inner for some distance when racing towards the rear.
Race 3 Spray Specialists Palmerston North C3 - C3 - 457 ZIPPING COBRA (1) - tightened checked and lost ground racing in to the bend recovered quickly to stay in the midfield.
BIGTIME BENJI (3) - angled across in to the bend contacting and checking runner to his inner
ALL BLACK STAR (8) - angled across in to the bend checking runner to his inner.
BIGTIME TANK (9/5) - handy in to the bend when tightened and went back
Race 4 CE Spray Collision Repairs C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457 TOMMY THE JETT (2) - began awkwardly and was last in to stride by 4 or so lengths made ground in the run to the line.
FUSION CRONULLA (3) - tightened and jostled between runners and was unbalanced when bumped inwards losing ground in to the bend recovered well to finish on strongly in the run to the line.
BIGTIME MIKE (4) - dwelt at the jump settled back checked in to the bend losing momentum and jostled with runner to his inner for some strides and was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
BIGTIME MIA (5) - checked when catching heels in the run towards the bend was severely checked and went sideways in to the bend losing momentum was jostled for some strides in the run around the bend losing ground back towards the rear .
BIG TIME SETH (7) - fav- hampered losing ground when tightened inwards and checked racing in to the bend was unable to improve from midfield thereafter.
Race 5 Total Resurfacing Solutions C4 - C4 - 410 LIMPY JACKSON (2) - began awkwardly losing 4 or so lengths raced wide in to and around the bend made some ground in the run to the line
MILLIE PRINCE (3) - jostled and tightened runners to his outer when attempting to angle outwards in the run to the bend
BIG TIME FROSTY (4) - soon after the start was tightened and checked back from between runners then went inwards across heels racing in to the bend
MIKACHU (5) - bumped and dictated inwards jostling with runners to his inner for some strides in the run to the bend
Race 6 Peter Long Collision Repairs C3 - C3 - 410 CAWBOURNE RIDGE (1) - began awkwardly settled back unbalanced in to the bend losing momentum and was unable to improve thereafter.
THREE AMIGOS (3) - awkwardly away settled midfield came together with runner to his inner on the home turn.
BIGTIME SHEER (4) - handy in to the bend when checked contacting hindquarters going back on to following runner ran outwards losing several lengths
BIGTIME HONEY (6) - improved in to the bend angling in across contacting and checking runner to her inner.
BIGTIME JASMINE (7) - contacted and checked on the home turn
LITTLE SCAMP (9/8) - racing in to the bend ran on to heels checking outwards raced wide in to and around the bend.
Race 7 POR.co.nz 20K Terminating Pick 6 C5 - C5 - 410 The lure came back towards the leading dog in the run across the top bend for approximately 3 to 4 strides this runner did not ease after reviewing the film the Stewards determined that no dogs were affected in this incident and cleared the payout .
BIGTIME PETE (1) - led out lure came back towards this runner in the run across the top bend but this runner was always well clear of the field
BIGTIME EMJAY (3) - tightened and checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground.
BIGTIME ANNIE (5) - contacted and pushed sideways then jostled racing in to the bend losing momentum and ground checked again when coming back off heels in the run across the top bend was unable to improve thereafter.
BIGTIME ZIGGY (6) - caught and tightened between runners and severely hampered going back towards the rear in the run in to the bend losing all chance.
BIGTIME SHINE (7) - ran inwards from the jump contacting runner to her inner soon after was contacted in the hindquarters being pushed inwards and jostled for some strides.
BIGTIME PEARL (8) - angled across soon after the start contacting hindquarters and jostled and bumped with this runner and unbalanced for a stride or so racing in to the bend losing momentum .
BIGTIME LILY (9/4) - dictated inwards in to the bend and was tightened and checked back.
Race 8 Total Truck Spray C1/C2 Distance - C1/2d - 660 This race started 12 minutes behind the scheduled time ( refer judicial )
HOT PLATTER (3) - dictated widest along the back straight in to the far bend angled inwards around the bend finishing in midfield at the line.
HAZE ADAMS (4) - angled outwards in to the back straight and race wide when attempting to improve effort told in the run home.
Race 9 Paintworkz Wanganui C2 - C2 - 410 BLUE PRECISION (1) - hampered when tightened in to the bend settled midfield weakened in the run to the line.
BIG TIME MARLISA (2) - raced wide in to the bend was held up for some strides in the run across the top bend made ground strongly to the line in the latter stages.
VAN JACK (4) - angled outwards soon after the start to race widest across the top bend in to the home straight to the line.
BIGTIME SILVER (7) - began awkwardly and was last in to stride by several lengths was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
Race 10 Airflowe Panel and Paint C1 - C1 - 410 The lids failed to activate -the dogs were unloaded and checked by the vet for a re start with the race hand started 6 minutes behind the scheduled start time.
BIG TIME KOBE (1) - fav- began awkwardly settled back checked off heels when on the improve across the top bend checked again when tightened and jostled nearing the home turn losing momentum finishing in midfield at the line.
I'LL BE LOYAL (3) - improving between runners nearing the home turn when contacted hindquarters checking losing momentum finishing towards the rear at the line.
VALYRIAN STEEL (4) - hampered in the run from the boxes when dictated across to the rail raceing handy towards the home turn when contacted and pushed sideways for a couple of strides losing momentum and ground back towards the rear
BIG TIME DUSTY (5) - held up for some strides in the run towards the home turn finished well when clear in the run to the line.
CHOICE LASS (7) - dwelt at the jump settled back raced wide in to and around the bend clipped from behind nearing the home turn running widest in to the home straight.
Race 11 August Panel and Spray C1 - C1 - 410 BIG TIME DYNASTY (1) - fav- away fairly soon after was contacted and checked going back towards the rear tightened and checked again racing in to the bend losing momentum and was unable to get back in to contention and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
ARM TURNER (4) - angled across soon after the start causing tightening and jostling to runners to his inner and was then checked from his outer losing momentum and ground back towards the rear made good ground thereafter in the run to the line.
BIGTIME BAXTER (5) - angled inwards nearing the home turn jostling with runner to his inner for some distance.
ELLAND ROAD (7) - dwelt settled back raced wide in to and around the bend finishing on in the run to the line.
DEE BEE GEE (8) - improving along the inner towards the home bend when was tightened and jostled from her outer for some strides losing her position and ground in the run to the line.
Race 12 Advanced Panel and Paint C5 - C5 - 457 BIGTIME ARCHIE (4) - bumped and checked soon after the start when contacted from his outer ran onto heels and lost ground in the run across the top bend.
BIGTIME BRODY (5) - angled across from the jump contacting runner to his inner
GAZZA'S GIRL (6) - dwelt at the start settled back was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
ASK KING JEFF (8) - raced widest throughout covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running.
